In The Heart Of Historic Downtown Franklin

Nestled in the original five block square of Historic Downtown Franklin, you will be able to walk to the Square, the Franklin Theater, and all the charm of Main Street in less than five minutes. It is faster to walk than to drive! Truly, one of the most convenient locations available. The Franklin Guest House is a converted garage that has been renovated into a delightful guest house. The bedroom provides a peaceful night's sleep with its king size bed. Adjoining the bedroom is a full bath with a shower and jetted soaking tub combination.

There is a fully-equipped and updated kitchen with granite counter tops and tile backsplash. The dining area and living room's cathedral ceiling and skylights give this room an aura of beauty and warmth, and the sleeper sofa will accommodate two more guests! For your use, you will also find a new Whirlpool front loading washing machine and a front loading dryer. There is an extra 1/2 bathroom off the living area. There is a desk area for working guests with a WiFi speed of 1200 MbPS. This guest house is a one of a kind! From its lovely decor to its convenient location, you will find that your new home away from home exemplifies the graciousness of Franklin, Tennessee!

Location

This little house is in the perfect location, easy walking distance to the historic downtown. The house was perfect for my needs and Susan is very sweet andEasy to stay with. I would highly recommend this.

Wonderful Experience!

Unfortunately we weren’t able to fly in/stay due to personal reasons everything prior to rental dates was excellent, including communication etc! We can’t wait to book this place in 2025!

Wonderful

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this lovely vrbo in Franklin while we were in town for a weekend with singer/songwriter Matthew West. The home was within walking distance to the Factory where we met several times. We were also there for the tree lifting which was amazing!! Susan was such a wonderful host she came over when we arrived to show us around the house and was so friendly! 10/10!

Park the car and walk everywhere

This location is perfect as downtown is just one street over. We walked most places to eat if we didn’t use the fully furnished kitchen to make a meal. Will certainly visit again.

Charming Guest Cottage

This is our second time staying at the Franklin Guest House and we are planning a third time next year. Susan is a perfect hostess; both helpful and friendly. The bed is very comfy, which is extremely important to us. And, it is only one block off from the historic downtown (great shopping and restaurants)! 🙂

Fall visit

This was the perfect spot for our visit to Franklin. The cottage is cozy and had everything we needed. Check-in was convenient. A very short walk to downtown restaurants and stores and an easy drive to Nashville.

Wonderful place to stay!

This cottage is adorable, clean too! So well located in a safe location tucked back amongst huge trees. Hostess Susan couldnt have been more accommodating. Highly recommend, is so truly walkable for everything.

Perfect!

This is our second stay at this guest house and we love it. Our 2 Westies travel with us and there are plenty of parks within walking distance of the rental. We love visiting Franklin and this rental is exceptional in every way! We loved walking to the awesome restaurants in downtown Franklin and not having to worry with parking our car! Susan is a great host! We can’t wait to return!!

Very clean and great location.

We were delighted with the short walk to downtown Franklin. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was spotless. We had one minor issue and after texting a request we got immediate resolution.

Franklin fun!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage, within walking distance to all of the great restaurants and shops. Our host was so sweet and gave us helpful pointers to navigate town.

Charm and comfort

We absolutely loved our stay in Franklin, TN. We were not familiar with the area and were so grateful to be in Franklin. Very close to Nashville but so much quieter. There was a street festival happening when we were there so we were able to join in the festivities which was great. Shops and restaurants in the downtown area are within easy walking distance. Susan was more than gracious and we appreciated being able to stay there.

Perfect Getaway

A friend and I stayed 2 nights in this beautiful Franklin cottage. Everything was perfection. A block from historic Franklin’s downtown. Easy walk with beautiful neighborhoods, great restaurants and shopping. Convenient but not in the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville. Will definitely plan on staying here again.

Wonderful Cottage

Wanted a place near my niece's wedding venue, and got more than we expected! Was able to walk through the historic district, saw a parade and got to eat wonderful meals and/or shop. Lovely cottage within walking distance of Franklin, TN!

Incredible Property and Host!

What you see and read on VRBO does not begin to describe this property and host. Susan is such a delight to work with and the property is amazing. Immaculately clean, well stocked and just over a block from Main Street.we would return to Franklin just to stay in this wonderful cottage!

Our family loved Franklin, Tennessee before Garden and Gun Magazine named Franklin 'The Best Southern Town' or Southern Living Magazine ranked Franklin on their top 'Best Places List'. In fact, we have lived here for over 150 years, and my great great grandparents lived just a block away from our guesthouse during The Battle of Franklin! For generations we have known that Franklin was an extraordinary place, and we are proud to call it home!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is the most wonderful feature of
The Franklin Guest House! The guest house is within moments of Main Street. Our home is next door, and when my children were quite young; they were allowed to go to the shopping/dining area of Franklin by themselves. (Back then you could buy fried rice for 99 cents, plus Gray's Drugstore had penny candy!) Such a sweet place to raise a family! Even though stores have changed, the location is still the same.
