Tranquility is what you will feel when you come stay at this cabin. It is located on a corner lot nestled in the wooded dune area near Goshorn Lake and close to Lake Michigan. This four bedroom, 1,700 square foot home is the perfect place to relax while having access to the fun artistic resort towns of Saugatuck and Douglas. Saugatuck and Douglas have wonderful restaurants and shopping. You are minutes away from top rated Oval Beach and hikes on sandy beach trails near Felt Mansion and Saugatuck State Park to Lake Michigan beaches. Close to Holland, Michigan (home of the Tulip Festival) with a great downtown with lots of restaurants/breweries, activities, bigger farmers market (Saturday), shopping, etc.

Great place

We had a great time at the cabin the owner was understanding and helped us with early arrival. We are looking forward to rent the cabin in summer.

Wonderful get away

My sisters and I came across this cabin through Vrbo and loved it! It was secluded yet close to Saugatuck and has many amenities. We were able to kayak and use the hot tub; the cabin is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

Awesome Getaway!

We loved the cabin! So comfy and cozy. The owners thought of everything! Little bit of kayaking, little bit of fishing. Close to Oval Beach. Just a perfect stay!!

Great experience and wonderful cabin

What a great stay at a wonderful cabin. The cabin had all the amenities you could ask for, hot tub, fireplace with plenty of wood, a fully functional kitchen all in a great location. We will be back!

Michigan get away

My husband and I and a few friends stayed for a few days around 4th of July. We really enjoyed the cabin. It was clean, plenty of amenities and was conveniently located near several activities. I would highly recommend staying there.

Nice cabin

This cabin exceeded our expectations! Very clean, plenty of space for family of 6. Kids loved the hot tub and screened in porch at night. We enjoyed the Saugatuck Dune Rides (which is a short walk from the cabin). We booked a fishing charter (6 min drive) drove to the local beaches (6-10 min drive).

Great and Close to Saugatuck

Property was fantastic, clean, well stocked and everything was fantastic. The short walk to the community beach was undersold and my kids loved it. Also, This place is only 1.5 miles from downtown and very walkable with a bike path when you hit the main road. 100% would rent again.

Excellent stay

We had a great stay in the cabin. Everything was clean and organized. Right next to the dune ride which was very convenient. You could also watch the riders go by from the back porch which was fun. Quiet street and somewhat secluded. Screened in porch was great to keep the bugs away. Would stay again.

Cabin in the woods

The pictures of the cabin do not do justice to how beautiful the cabin is. The cabin is very well stocked in all aspects - cooking, bedding, and bath. The owner is very responsive to all questions.

Good stay

As expected and listed. Kitchen appliances and dishes/tools/pots and pans nicer than other places we've stayed. Everything as good as expected or better. Would recommend. We had a slight problem w/ the thermostat, but the host quickly corrected once we notified them. Would stay again.

Birthday Weekend / Family Time

Family weekend to celebrate a birthday and have family time together. Convenient location, lots of places for 4 adult couples to have alone time or quiet time. The fire pit was very popular both nights and the s’mores were yummy !! Kitchen was awesome for the foodie chefs to cook and finally a table that actually fits 7 adults!! I appreciated the first floor bedroom due to mobility issues. Everyone wants me to book it again for next year!

We had excellent communication with the property owner but never saw or heard from the property manager. Several other rentals had excessive vehicles and guests. Nobody seemed to be checking on such things.

Tranquility

Tranquility Cabin - the perfect name for our Cabin! The host was excellent to work with, fast and easy. Having not ever stayed in any of the cabins before, Our cabin was a beautiful and the stay was magnificent. All of my adult siblings and I brought our parents up to the Tulip Festival and it was the perfect distance from Holland as well as so many other shopping areas. Very Quiet, very well decorated, and fully furnished with much more than anticipated. We didn't get a chance to use the campfire site or the outdoor seating this time with everything we had planned in the trip, but certainly will next time. We will be back! Everyone commented on the cabin and Loved it!

Relaxing, Fun, Cozy Cabin

My dream cabin! The cabin is beautiful with rustic charm of a log cabin and decorated very well. Love the screened in porch and hot tub! This cabin is in a secluded area past the Saugatuck Dune rides. They really have everything at the cabin to enjoy yourself. Very close to the path for a short walk to Goshorn Lake. They even had kayaks and SUP to use. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and spices. About a 4-5min drive into downtown Saugatuck. Really close to everything but feels very private. Our family of 4 (kids 8/9) had an amazing time and we would definitely rent this cabin again and can't wait to go back!

Outstanding Log Cabin Rental!!

Our daughter and son-in-law and their 5 and 3 year olds joined us at Joelle’s cabin for a week. It was a great property…very clean, a lot of room, great dining table to eat and play games at, beds were comfortable, and great size bathrooms. We loved the screened in porch with the hot tub! The grill was so convenient and the fire pit and Adirondack chairs were great! We also enjoyed all the toys for the kids and the large basement for our one rainy day. Our kids’ favorite activities were very conveniently located within walking distance: the Dunes Nature ride, the ice cream shop, the beach, and fishing off the dock (many fish caught and released to the delight of the kids!)! We would highly recommend Joelle’s cabin. She was quick to respond to any concerns or questions. We would definitely come back again. It’s also a short drive to so many attractions in the area in nearby Holland, Saugatuck, and Lake Michigan.

You will love this cabin!

This is the perfect cabin for a family getaway, we had 6 adults and 2 young ones. The little beach is down a short path by the cabin. All of us enjoyed hanging out at the beach, the water was too cold to go in but the beach was great for lounging and frisbee. Location of this cabin was awesome for us, private yet not far at all to the downtown area. We also loved the sand dune ride and the kids, especially my 5 yr old, kept watch as they drove past. And everything you may need is probably here, very well stocked. The kids needed a bandaid and I forgot to pack them, but thankfully there were some in the cabinet. It will be hard to stay anywhere else because the next vrbo will have to live up to this one. The host was nice and great with communication as well!

The Barber Family- my husband and I grew up on the west side of the state and love the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches and atmosphere of all the resort towns along the way. Our kids and I went to Hope College and we love having a place so close to Holland. I remember trips in college to visit Saugatuck for meals, a walk on the boardwalk and visiting all the cute little shops. Hope you love Saugatuck as much as we do!

We love the Hidden Dunes community. The lakefront we share is beautiful and a great place to hang out, fish, swim, paddle board, kayak or just float around in the water with a beverage soaking up the sun. We have so many wonderful memories here of just relaxing and spending time with family and friends.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Our little corner of Hidden Dunes offers a little more privacy than some of the other lots. We love sitting out under the stars at night enjoying a campfire. After a day exploring the Saugatuck State Park sandy trails or soaking up the sun and view at Oval Beach in Douglas, a soak in the hot tub on the back screened in porch is so relaxing. There is also a fireplace in the family for a cozy fire during the colder months. Fall is a great time to really enjoy the color around our lake and the State Park area.
