Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay at Grand River Lodge. While it sounds like Mother Nature brought plenty of rain, we're happy to hear you were still able to get some fishing in and make the most of your time by the river! Thank you for choosing Grand River Lodge, and we hope to welcome you back again for another stay—hopefully with a little more sunshine next time! Take care, Sherrie

We are thankful for your 4 star review and allowing us to host you at Grand River Lodge. This large, spacious, riverfront cabin has a lot to offer guests. We try to make sure things are cleaned by other guests so we are sorry you found dirty dishes. We will check into updating/upgrading the firepit in the spring. The listing says West Jefferson at first glance but the second click on the listing does use "Crumpler" as it location. This is a zip code outside of Jefferson/West Jefferson area. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin. We look forward to you coming to visit and allowing us to host your stay again! Thank You, 4SeasonsVacations

We are thankful for your 5 star review and allowing us to host you at Grand River Lodge. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin. Your feedback is so important to us to ensure that things are up to standard for each guest. We have high standards but cannot prevent all bugs, even with regular pest control treatments. I will have housekeeping double check these things for the future. We look forward to you coming to visit and allowing us to host your stay again! Thank You, 4SeasonsVacations

While Grand River Lodge is an older home, the kitchen has been completely remodeled and features new furnishings. We appreciate your comments regarding the lawn, porch, linens, and housekeeping. Because the home is located on a gravel road, the porch can accumulate dust quickly. We were happy to send our housekeeping team during your stay to address the linen concerns. We have recently purchased new ones, and we will ensure the older ones are replaced. Thank you again for your feedback. We appreciate it and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to the New River in the future. Take care, Sherrie

We are so glad you were able to enjoy this large, spacious cabin with your family. Any time there is an accident at a cabin, we always want to know but nobody called us to report. We expect everyone to be able to have fun and be safe at our cabins. We will forward your skid guard recommendation for the stairs to the owner and they are very responsive to suggestions by guest.
