Enjoy your relaxing Keys Vacation in YELLOWTAIL BUNGALOW (PLR2019-00357) This newly rebuilt / renovated CBS private home in convenient neighborhood close to shopping and local attractions.

With a bath for each bedroom this 3 Bed/3 Bath sleeps 6 in beds. A Master Suite that is decorated as an 'undersea fantasy' boasts a large bathroom with huge grotto shower with 13 shower heads. The King Bedroom has a private bathroom with jetted tub. The Twin bedroom has (2) Twin beds and serviced by a bathroom w/shower.

Great way to start off the winter season!

Amazing place with all the amenities! The jacuzzi and pool were just what we needed for some R&R with amazing views of the Gulf from the sun deck! Looking forward to coming back soon

Marathon vacation

This is such a great house to vacation in. It was well appointed and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and especially loved the pool and all of the features. Beds were comfy as well as the living room furniture. Hope to come back next year!

Great property and great stay!!

This was a great vacation property. Extremely clean when we arrived. Great access for our boat and just a very enjoyable time. Highly recommend and we will probably be staying here again sometime.

Great Stay! Great Response!

My husband and I stayed here for our first trip to the Florida Keys and the house did not disappoint. The property was very clean and the furniture comfortable. The A/C worked great and the backyard was a great oasis. Charles was great at communicating and even had solar lights for the pool delivered while we were there. We would definitely stay here again!

Top notch rental. Everything as advertised. One of the better rentals we’ve had in Marathon. 22’ CC had no problems getting in and out during any tide. Will definitely be back.

Great vacation

Great location loved everything about the property just a few minor issues the pool lights dont work the pool has a significant leak and has to be filled often the master bedroom ceiling fan is inoperable minor things but still worth mentioning

Definitely a 10/10!

The location was amazing, the canal was literally a block from the Gulf, perfect for lots of boating activities. Spent a fair amount of time relaxing in and around the pool for the week with friends. This house was exactly what we needed!! We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Awesome Time

House was absolutely amazing! Wonderful decor, clean, well stocked, pool, and jacuzzi , with the waterfalls, were so beautiful. Boat dock was great, built in live well was great. Caught numerous mangrove snapper right off the dock, easy in and out with our boat, bait freezer and ice machine were a huge help. Saw 3 Manatees in the canal all the time! Definitely will stay there again! Loved it ! Had a blast !

Perfect Paradise

This place was the perfect place to spend time in the Keys. The beds were comfortable, the location was in the center of Marathon, and the pool was amazing! They truly thought of everything with all of the little details and amenities. I wish I could give it more stars!

Marathon Beauty

Our stay in Marathon was great. Perfect house. Mr. Brown was a great host - quick responses to all of our questions. The house is beautiful. The VRBO description does not do it justice. Location was great. The house is close to the small Marathon airport but noise was not an issue. The pool/hot tub was perfect. Décor and amenities top notch. We would highly recommend staying here.

We had a blast despite the weather

We really enjoyed our trip even though the weather didn't cooperate. It was cold and rainy and we didn't get to catch our fish but we found several fish markets and ate some of the best home cooked meals ever. We had stone crab claws that we hadn't eaten for 30 years. And we found dry aged hand cut syeaks at Fish Tales that were the best I have ever eaten. We had all we needed and had a great time. We would love to rent again.

Amazing week!

This was the perfect property for 3 couples. The floor plan is great and very conducive for folks to be gathered in the kitchen area. The beds are more than comfortable and rooms were very quiet. We spent most of our time outside relaxing in the amazing pool and watching sunsets from the sun deck. There are plenty of seating options outside for folks to be in the sun or in the shade under the tiki hut. The neighbor George and his dog Penny are a complete delight. The owner Charlie was easy to get ahold of and communicated throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property as it is centrally located to everything yet tucked away in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We can’t wait to go back!

House in Marathon

The house was beautifully decorated and CLEAN! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans etc. We loved the pool and hot tub and being able to dock our boat in the canal for EASY access to the ocean. The back yard is fenced in which was awesome for our dog. The shower in the master suite was AMAZING. The house is very close to the boat ramp, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. The only small concern we had was that the mattress in the master suite bowed in the middle, not being very comfortable. The owners were pleasant to deal with and we would definitely rent again! Thanks!

Wonderfully unique property

We so enjoyed this property that we've booked it for 2025 and hope to continue to do so annually. Since it is located in Marathon it is conveniently located to any amenity you might require and its central location in the keys means that it's a relatively quick trip to other keys including Key West. Quite different from the more typical, generic character of VRBO rentals in the Keys, this place indeed has its own unique character and charm as the photos suggest. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, accommodating my wife's sons and daughter-in-law worked very well. Also, the kitchen is very well supplied with anything you would need for meal preparation (we cook rather than going out to eat all the time). The pool is the perfect temperature and is surrounded by ample and very usable hardscape, furniture, and a fun tiki hut. Situated on a canal just a short way from open water, the dock could handle a boat but also worked for our kayaks. In summary, this is a great place to stay in the Keys. Highly recommended.

Quiet & Peaceful Room for Family & Friends

From the outside the house looks small, but as soon as you walk in the house is open and airy and very spacious. Every room had its own bathroom which was nice. The master bedroom was unique with the murals, it reflected being under the sea. The shower in the master bedroom had so many shower heads you could use a different one for each shower, but my absolute favorite was the rain head; I want one of these in my bathroom. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking a meal. I loved the pool area. It was very private even though you were on the canal. The waterfall in the pool made the experience even better; kids will love it. I used the pool every day, and I think I was able to talk my husband into putting one at our home. I love the place so much I wanted to stay another week. I would definitely stay here again.

Unique, comfortable and great location.

We have been visiting the Keys for over 35yrs and have stayed in many different houses. This one ranks near the top! It has a very unique remodeled water theme. Especially the grotto shower in the main bedroom! The location puts it very close to shopping centers, bait shops and restaurants. The pool and sun deck was where we spent most of our time while at the house. If you bring a boat, the public ramp is right around the corner. And there is plenty of space to park a trailer at the house. The dock can handle a 30’ boat and is easy access to the gulf waters. The house could use a door leading to the bathroom in the main bedroom and some curtains covering the glass panels along the back of the house. But our overall stay experience was excellent and the owners were quick to respond to any questions we had.

This home was magnificent! All the extra touches and supplies (kitchen especially) were unexpected.

I wish we had reserved two weeks. We didn't want or need to go anywhere, this home is so comfortable and well thought out. Neighbor's are great on the street and across the canal. I could go on and on about the amenities and beautiful decor. We did have an incident when our 18 year old chiwheeny got out of the yard. He is blind and deaf. We notified the neighbors and all helped us loo for him. He was found 25 hours later, swimming for his life in the canal across the street by a resident at 10:45 at night. They rescued him by boat and walked him down to our rental. My worse nightmare lived but a great community to have found and returned him to us. George and his dog Penny live next door and are loving and fun. George immediately started texting friends and neighbors as well to find our baby. Otherwise, we would have stayed with someone (offers were made) until we found our fur baby. This rental is truly a piece of paradise. We hope to return. Thank you Mr. Brown (owner)

Best rental I've stayed at so far

Everything about this house was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone. The pool is spectacular. I don't know why anyone would want to stay at a resort when you can have this all to yourself. The canal is right there, with a great view from the sun deck. I did a little bit of fishing from the dock and there was a kayak there for our use. There was also a tank to keep your fish or bait along with a table to clean up everything on. The master suit was beautiful, I had the best showers of my life there. It was so roomy you could probably fit 6 grown people in it, had a dozen water spouts I believe. The pics don't do it justice. There was also a heated towel rack and a heat lamp. The kitchen and living area are also wonderful. I think my most favorite part was that the glass doors between the pool and the living room open up all the way. It was awesome to be able to have it all be open. I could be making dinner, my mom was on the couch, kids in the pool, and it was if we were all in the same area. The location is also nice, we were right near the area of Marathon with all of the super markets, Sombrero Beach, and many restaurants. We took a day trip to Key West, which was about an hour away. We enjoyed it, got to visit the 6 toed kitties at the Hemingway House. It was our second time vacation in Marathon, and trip to Key West, and I think if we were to go again we would skip Key West. We find we would rather spend the time in Marathon or at our rental. Our dog had a great time here, the back was all enclosed so he was able to hang out by the pool or down on the dock. Being from MA we are amazed by how many places dogs are welcomed down there. He came to Key West, restaurants, the beach, even to the Dolphin Research Center. He really loved his vacation in Marathon. We were pretty close to the airport, but not that it was an issue. We actually had a really cool experience where there was a helicopter flying very low, doing neat maneuvers. My son and the rest of us enjoyed it. The kitchen was great, the other bathrooms were beautiful, the only complaint I heard was of the beds in the room with the twin beds. I would highly recommend getting some new ones, they were really bad. I'm thankful I wasn't sleeping in there. I had a question for the owner and got a quick reply by phone, everything was very clean. We loved it if we ever vacation in Marathon again we'll be staying here.
