This charming home is perched on the hillside of Summerland - blocks from restaurants, hiking trails, antique stores, boutiques, coffee shops and best of all... a short walk to Summerland Beach and Park. King bed downstairs, full size bed in main upstairs living area. Patio; washer/dryer; full kitchen with full size fridge, coffee maker, BBQ, blender, microwave, oven, range; linens & towels provided, 2 flat screen televisions. Ideal for a couple, families.

Easy and comfortable getaway spot

We enjoyed our time here, the house has everything you need in terms of basics and our stay was comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. Nothing fancy and no frills, but clean and quaint and very reasonably priced as a result.Should note that it is not truly a stand-alone place, as the back patio area is shared with a separate, but connected unit.

Sweet space

Summerland is a fun town & this property is in a great location. We were visiting family living in Santa Barbara and it was close & easy to get there. The house is cozy & welcoming on the inside…... just realize, as stated, you are sharing the outdoor area and laundry facilities with others.

Great visit

We had a great visit. The location is very convenient in Summerland, with close proximity to Santa Barbara and Carpinteria. The home was quaint and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked. We would stay there again.

We love the house and our stay. Our nephew got married in the area and so glad we stayed her in lieu of a hotel. We enjoyed the barbeque and had a few friends over. It was so much fun. We walked down to the beach each morning and soaked in the beauty. A perfect place and area with the beach in walking distance. Loved the hill to get in a workout. Thank you so very much. Great location-walk to beach and restaurants

Great setting, comfortable space and beds. Clean. Easy check in and departure. Good WiFi. Beautiful views and easy walk to town and the beach. Only thing to note is road noise from Hwy 101, but it’s unavoidable in Summerland, it seems. Location is great. Easy access to Santa Barbara, Montecito. So much to do in the area. We had a great visit!

Delighted to return

We spent a few days here on an earlier trip and knew right away that we wanted to come back. The cottage has a wonderful view of the ocean and is a comfortable place to read, cook, and relax. Everything is very clean, and the beds are comfortable. Our daughter was sorry to leave at the end of our stay.

Weekend getaway

Great location everything is so close restaurants,coffee shops and you can walk to the beach in five minutes also have all the amenities that we where looking for, Definitely will stay in this cottage again.

My favorite place

This was our 7th visit to the Summerland Cottage. It fits my husband and I perfectly. I love everything about the location and the beach cottage. We feel like we're coming home.

Great Place

We stayed at this place for 2 nights and it was perfect for us. Amazing location right near town and walk to Summerland beach took us 5 minutes. Very close to downtown Santa Barbara and adorable setup inside. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely pet friendly place in a fantastic location! We walked to the neighborhood beach every day!

The perfect beach getaway

My friends and I have stayed at this lovely cottage two years in a row now. It's in a great location to walk to all the Summerland businesses and beach, and a very short distance to SB! We hope to be back!

Lovely stay!

This Summerland beach cottage is everything as advertised. The house was perfect for 2 couples - very cozy and all the amenities we needed. Perfect location to be able to walk into town and enjoy Summerland, and an easy drive to anything Santa Barbara. The host Ian was also a great communicator and provided a lot of really good local recommendations. Overall would highly recommend!

Great ocean view

We really enjoyed the town of Summerland. This property is a bit quirky but we liked it for the most part. Front door opens to king size bed...then some very steep small stairs take you to the main living area and bathroom. Very clean and the views can't be beat! Would definitely stay again.

The most special home in the the most special town

We loved this home. Every inch oozing with charm. The location was gorgeous with easy access to the beach, food, and shops. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone seeking a unique escape a little off the beaten path.
