This was a perfect stay: log cabin with the fresh scent of woods, fire pit in the backyard, comfy beds, private beach... We had the best girls weekend here!

Really fun cabin in a neat community with lots to do. Good host good communication and lots of recreational stuff included. Definitely worth a stay.

Our family had a terrific time at Bear Cabin! It was clean and comfortable with bonus play space in the basement (ping-pong and air hockey). We cooked most meals at the cabin, and the fully loaded kitchen made it easy. The private lake is nice, but we really loved going to explore the many beaches in the area (Lake Michigan). We also had a great time on a Dune Ride excursion (just minutes from the cabin) and kayaking in Wade's Bayou in downtown Saugatuck. We will definitely be back to the area, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with Drake again.

Dynamite location that accommodated 5 adults comfortably. We had a blast playing ping pong and sitting around the fire pit. Would definitely come back to experience the area in the fall.

Bear's Cottage great for groups

The Bear's Cottage is spacious and well-equipped. The location is great for activities in Saugatuck and Holland. It's a great place for a family or group of friends.

Great stay

Our son graduated from Hope on Sunday. Great location, close enough to Holland while keeping us out of the chaos of the Tulip Festival. Great communication from the owner during the process!

Beautiful cabin with all the amenities. Love the quiet setting and beautiful scenery. Close to many other cities and restaurants....lovely area!

Nice cabin - had everything we were looking for. Used both the exterior fire pit and interior fire place. 4 bedrooms made it feel more spacious and accommodating. Only a 5 min drive to downtown Saugatuck.

Long Weekend

Six family members enjoyed this spacious cabin for a long holiday weekend. It was equipped with everything we needed. Great location- just a short car ride to town or the State Park.

Great experience. Very clean, spacious bathrooms and kitchen and living area. We were there for my son’s wedding so didn’t spend a lot of time there but perfectly served its purpose for our family as a home base. Would love to go back and enjoy for a longer vacation! Highly highly recommend, 5 stars

Family surprise party

We enjoyed the beautiful location of the cabin along with the fire pit and inside fireplace as it was cool outside. The cabin was well laid out and supplied, made use of ping pong table and dining table for family games.

Very nice cabin

We were in Saugatuck for a wedding and this rental fit all of our needs. Clean and well stocked. Communication with owner was excellent and check-in went smoothly.

Great cabin in a great location

Drake was great to work with. We stayed for several days for our daughter’s commencement weekend from Hope College. The location is very peaceful yet close to Holland and Saugatuck. We wish we’d had more time to enjoy the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Girls getaway

The house is exactly as pictured. Very beautiful home. It is in a neighborhood setting however and there are a lot of HOA rules. Great location to everything though, we enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at the property. We cooked some steaks using the grill, used the firepit for s'mores and enjoyed some good conversation around the dinner table and fireplace. We played some games and just generally relaxed and recharged. Saugatuck is a fun area and visiting Butler Street is a must- eat down by the water and just enjoy the vìew. This was exactly what we needed. Thank you, Drake, for being a helpful host!
