This convenient, luxurious , recently redone two bedroom condo in the Fawn Grove complex is located in Lower Deer Valley, midway between Old Town, Park City and Deer Valley Ski Resort. Buses serve the entire area running every 10 minutes. Snow Park Lodge (Deer Valley) is a three minute ride. At Deer Valley, friendly mountain hosts help carry your skis. At the end of the day you can leave the skis in a free overnight corral. There is no snowboarding at Deer Valley. For snowboarder guests, the bus runs to Park City Resort , 10 minutes away. Main Street is five minutes by bus or walkable, making this condo a wonderful location with or without a car.
The slopes of Deer Valley are framed through the sliding glass doors in the living room of Fawngrove #1574 and the view from the private tub is spectacular, any time of the year.
The owners have recently installed tile flooring with luxurious rugs throughout. The floors are heated for a small extra cost. The bathrooms are totally retiled with heated floors and heated towel racks. The living room has a gas fireplace and a large screen tv, which allows a hookup to Netflix , Amazon, Hulu, Apple Plus, and Paramount.
There is a queen sofa pullout bed, which is very comfortable There are flat screen televisions in all the bedrooms, all with Amazon Fire tv. The master bedroom has a king bed with luxury bedding , tv and large closets.
If you have to do some work, there’s even a printer and paper.

Fantastic location!

Great location with all the comforts of home. We did not cook but there were plenty of dishes, utensils, seasonings etc. A big plus were the humidifiers and fans. The bus picked us up and dropped us off right in front of the building. It was extremely convenient! We had plenty of room. We will definitely recommend this condominium to our friends and family.

Comfortable Unit in a Great Location

This was our second time staying in this unit. The location is simply fantastic. A view of Deer Valley and a very quick (free) bus ride to Snow Park Lodge. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub after a full day of skiing. The owners are personally involved in managing the property and made sure we had a great experience.

Great location- close to Deere Valley and Park City

Overall- we had a good experience. The trip started out rough as they forgot which day we were checking in. Based on this, the unit had not been cleaned and the hot-tub was not ready. The owner did refund us for one night due to this and promptly cleaned the unit the following day. The unit is nice- two bedrooms and cozy fireplace, and garage is convenient. Note- there is not a dining table and the bedroom mattresses are a bit worn out. Keurig also needs fix/ replacing.

Location location location

Great property right on the free bus route to deer valley or park city. Underground parking was a major bonus as no need to clean the fresh powder off the car.

Great location

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. It's right on the bus line for easy access to Deer Valley and Downtown Park City. The unit was well stocked with basics for cooking and food storage which is always nice. The hot tub was perfect after a long day skiing. Would stay again for sure.

Checks all the boxes

This property check all the boxes for a ski family trip. Everything is as described on the website, the owners are very pleasant to interact with, there a great views from the patio, great neighborhood, pond/park right in front and all amenities in working order as expected (including outdoor hot tub, grill, heated floors and heated underground garage, etc). it is not ski-in ski-out, but Deer Valley has an extremely efficient process of holding your skis overnight at the base for free and the condo is only 1 mile away from the base lodge, a breeze with a rental car (we had one) or even the local bus, reportedly. The owners left some nice personal touches, even provided personal cell phone for immediate contact if needed. there is a local manager who was also very responsive to our (minor) requests. Some minor minuses: the condo seems to have been renovated in batches, the wall paper and inexpensive curtains in the living room look a bit dated and could be neater, the TV setup in the living room could be a bit more user friendly, there is no elevator from the garage to the condo (which can be a bit inconvenient with ski boots), but all of these do not amount to anything of significance in our opinion. And the price we paid for Christmas NYE week made this a great value. Overall very pleased with the experience.

Excellent location if you wish to start off your journey of skiing at Deer Valleys Snow Park lodge. Nice accommodation. Comfortable beds, jacuzzi, good heater & on demand hot water. Underground car park!!! Would repeat.

Short bus ride from Deer Valley Resort

Location was perfect for our ski trip to Deer Valley. Having a nice clean hot tub to use after a day of skiing was a plus. Had a few questions and got quick reply’s. Thank you.

Great Trip

The property was really nice and comfortable, cozy fireplace, and comfortable beds. Beautiful view of Deer Valley. The resort is a short bus ride away with a stop right by the condo. Marietta is a great hostess, who makes things easy. Great trip. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Perfect for our Family!

We love to ski at Deer Valley and have stayed in a few other units at Fawngrove. This was our favorite stay. The unit is cozy but had plenty of room for our family of four plus all our ski gear. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. The unit was well-stocked with the essentials, plus a few extras to get us started for the week. The owner was wonderful to work with. We've had previous experiences paying huge fees to property management companies that don't address problems. The owner of this unit is directly involved in the management of the property and has a local gentleman that handles arrival and any issues that might arise (we had none, other than managing to lock ourselves out after dinner one night, and he was there to let us in right away). We will be back!

Last minute Christmas getaway

Our oldest son couldn’t come home for Christmas, so we came to him in DV with my husband, and 2 other sons. We’ve stayed in multiple places in DV, and we think Fawngrove was one of our favorites. I think it’s a hidden gem due to location to Main Street, and Snow Park. We would definitely stay again.

Great Deer Valley location and nice view of the mountains from the living room. House is not super-luxurious, but it has everything you need for a nice cozy stay with a family with one or two kids. Would definitely rent again.

let it snow

Upon calling ARnoldo to let him know when we were checking in he said the previous guests left late so not all the towels were dry..not a big deal but was clear the housekeepers had to rush through cleaning. It was also obvious the condo had not been thoroughly dusted in quite some time. Particularly, the thick layer of dust on the ceiling fans in the bedrooms was quite disgusting! Hence, we did not use the fans. There was an empty jug of laundry detergent sitting on the floor in the quite dirty laundry room. Many of the lamps had bulbs that were burned out and/or could not be plugged in. The view was beautiful and location was perfect.

Great location, challenging stay

Great location for skiing Deer Valley and good layout/size for a family. However, we would not stay again, although these issues could be easily addressed so hopefully others’ experiences will be better: - We followed check-in instructions and were told condo wouldn’t be ready until an hour after check-in time; had to follow up to confirm condo was ready and how to get keys; garage code in email was wrong, and it seemed to be a known issue because the answer when we called the property manager was “oh yea, the email is wrong.” - The second bathroom toilet didn’t work the first time it was used; we contacted the property manager and had to follow up several times to get attention/answer as to when it would be fixed and could be used. Once we were told it was fixed, it still did not flush, resulting in one toilet for the whole stay, yet we had booked two-bathroom lodging. Clearer communication without our needing repeatedly follow up would have made a big difference, even if the toilet couldn’t be repaired during our stay.

David and Marietta have enjoyed Deer Valley for over twenty years. They spend six weeks in the summer, a week at Thanksgiving and two weeks skiing. Otherwise they live in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a psychologist and she is an attorney. They are active in their community and love to travel all over the world. They invite you to enjoy the views at any time of the year. In the winter, they both enjoy skiing, in the summer, there is hiking, biking, music festivals and eating at their favorite restaurants.

The property has been under outside management for many years. Now that we spend more time out here in the summer, we manage it ourself and thus are able to offer more reasonable prices. Our on site manager Arnoldo Alvarado, welcomes you to the condo as he is the manager for our complex. He will respond to any issue that comes up promptly.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Originally they purchased the property because the convenient Salt Lake Airport was only 45 minutes away from Park City. Rental cars were across from the airport. Everything was convenient from the grocery stores to the restaurants . The convenient bus service was a real plus. They hope you will enjoy it as much as they do.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

They chose this property for its convenience to the Deer Valley ski area and the views from the condo. The pond in front of the condo ( 15 feet away) has new duck families every year and its own resident muskrat . Every year at least one moose comes to visit in the lagoon and eventually swims away. It is located 5 minutes from the St . Regis Hotel and its cool funicular and beautiful terrace, high up the mountain. There are three ski areas within ten minutes, 7 ski areas within 45 minutes. It has the best snow in the world with the most incredible groomed slopes and outback area. We would not go anywhere else to ski or spend the summer time.
