Black Bear Cabin In Gatlinburg-Family Vacations/Romantic Getaway! Owner Operated

Black Bear is a 2-bedroom log cabin located in Gatlinburg (quick, easy access- only 5 minutes from downtown) with clubhouse and seasonal swimming pool access. Located in Black Bear Falls Resort, Black Bear sits in a gorgeous wooded setting with terrific mountain views. The cabin has two king size beds along with a queen size sofa sleeper which combined can sleep up to six guests. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The cabin also includes a fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo, and a hot tub on the deck. The level driveway will accommodate 2-3 cars and there is only 1 step to enter the cabin. Black Bear's location is convenient to Food City (grocery store), Arts and Craft Community, and Pigeon Forge (including easy access to the back roads for the peak seasons). This close location sets guests close to everything making Black Bear great for a romantic getaway or family vacation.

Please note Black Bear is a NON-SMOKING AND NO PET cabin, strictly enforced.

Great place to stay away from the city but centrally located in the Smoky Mountain area. The roads are windy to get there but it’s a beautiful and quiet location.

Nice little cabin. Lots of other cabins around, we could hear others. Not as secluded as we would have liked. The furniture was not comfortable. Cushions on the couches have lost their support and the rocking chairs on the back deck were hard and did not rock with any fluidity or ease. The bed mattresses were too hard for our backs and hips. The cabin was clean, but a little dark and dated.

Great stay in the middle of nature but close to civilization

Property is advertised. Very clean and lovely little cabin. King Beds were comfortable and there was good enough space for our family of 6. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and the basics.It’s a very short drive from downtown Gatlinsburg making it convenient to get to after an exhausting day at Anakeesta or a crazy rides day at Dollywood (approx 25 mins). Roads to get to the property are easy relative to the other back roads we saw. Would stay again. Peggy was available to answer all questions!We spotted black bears 4-5 times within the community grounds in our 8 day stay! That itself was amazing!

Wonderful holiday weekend.

Beautiful cabin just minutes from Gatlinburg. We we're there for a weekend event at the convention center. Hot tub is always nice. Hope to be back again soon.

Excellent place to stay

We absolutely loved the cabin. Very nice and enjoy sitting out on deck of the evening. We actually saw a gear while we sat on deck and the squirrels that played in the trees. Loved the hot tub. Hated to leave enjoyed it so much. Beds were very comfortable. Will absolutely rent one again when we go down there. Always went to hotel but not no more. So easy to reserve one of the cabins as well. Thank you for the perfect directions to the cabin as well.

The pull out bed was awful!! sleeping on the springs. furniture needs to be replaced and the hot tub was gross. the deck floor very dirty. skimped on household products.

Great Getaway in the Great Smokey Mountains

This was our first visit to Gatlinburg and the cabin was perfect for our family of 3 (all adults). It was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities that one can ask for.The owners respond quickly to any questions that you may have. Check in was very easy and the cabin was well stocked with cooking equipment and the washer and drier worked as expected.The cabin is far enough away from downtown Gatlinburg but not too far. There is a nice Food City grocery store a short distance from the cabin as well. Everything was within a reasonable distance including Pigeon Forge. We thoroughly enjoyed eating lunch at the "Split Rail Eats" restaurant on the outskirts of Gatlinburg in the opposite direction of down town. The food was incredible and the staff friendly and accommodating.All in all we had a very pleasant experience with the rental of the cabin and will return in the not too distant future.

We love how we could just go to the cabin without going to an agency for arrival. We had no problem with the entry. The cabin was very clean and neat. We loved the location. We will differently stay there if possible on our next trip.

Black Bear Falls Resort kept the natural beauty and added ponds and cascading waterfalls. While our kids have enjoyed swimming in the pool, one of their most favorite activities is feeding the fish and ducks. Our whole family enjoys walking around the community keeping track of all the wildlife we see.
