The house was spacious and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck viewing the lake. There were a few wasps inside when we arrived. The host immediately showed up with wasp spray. He also checked daily to see if there were any more wasps which there weren’t. If you like quiet this is the place to stay.

The summit house was spacious, clean and great for our family of 10. It is close to many attractions and far enough away from town to have to great private get away.

The property is beautiful with lots of space and privacy. The kids and dogs loved it. The house is beautiful and very clean and has many different living areas that allow for privacy.

CO getaway

Absolutely perfect cabin!! Everything about it was beautiful and perfect. Close enough to where we wanted to be and far enough away from neighbors. Everything was clean and worked great. Beds comfy, plenty of hot water and water pressure in showers!! It was great!

Mancos/ Mesa Verde trip

This was a great home for 3 couples. Lots of nice gathering areas. It's out seculed in the beautiful country.

Needs TLC. We would not have booked knowing there was no a/c on the main living level in the hot month of July. Due to smoke in the area we had to keep windows closed all day and all night. Bill sent out someone to look at it on our second day but it could not be fixed. We had to make do with box fans, not even portable a/c units. Please fix cleanliness: the grill (worst we have ever seen), sticky cabinets, the fridge, the freezer cubes were jammed, the washer had questionable dirty dishes, utensils in drawers had to be cleaned and organized, stiff thin towels (need to retire to rag bin) , supplies should not have to be asked for, washer smelled - had lipstick and coins in boot, dryer lint was full, trash was over full, had to ask to empty, kitchen table grooves had dirt and crumbs, some windows no shades, primary has a green security light that shines on the bed, upstairs bed tilted and has dip in the middle and no shades, bath fan does not work, windows had prints - human and dog, deck had over grown shrubs encroaching and blocking view, microwave and oven dirty, and too many dead bugs in window sills (like a quick vac would be nice before arrival). On the plus side we enjoyed the deer and turkeys, the peacefulness, the spaciousness of the house, the upstairs a/c worked, the wide nice stairs, the covered parking, the spare lightbulbs, and the spare batteries for the lock. Thank you for responding to our request. It just needs some extra attention for future renters.

Fantastic Home and Property

My kids loved the home and playing on the large property. Often, cabins feel dirty from being in the woods, but this home was very clean and didn't feel like you were in the woods other than the incredible views.

Family getaway

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Very spacious, clean, peaceful and convenient to all the places we wanted to go. If I was a painter, I would have painted the view from the back of the house. We will definitely return at sometime!

Lovely views in a comfortable, beautsetting

We spent a week at this property and enjoyed the fresh air, comfortable home and location. It is near Cortez and Mancos for access to kitchen supplies and any other needs you may have. The sitting areas are spacious and allow for gathering and separation as desired. Highly recommeded for families/friends coming together to enjoy the area.

360 Beautiful!

The property is well maintained and extremely clean. The views in all directions are amazing. Quiet and calming atomsphere. Work up every morning with herd of deer in the yard. Overall a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this place.

Secluded and stunning views

My family spent a few days here while visiting Mesa Verde National Park. Location was close to the park. The house is rustic and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. The tree swing was a big hit with the kiddos. We would come back!

Summer Sanctuary

Very peaceful and beautiful property. We loved cooking on the gas stove and all of the windows. Air conditioning was not needed at all. There was a nice collection of books and activities. The beds and furnishings were comfy.

A magical place

This was our 3rd year coming to this magical cabin. The water was very high this year creating more of a beautiful landscape. The property is in a great location between Mancos, Dolores and Cortez. Wonderful hiking all around. The owners are wonderful and very quick to respond if there are any issues. We feel very blessed to be able to share in this cabin.

Great secluded time

This place was great. It has a large amount of land so it was very private. It was nice to be able to let the dogs out without having to make sure they weren’t going to bother anyone. It has a lake that you can walk down to and there is a little tee pee there. The deck was nice to sit on and enjoy the views. It was clean and had a good set of dishes and pots and pans. It was a great place for our family getaway.

AMAZING!!

This property has GREAT finishes throughout!! Make sure you stay up late on a clear night to do some stargazing and go ride the Durango Silverton Train up and back!!! Well worth it!!

Peaceful and Beautiful

We enjoyed our one week stay at this VRBO property. With 10 people (ages 5, 10, 12, 14, 16, 19, 40s x2, and 70s x2), it was at times a bit tight. However, it did work out well and the family spent some good quality time together. The weather was lovely and the property was very well kept up.

Wonderful Lakeside Getaway

Absolutely the best of everything. Beautiful views, an assortment of wildlife, fun floating on the lake, fishing and relaxing on the deck. The amenities, especially the air conditioning on warmer days took comfort to the top. The master suite was perfect and other family members were happy with their rooms. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us.

Fantastic cabin, fantastic views!!

The cabin was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We had zeros issues while we were there. Our group was made up of 3 guys and we used the cabin as a base camp for an elk hunt in the San Juan national forest. It was wonderful to come in to a hot shower and soft bed after hiking 15 miles all over the mountains. I would absolutely stay here again.
