Treetop retreat in Mt. Pisgah nearby Asheville

Treetop retreat in Pisgah National Forest. Located minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and just 20 minutes to Asheville's famous downtown shopping, dining and live music.
Master bedroom has a Queen size bed, second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a 1/2 bath. The beds have soft cotton sheets and there are lots of fluffy towels. Full bath has a shower/whirlpool tub combo with an extra large shower head. The living room has a 50' flat screen TV and cable, stereo system and a comfy sectional couch to relax on. The open kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances and new cooking utensils.
On the upper deck there is gas BBQ and outdoor seating/dining area. On the lower deck you'll find the private hot tub. You have spa robes and towels available.
Have a soak in the hot tub under the bright stars or take a nap on the chaise lounge chairs on your deck.
Bring your dog and play in the large fenced in lawn. Enjoy relaxing, reading, or picnicking in the cabana located on our lower yard. It’s also a great area to play some Corn Hole or nap on the hammock!
Open your windows at night and enjoy the cool fresh air, the sounds of the creek and waterfalls running nearby.

Perfect place to unwind!

Beautiful house, fully stocked kitchen with great coffee, nice hot tub and outdoor shower, 3 miles from Mt Pisgah trailhead, and the waterfall sounds were very peaceful. The owners are very nice too!

Great place!

We had a great time here! The place is quiet and a definite getaway! Hosts were great in communication and helping with finding things to do. Loved having a big yard for our dogs. Definitely will stay again!

Easy stay with amenities after hurricane

In town for hurricane cleanup, just needed a place to crash and wash up. The hot tub was nice, little deck to relax on too. Great communication leading up to stay

Delightful

Our family of 4 had a delightful stay. The grill and hot tub were terrific, kids (9 &7) enjoyed having their own room but being close to mom & dad.

Great place - will be back!

Great location - close to Blue Ridge Pkwy and Asheville. The place had all the comforts of home. Our family and dog had a wonderful time! James and Netty were extremely responsive and excellent hosts.

Beautiful views

Lovely base for exploring Ashville

A quiet, clean, comfortable spot that is convenient to the North Carolina Arboretum, the Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The children loved hearing the waterfall from the cottage and playing in the Ford.

A dreamy getaway near Mt. Pisgah

Absolutely beautiful spot, lovely, kind, thoughtful hosts James and Netty. I needed quiet and a place to work after the difficulties of Hurricane Helene. This sweet place gave me all of that and more. And, my pup was happy too, with a nice fenced yard and a pretty creek nearby. There isn’t one thing about this spot that I would change. It was perfect!

Amazing!

Everything about this property was amazing! The outside space was beautiful and very relaxing! The hot tub was great after long days of walking! The beds were super comfy! The owners were very helpful and gave us a lot of good suggestions on what to do! Will definitely try to come back and visit!

The deck is like a treehouse

We loved our stay at the Treetop retreat. Having my coffee on the deck every morning was so nice. The hosts are next door, they are super friendly and helpful, but also very respectful of our privacy. It was a great homebase to explore nearby Asheville, and Mt Pisgah. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway

We could not have been more pleased with the rental and our stay. The location is wonderful and within 2 minutes you are heading up the mountains to the Blue Ridge Parkway which was the most gorgeous drive we have ever been on. The house, deck and fenced in yard were amazing. We loved how you can hear waterfalls at all times. The hosts were very awesome, friendly and accomodating. Our kids already want to book a trip back!

Perfect Vacation Home

What an amazing place. This is one of the most thoughtfully appointed home rentals I've been had in the U.S. Relaxing furniture inside and out; plenty of info about the area; nicely stocked kitchen; quiet and peaceful and yet close to everything in the Blue Ridge/Pisgah area. The hosts give clear directions and communicate if needed--just a wonderful vacation because of this house. Thank you!

Perfect Weekend!

Great communication, beautiful accommodations with anything you may need. The grounds are beautiful and the drive in just as delightful. Hot tub and jacuzzi were wonderful! Fully equipped kitchen, great stereo, two bath, 2 rooms, 3 beds and a large sectional. Extra blankets, lots of towels, games, and very kind owners. Thank you for sharing your home!

A must!

The cottage was perfect! The location is great, the yard was perfect for our little dog and the owners have thought of everything. This is hands down the best VRBO that we have stayed at (and we have stayed at many). The response time from the owners before and during our stay was excellent. They have really gone above and beyond to create a peaceful atmosphere for a mountain stay. We will definitely return to the cottage.

Walk-in Ready

This cottage is complete with everything you'll need in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. The outdoor experience was by far the best for our pups as the field is huge. We wish we had stayed longer to utilize the firepit and grill. The hottub was such a treat even in 4* weather! Bravo Cozy Cottage

Amazing Stay

We’ve been to Asheville area several times but this was our first chance to stay in Candler. First the home was spotless - probably the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed. The size was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 children). We loved our quiet evenings of stargazing and relaxing in the hot tub. James and Netty were the perfect hosts - and their suggestion to visit the NC Arboretum was one of the highlights of our stay! We would definitely visit again. Thank You!

Awesome week

This is a great place to stay. It is conviently located to the BLue Ridge Parkway and Asheville. The cottage is comfortable and very clean. The yard was wonderful for the dogs. Maxie and Molly spent their week not leashed and were able to enjoy roaming.. James and Nettie are awesome hosts. Their attention to details (new floor is beautiful) made for a great and relaxing vacation. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we counld possibly need. Definitely will stay again when we come back to the area.

Second Stay Here!

This property is so great for our family (Myself, wife, and 3 little boys age 4-8). We stayed here last summer, and had such a great experience we booked it again this summer. It did not disappoint, and we had just as much fun as the fist time. The property owners are wonderful and very easy to communicate with. All needs are met with ease plus some. If you need a great place to unwind after a day exploring, where the kids can roam free, this spot is it! From the hot tub, to the grilling deck, to the games in the outdoor area, the open fire pit, or the stream/waterfall on the property, this place has it all. Were looking forward to another stay here next summer!

The pictures don't do this justice.

I have never stayed at an VRBO that was this well appointed. The owners obviously considered every need and comfort of their guests from having Alexa, new cookware, a clean hot tub, and more items than I can possible list. Typically I am disappointed that the pictures look better than the real thing. This was the oopposite.

don’t use the hot tub!!

booked this vrbo for my birthday. the place itself was a great accurate listing from looking at the pictures. bed were comfy and kitchen looked clean! however, when we turned on the jets the water looked a little brown and we got out. my friends and I all had red itchy bumps all over when we got home. I went to the doctor immediately and they said it was hot tub folliculitis.

Great weekend stay

The hosts were very kind and responsive. They do live right next door, as in less than 100 feet away and the back decks and backyard is connected, which could be undesirable for some, but we didn't mind it at all, and we honestly wouldn't have even known they were our next door neighbors had we not missed the driveway when we first came in. The little apartment is well kept; the hot tub was really nice; we had access to all the things needed for cooking, watching tv, linens and towels. Not too far from downtown Asheville or some really good hiking; be sure to check road closures before you go out driving though! Very dog friendly! I would definitely stay here again but would recommend the hosts switch out the twin beds in the second bedroom for a full or queen bed so multiple couples have better sleeping arrangements.
