Well, this is definitely a home that you will not miss nor forget whenever you visit Cayucos. Our cheerful pink exterior home has magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean from almost ever room in the home, including the decks and loft. The home is wonderfully decorated with the greatest of care and vintage furniture throughout the rooms. There is plenty of space for outdoor activities and cooking.

The house was just as it was pictured on VRBO. It was easy to check in and has a very nice view of the ocean on the porch. We had no issues with it.

The Pink Gem is an absolute jewel of a vacation rental! The views are amazing. You can sit on the porch, in the living room, at the dining room table or at the island in the kitchen and see the ocean and sunsets! Close to great restaurants, shopping, fun activities or just walking on the beach. Nelson is quick to take care of anything you might need. This is our second time staying here and we hope to come back next year!

Pink Gem really is a gem! A little old-fashioned with many ornate knickknacks and furnishings but very clean, comfy beds, and well stocked kitchen. Lots of windows with great views. Could use a bit more shelf and closet space in the bedrooms but otherwise great place to stay for Central Coast getaways!

My wife and I met at Cal Poly Sate University in San Luis Obispo and started our family in the small town of Templeton. I own an architectural drafting company and my wife is a homemaker. We have four wonderful children. We both enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, and traveling abroad.

This specific property kind of fell into our lap. We actually purchased another property in the immediate vicinity and were afraid that if another party bought it, it would block the views from our other property, so we bought it as well. The home was in pretty rough condition but my wife has vision. With months of interior remolding, fresh paint and new decor, we have created the "Pink" gem.
