Check in was simple, the yurt was super cozy and clean, the town and the locals were very friendly, waking up to the sound of ducks was a joy, along with being greeted by the owners sweet black lab! I wanna come back with my kids and explore more!

Amazing Stay!

The yurt waa super cute, clean, had an amazing view and comfy beds! Great for a quick 1 night stop across country, but would've loved more time there.

Fun Place to Stay!

Beautiful town and property! The yurt was fun to stay in and my husband really loved the porch and Blackstone grill. The owner is very friendly and gave us duck eggs.

Great Stay

I and my two adult sons came for a week to this area for the first time for the 3rd Rifle Season. Loved it, was central to all our off road/hiking adventures. Clean and comfortable making our stay really a memorable one… will book again!

We had a great time at the yurt!! It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Best beds ever! Tucked away out of the fray, it was a great opportunity to disconnect from the digital world. Totally recommend this little gem!!

Great stay in the yurt

The yurt is cozy, clean and beautifully furnished. The wifi worked great! We enjoyed the town of Mancos as well. The yurt was a lovely place to come back to after a long but awesome day at Mesa Verde National Park!

Long weekend in SW CO

Loved our stay at Scrappy Duck Yurt. Our toddler especially loved the ducks. The yurt itself was clean and had every amenity you could need. Would stay again and definitely would recommend to others to stay!

Relaxing family getaway

We had a wonderful time at the yurt on Scrappy Duck Farm. It had everything we needed, and it was so nice to NOT have a TV for a few days. The view and sunsets were stunning, the sky was clear so we could see so many stars, and the owners were very friendly.

Very BEAUTIFUL location, very clean facility, the drive getting to and from the Yurt was/is a little difficult for individuals on motorcycle(s)..

Nice getaway!

It was a beautiful location! Much more spacious than I thought. Super clean! & It had everything we needed. Also the sunset views on the deck were amazing! The ducks were super cute too!

Amazing property!

We loved this property! The location was so beautiful and peaceful we didn’t want to leave. The yurt itself was very clean and organized and had everything we needed to make meals and stay warm and cozy at night. Sitting out on the deck watching the ducks, listening to the birds, and watching the sunset was soul refreshing. We’d definitely stay here again if in the area! Love the yurt at Scrappy Duck Farm!!

Beautiful Setting

We can now say we stayed in a yurt…a very roomy, clean and well furnished yurt! It was fun. We did hear the coyotes singing and the ducks quacking. The sunset and the stars were amazing.

Great Stay!

Everything was wonderful! The night sky was awesome through the skylight. Perfect location for our stay. Mancos had some wonderful restaurants. Beds are comfortable, big bathroom, temperature easy to control. Only concern was some of the "construction" supplies left around property. I would definitely come back!

The McClure family goes out of their way with communication to make you feel at ease and confident while staying. The place is clean, and the stars are amazing from the porch on the side of the yurt. If you ever want to stay in a yurt (as we did) this does not disappoint. Just make sure they have coffee as we missed out on that feature.

What a delightful stay! The yurt was cozy, well-equipped, and stargazing from the top bunk was magical. Craig and his family were communicative, friendly and made sure we were all set for our short stay. You can hear cows and ducks at night — charming to me, slightly less so to my light-sleeping husband. Still, we’d come back in a heartbeat and happily recommend the Scrappy Duck Farm. It's nearby Fenceline Cider in town and a short drive to Mesa Verde (we could even see the yurt using binoculars from the peak). Guess it’s official… we’re yurt people now!

Great family rental

Property was nice. The yurt was beautiful inside and out. You can tell alot of care went into creating this space. Many creature comforts were available. Stocked kitchen equipment. Full tea and coffe bar. The 3 heating options were perfect and kept us warm the entire time. Definately a place to visit.

Great Yurt

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The yurt was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Truly impressed. I would highly recommend. Our only regret was not having enough time to spend at the yurt! We were too busy hiking to really enjoy the amenities.
