Treetop retreat in Pisgah National Forest. Located minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and just 20 minutes to Asheville's famous downtown shopping, dining and live music.
Master bedroom has a Queen size bed, second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a 1/2 bath. The beds have soft cotton sheets and there are lots of fluffy towels. Full bath has a shower/whirlpool tub combo with an extra large shower head. The living room has a 50' flat screen TV and cable, stereo system and a comfy sectional couch to relax on. The open kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances and new cooking utensils.
On the upper deck there is gas BBQ and outdoor seating/dining area. On the lower deck you'll find the private hot tub. You have spa robes and towels available.
Have a soak in the hot tub under the bright stars or take a nap on the chaise lounge chairs on your deck.
Bring your dog and play in the large fenced in lawn. Enjoy relaxing, reading, or picnicking in the cabana located on our lower yard. It’s also a great area to play some Corn Hole or nap on the hammock!
Open your windows at night and enjoy the cool fresh air, the sounds of the creek and waterfalls running nearby.

Perfect place to unwind!

Beautiful house, fully stocked kitchen with great coffee, nice hot tub and outdoor shower, 3 miles from Mt Pisgah trailhead, and the waterfall sounds were very peaceful. The owners are very nice too!

Easy stay with amenities after hurricane

In town for hurricane cleanup, just needed a place to crash and wash up. The hot tub was nice, little deck to relax on too. Great communication leading up to stay

A dreamy getaway near Mt. Pisgah

Absolutely beautiful spot, lovely, kind, thoughtful hosts James and Netty. I needed quiet and a place to work after the difficulties of Hurricane Helene. This sweet place gave me all of that and more. And, my pup was happy too, with a nice fenced yard and a pretty creek nearby. There isn’t one thing about this spot that I would change. It was perfect!

Great place!

We had a great time here! The place is quiet and a definite getaway! Hosts were great in communication and helping with finding things to do. Loved having a big yard for our dogs. Definitely will stay again!

7 miles + from town. Thoughtfully furnished and managed. Great deck in the trees. Perfect for a getaway!

Amazing stay!

Extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts couldn’t have been friendlier, more helpful, or more accommodating. It was perfect for our family of 4 for 2 nights. The hot tub was great for the kids and the property was peaceful and quiet. It’s far enough away from Asheville that it felt private and secluded, but not so far that it was a problem to get to and from. I highly recommend this stay to anyone!

Perfect Getaway

We could not have been more pleased with the rental and our stay. The location is wonderful and within 2 minutes you are heading up the mountains to the Blue Ridge Parkway which was the most gorgeous drive we have ever been on. The house, deck and fenced in yard were amazing. We loved how you can hear waterfalls at all times. The hosts were very awesome, friendly and accomodating. Our kids already want to book a trip back!

Best Vacation Property Yet!

We had the best time here. This property was just like walking into your home. The kitchen is fully stocked with every dish and appliance that you could possibly need. The bathrooms were fully stocked. Plenty of games and entertainment options were available. The half bath in 2nd bedroom came in handy for our family of five. The property is very well kept. The back porch is beautifully done and the hot tub is perfect. The home and grounds were very clean and pleasant. The hosts were so kind and helpful. They even offered us some of their food for dinner because we arrived on Christmas night and most everything was closed for the holiday. I love the privacy of this spot! The owners are right next door but were never a bother. We really enjoyed our fresh ground coffee from the 2nd story deck every morning. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Stay

We’ve been to Asheville area several times but this was our first chance to stay in Candler. First the home was spotless - probably the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed. The size was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 children). We loved our quiet evenings of stargazing and relaxing in the hot tub. James and Netty were the perfect hosts - and their suggestion to visit the NC Arboretum was one of the highlights of our stay! We would definitely visit again. Thank You!

The deck is like a treehouse

We loved our stay at the Treetop retreat. Having my coffee on the deck every morning was so nice. The hosts are next door, they are super friendly and helpful, but also very respectful of our privacy. It was a great homebase to explore nearby Asheville, and Mt Pisgah. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Weekend!

Great communication, beautiful accommodations with anything you may need. The grounds are beautiful and the drive in just as delightful. Hot tub and jacuzzi were wonderful! Fully equipped kitchen, great stereo, two bath, 2 rooms, 3 beds and a large sectional. Extra blankets, lots of towels, games, and very kind owners. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great weekend stay

The hosts were very kind and responsive. They do live right next door, as in less than 100 feet away and the back decks and backyard is connected, which could be undesirable for some, but we didn't mind it at all, and we honestly wouldn't have even known they were our next door neighbors had we not missed the driveway when we first came in. The little apartment is well kept; the hot tub was really nice; we had access to all the things needed for cooking, watching tv, linens and towels. Not too far from downtown Asheville or some really good hiking; be sure to check road closures before you go out driving though! Very dog friendly! I would definitely stay here again but would recommend the hosts switch out the twin beds in the second bedroom for a full or queen bed so multiple couples have better sleeping arrangements.

Walk-in Ready

This cottage is complete with everything you'll need in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. The outdoor experience was by far the best for our pups as the field is huge. We wish we had stayed longer to utilize the firepit and grill. The hottub was such a treat even in 4* weather! Bravo Cozy Cottage

Great place with everything you might need while you're there. Tucked away in The beautiful mountains. Absolutely love the dogs there too! So cute and friendly.

Wonderful

Great property, vey comfortable with nice beds, well appointed kitchen except for dull knives, the hot tub was a great bonus after a cool misty day. James an Netty we’re great hosts. The property is adjacent to the house next to owners which we appreciated for security purposes. We will stay here again when in the area and highly recommended this for a couple or family of four.

Fantastic mountain home, minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway

Tucked into the mountains, and off the Blue Ridge Parkway by just 2 miles. Easy to get to hiking, scenic drives on the parkway, and Asheville. This home had everything needed for our family to enjoy a peaceful getaway, have some family fireside smores, and an evening of board games on the deck, after nearby adventures of white water rafting and waterfall hikes. Thank you James and Netty for a wonderful, safe, clean and comfortable stay.

Summertime in the mountains

This property is absolutely perfect. My husband and I travel a lot and this is by far the best place we have stayed in the US. The decor and privacy are top notch, the kitchen has everything you might need and deck is so relaxing The owners James and Netty are very friendly and helpful if you need anything.

Cute little apartment

We had a wonderful trip and the owners are wonderful and attentive. My only complaints are partially my fault for not reading the entire description. I didn't realize it was a garage apartment and the only way in was up an outside staircase. I also didn't realize the owners live on site so it wasn't very private. It was extremely well stocked and clean though. The bed was super comfy and a long as you aren't looking for privacy and seclusion, it's quite nice.
