Completely remodeled 1 bedroom and 1 beth located on Main St in Downtown Foresthill. The Cottage can sleep a maximum of four. The bedroom has one queen bed and the sofa has a sofa bed. The bathroom has a standup shower with beautiful glass and stone shower in the border. The cottage has a full kitchen with a stove , microwave, and refrigerator. The Cottage is in town and in walking distance from most wedding sites and local fun. We have WiFi!

Pioneer Getaway

It was Perfect for a mini getaway to Foresthill . to see family . There were a few hiccups checking in but Wendy the host was on it to get things right back on track . We recommend this property . We definitely will be back !

Close to wedding venue

My cousin got married at Forest Hill Lodge, and we found this cottage to stay at. It was the perfect location! Literally 500 feet away and we didn't have to worry about driving the windy roads back to a hotel. The space was perfect for me and my husband, nice and clean, and had an air conditioner. The only issue we had was that the given information for the wifi connection was not accurate, but we had full internet on our phones, so it wasn't a big deal for us.

The directions listed behind hair salon, that needs to be updated. Cute but picture of site must be old. Very clean and close to wedding venue. We could get the WiFi or tv to work and had to use our Netflix account. Wasn’t a handicap friendly entrance. Very quiet and comfortable bed.

The cottage was perfect! It afforded us the privacy & convenience that we needed. We were attending a wedding at the lodge & I was so happy to have my own place, my own bathroom-which proved prime for my boyfriend who needed ADA. Despite the heat outside, the A/C was quite adequate to keep us cool.

Stayed for a wedding weekend

Perfect if you have need a place to stay for a wedding at the forest lodge. Walking distance from the cafe for breakfast and the venue so no need to worry about driving.

Quiet hideaway

Quiet and quaint home. All the amenities for a getaway from the city. The home is tucked away so look for the address closely. Would recommend and stay again if available

Relaxing Getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed in the cottage for 4 days, and had a nice relaxing time. The place is equipped well and had a great selection of movies. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Sleeps 2 adult and maybe 2 kids. Parking should be explained. Heater filter needed to be cleaned. Nice bathroom and kitchen.

Keep it simple

Not easy to find the gravel driveway between 2 Main Street buildings but property was just as described. Keybox code worked perfectly. Tidy/tiny old home with all ya need for a short stay. My husband missed regular NBC,CBS,ABC but Netflix worked fine. Nothing special but all okay for us. Be careful not to block neighbors' parking areas.

This was a nice, clean, quiet bungalow that offers an affordable stay in the heart of Foresthill. Check in was easy and there are a couple of eateries within a very short walk. There was a clean kitchen area and refrigerator, and the IGA market is a mile or so down the road. The queen size bed is comfortable and the bathroom is updated and clean. No odd scents or smells in the house and the WiFi works great. Only negative is that there is not much in the way closet space or a dresser to unpack your suitcase.

I was hoping the negative reviews would be inaccurate but I’ve learned my lesson, will listen to reviews in the future. True - Spider webs are in more than a few corners/areas inside the house. True - There is a lot of hinges/doors that do not seal, thus letting in air or spiders. They do leave you some off on the fridge incase you need it! True - Everything inside is very old. except brown couch. Curtains look like they haven’t been changed or cleaned in a very long time. Butcher block counter is nice, butcher block head board not so appealing but comfortable. Foundation of house seemed tilted. Felt like I was slightly leaning towards the West Coast the entire time I was in the house. Parking not great to get in and out of, area looks very run down, empty lot in back of cottage looks like dump yard. It is a studio, I wouldnt say cottage. It is a place to stay and that is it. I reached out to owner, via VBRO prior to arrival to see if we could arrive a little early. Owner never responded which to me is not great host etiquette. I did find my own answer, however, a response would have been nice. Would not rent again.

Small but comfortable. Had everything we needed. Top bathroom door hinge was separated from door as screws had worked out from old door. I contacted property owner and communicated. She was great. We would rent again!

Glamping...not!

If you are looking for a cabin and nothing more, this is good for you. If you want quaint this is not for you. Spider webs under the drapes and around the space, floors slope, things creek and everything is very very old.
