As I mentioned to you prior to your booking, our Home Owner Association was doing some significant work on the building in late 2014 and early 2015. The building was painted and re-sealed, all the balcony railings were replaced, the ground floor was re-done, and there was work done on the elevators. We could still rent but the schedule was not firm so I had to let renters know the situation up front should they choose to still rent. Luckily, as of Spring 2015 all of that work is done and the building looks terrific. At the same time, we decided to make some significant improvements in our unit. We took out all the flooring and installed beautiful new tile throughout. We also opened up the kitchen and added a bar top on the end so that the cook could also enjoy the beautiful view. So now everything is updated both inside and out. Thanks again for choosing our property for your family reunion. We hope you can come back again and enjoy the balcony on your next trip!

We have worked very hard to provide a quality experience which I believe you will see by all the other reviews listed. Good or bad, I appreciate people taking time to leave reviews as it can be helpful to others. However, I don’t appreciate the exaggerations and inaccurate information included in this review. We were informed on March 11 that they would be replacing the roof and doing additional work on the outside of the building. The main task was to the seal the outside of the building which is done by painting sealant on the outside walls. We were told that the workers would not need to enter the units except in very rare circumstances. Workers are on platforms hanging on the outside of the building. Since the work is constantly changing it is difficult to know what stage they are in to inform guests. We initially emailed guests prior to arrival and no one said anything so we stopped. That was our mistake and after this guest we started emailing everyone again. What we did not realize is that the workers covered the balcony railing in plastic, when working that section, to protect the railings. This is only the railing, not the entire view and the balcony was fully accessible. I am truly sorry that the guest was unhappy as again, we work hard to provide a quality experience.
