This stay went above and beyond my expectations. I wanted to surprise my Fiancé with a special mountain vacation, and this cabin was the right choice. The secluded location, the amenities ( the hot tub pavilion overlooking the forest is amazing), and overall atmosphere made our stay a memorable experience.This is one of those trips where saying it was a "once in a lifetime experience" is appropriate, but we will be coming back!

The property was beautiful. Absolutely peaceful and secluded. There’s a steep trail right off the property. It’s not well marked, but if you have experience hiking and navigating (and have a gps device like a Garmin watch) it is so convenient and gives a good challenge. My husband and I enjoyed hiking Grayson Highlands and went into town for dinner at the Wooden Pickle. The hot tub felt really good on our sore muscles after a long day of hiking. It was such a great weekend to relax and reset. We didn’t want to leave and plan on coming back!

As always, this property never ceases to thrill us. It is so beautiful. We saw a hawk, deer, a black snake. It was just an amazing weekend and sitting under the porch while it rains is nirvana.

This was our third visit to this lovely cabin. It’s always a peaceful place to rest, relax, and unwind while enjoying all the hiking, biking, and views the area has to offer. It’s a perfect couple’s retreat.

Fantastic property as advertised. The best part is just sitting on the porch and enjoying the quiet if you want to unplug. Great couples retreat with privacy and a cozy setting.

This place was absolutely stunning and perfect for a chance to unplug and unwind. The setting was beautiful and totally secluded but it felt very safe. The cabin had all the necessities and was decorated beautifully. Sitting out on the porch listening to nature and watching deer, turkeys, and a fox was great fun. We were also visited by a small black bear during the nights. We did a lot of hiking at the nearby State Parks so coming back to the hot tub and outdoor daybed was a real treat. So peaceful and relaxing. Our Host, Ryan was great to deal with before and during our stay. He was quick to call and help us find the property when we got a little turned around. There is little to no cell service nearby so guests should be prepared to have written instructions for directions and entry procedures. The only suggestions we had were that there should be some sort of sign or markers at the bottom of the driveway. We also wished there had been a toaster and a kureig machine but we got along fine without. Overall a tremendous experience at a great property. Couples looking for a reconnect trip should not mix this one.

This was the absolute perfect getaway! So peaceful, beautiful and remote. The cabin was perfectly appointed, gorgeously designed, and an absolute treat. Cannot recommend enough.
