At the heart of the Marais, 100 yards from Picasso museum, live in a sun drenched and quiet apartment with a view of the rooftops of Paris. On the 4 floor of a 19th century building, with an elevator, find charm and sophistication thanks to the antique furniture and art. The living is flooded with light, the kitchen is independant. The bed room is elegant with a large and confortable queen bed and the bath-room has a large shower You will find all the amenities to feel confortable and information to discover with pleasure and easely the district.

We loved Daniel's pleasant, comfortable, and elegantly decorated apartment in a great location within Le Marais. Daniel gave excellent recommendations regarding the vast array of exceptional local food establishments and restaurants, all within a few, very walkable blocks. Daniel's apartment is clean, well stocked with a much appreciated washer and dryer. The bed is comfortable and the linens are very fine. We look forward to returning.

The location could not be better for anyone coming to Paris to visit historic or arts museums - or attend Paris Design Week, as we did. Is is walking distance to just about everything one wants, needs or plans to enjoy. The apartment is quiet, safe, secure, and only 1-2 'blocks' from any services one might want or need...and a whole lot more.The owner is charming, gracious and very helpful. His guide book to the apartment and neighborhood is thorough, even comprehensive.We look forward to booking this aprtment again next year - for twice as long a stay.

This is a classy and elegant apartment located in Le Marais. It is clean, well stocked and has everything one needs (except for air conditioning) including 2 fans which move the air around nicely. The bed is comfortable and the linens are high quality. Daniel is one of the best hosts we've ever encountered. We look forward to returning.

Super Stay in the Marais

My wife and I had the best time at Danny's apartment in central Paris. Everything we needed was there to make it a comfortable and relaxing stay while not out exploring the city

This was one of the best experiences of my time renting from VRBO. Communication with the owner, Daniel, was outstanding. The apartment was in a great part of town. Everything was exactly as advertised in the listing. We were there for a week and it was perfect!

Our host Daniel was very helpful and responsive. Apartment was comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. Location was convenient to Notre Dame and The Louvre with a reasonable walk. Bus and Metro nearby for more distant destinations. Several restaurants within a few blocks.

Wonderful Stay In Paris

This is a wonderful little apartment that matches the artistic nature of Paris itself. We were very comfortable (good bed) and the apartment had all the necessities for a nice weeklong stay. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great apartment in the Marais

We very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The apartment is perfect for a couple visiting Paris. It is comfortable, and located within walking distance of many tourist attractions in central Paris, and a short walk to metro stops to reach other areas.

Charming apartment

This is the most charming hideaway to enjoy Paris. The location is wonderful with Metro stations close by and a plethora of cafes and shops. Daniel was wonderful to work with and excellent communicating with us.

There are abundant shops and eateries nearby. The kitchen was small but adequate for two people. The host, Daniel, was most gracious. The only drawback was the lack of a separate table for reading and writing. The small table available had to function as both a dining area and a place to deposit books, papers, and chargers for phones and other devices. However, that was not a very serious problem.

Annual return

Our second year in a row and just as good if not better than last year. As indicated in last years review, we have visited Paris annually for years. The location, comfort, cleanliness of the apartment and hospitality of the host outpaces any other place we have stayed. We will return once again next year.

We are a couple who stayed at this property for 10 days in November. Daniel is a great host. He met us upon our arrival, showed us the ropes, promptly left us to enjoy everything, and made the exit easy. The property is described accurately, quiet, has a lift, and is in a good location for exploring the Marais (near the Picasso Museum). Washer-Dryer a plus after traveling for 10 days, staying in hotels, and living out of our carry-ons. Posted wih thanks by a traveler from California.

We lived like locals

The apartment’s amenities made us feel at home. All we needed was in walking distance. We shopped at the markets and were able to enjoy their amazing products in her apartment. Restaurants and cafes were excellent. The apartment was just as described . Daniel was a helpful host. We can’t wait to return

Charming and beautiful apartment

We adored this apartment, so well located and appointed with the highest quality furnishings and linens. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. It was a pleasure to meet the owners daughter, and correspond directly with the owner - a nice personal touch very different from dealing with a management company. We felt like guests in a friends home We look forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay in Le Marais

We adored this apartment. The layout was perfect for the two of us. Daniel was a conscientious and welcoming host. As described, the apartment was located on an upper floor and filled with sunlight. We appreciated the tiny elevator that took us there! We loved the neighborhood. Having stayed in this area before, we were delighted to revisit all our favorite spots and discover new places.

Hope to return

This was a fabulous apartment in a fabulous neighborhood. Easy access to the Metro, to the museums, to restaurants and to food shops. We walked basically everywhere -- though most people might not want to do that but it was doable and enjoyable. Liked the vibe of the neighborhood and the brightness and organization of the apartment. Owner very gracious.

Compact and comfortable apartment in excellent location!

This affordable apartment had absolutely everything we needed for a wonderful 8 day visit to Paris. Although small, it is well designed, with plenty of storage and closet space, and the big windows let in plenty of light. We had to arrange for a late arrival, and Daniel’s daughter Maureen kindly met us there to orient us and provide the keys. Daniel has compiled a comprehensive resource binder with helpful info about the apartment and the neighborhood. We highly recommend staying here.

The Perfect Place to Stay in Paris!

The apartment was wonderful! The location was perfect for walking to all of our favorite sites. There are great restaurants, cafes, and lots of shopping nearby. The area felt very safe. The apartment had plenty of room and amenities so that all of my needs were met. The bed was so comfortable I slept great every night. Daniel was awesome with the communication and having me greeted upon my arrival. I appreciated the recommendations and tips he left for visitors. It made my 1st trip to Paris one that exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to come back and stay here again! Merci beaucoup!

Wonderful Apartment in Le Marais

This apartment is perfect for a long stay. Daniel, the owner, is the most welcoming host. He's provided everything to make yourself at home and was excellent in communicating with us both before we arrived and checking to make sure we were settled. His recommendations on local eateries were spot on. Merci beaucoup Daniel. The location is wonderful, easy walk to the Franprix market, restaurants, boulangerie, Metro and bus lines. The apartment is half a block from the Picasso Museum as well as other great museums we had not yet seen. We will definitely stay here on future visits to Paris!

Wonderful Paris Apartment

We have visited Paris almost annually for the past 20+ years, staying first in hotels and more recently apartments. This experience from meeting Daniel at the apartment, to the location and the apartment itself was first class. The apartment is perfect for 2 people. It is exceptionally clean and well laid out. There is a large shower and plenty of closet space. Overall it is probably the nicest of any of our past lodgings. We will return next year and hopefully many more years in the future. Our stay at this apartment was wonderful! Daniel was very responsive to all of our questions. We were right in the heart of the Marais…close to the Picasso museum, Rue des Rosier, Musée Carnavalet, and a 10 min walk to two metro lines. The apt is on the 4th floor and has a small elevator which is perfect for transferring luggage and people. The apt is bright, with lots of windows and it is very quiet. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Excelente séjour

Appartement très beau, très complet, il ne manque ríen, très propre, avec un bon lit, et très calme. Dans un très beau quartier, prés de tout. Souvent on peut aller à pied, sans ça les moyens de transport sont tout à côté, si on ne veut pas marcher. Correspond exactement aux photos. L’anfitrion Daniel facilite beaucoup les choses, il est là quand vous arrivez, et pendant le séjour, vous explique tout et en plus il y a dans l’appartement un classeur avec les bonnes adresses et d’autres choses qu’on peut avoir besoin pendant notre séjour. Je recommende sans aucun doute

Since we are retired, we share out time between Paris and a nice village in the Pays Basque, South west of France, called Guéthary near Biarritz. And when we leave Paris, we rent our place and we are happy to share an apartment that we have decorated , first for us, but also with the desire to make it as elegant and confortable as possible for those who trust us and want to stay for a while in it.
