A five minute walk puts you at the beach for the start of the race, sit in the front yard and watch the bicycles begin each lap, and walk 100 yards up the road to view the runners come in for the finish.

This charming four bedroom, two bath cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Lake Placid village. With one King, one queen and two doubles beds, this property is able to sleep up to eight people. There is an open floor plan in this adorable and sunny home that has been lovingly cared for and restored with beautifully refinished hardwood floors, original moldings and freshly painted throughout. Relax on the seasonal enclosed porch or in the fenced in front yard. Just steps from Lake Placid Village Main Street and venues!

Great time in Lake Placid

My friends and I had a great time visiting Lake Placid for the ECAC Hockey tournament. We love this location and have stayed there several times over the years. Can't beat it for proximity to the arena and several local establishments. Really like the improvements they have made to the property over the past few years.

My family stayed there and had a wonderful time. Walking distance to town and plenty of room to hang out at house. Great communication with owner and will definitely stay there again!

Incredible location and a great set up for a traveling family. Had everything we needed for our stay. Couldn’t figure out the TV, but that was for the best anyway!

Second year!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house. Location is perfect - walking distance to anything! House is well stocked with anything you might need. Very clean and the owners are very quick to respond. I highly recommend this listing! We will be back next year!

Lake Placid Lovely and great Location!

We had a group of six adults and one dog. Loved the charming house - and right next to the skating oval. Very convenient to town and very walkable neighborhood with a dog. House was perfect size for our for our group with 4 bedrooms, 1 bath upstairs, and living room, dining room and kitchen and another full bath downstairs. Kitchen had plenty of room for cooking and hanging out with the cook! Large entry area for our gear. Owners very responsive. Lovely place, would definitely book again.

Wedding Weekend

We had my daughter’s wedding in Lake Placid this weekend. This house was perfect for our family. It was comfortable and felt like home. The host was very accommodating and had great communication. I would definitely stay here again! Also…the location was perfect!

Second time stay

This was our second stay at this property, so obviously a winner. Listing is accurate, house is spacious, clean and comfortable, price economical for area, and location is perfect. Hopefully we’ll be back next year!

Wonderful location!

My friends and I made our annual trek to Lake Placid for the ECAC Hockey Championship. This was our second year staying at this location, and once again we really enjoyed it. The close proximity to the arena is unmatched, and the four bedrooms were spacious and well kept. Already looking forward to returning in 2024!

Mother /Daughter weekend

This was a quick weekend getaway before my daughter goes back to school. This is the third time we have stayed in this home. If there wasn’t so much to do in the town of Lake Placid, I would be just as happy hanging around this house. I cannot thank you enough for another wonderful stay!

Great getaway

This cottage is super cute and spacious....4 adults had plenty of space to hang out. Very convenient to the village! We walked daily around Mirror Lake and did a couple of shopping excursions. Close to the many activities in this area. Denise was super attentive when we contacted her with questions.

My husband and I Garry have loved Lake placid since we were young. When our children played ice hockey, we were there every year. We have a love for Lake placid.

We love where the house is located. Close to the ice rink, mirror Lake and all the shops and restaurants.

This is a great house for Iron Man. As you see one of the pictures, the bikes ride right past our house. There’s a great cheering section right across the street.
