Lake Placid Club Lake House

The Lake House is an original Lake Placid Club cottage, fully renovated in 2013 featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are 2 master bedrooms each with a king bed and private bathroom overlooking Mirror Lake. The 2 other bedrooms have 2 double beds each and share a bath. The kitchen is finished with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets and wood floors. The great room features a cathedral ceiling with a floor to ceiling fireplace (electric) and commanding views overlooking Mirror Lake. The Lake House is equipped with free high speed wireless internet, washer and dryer and an outdoor patio overlooking Mirror Lake featuring patio furniture and a grill. A/C in bedrooms only.
The Historic Lake Placid Club boasts 45 holes of Championship Golf, extensive mountain biking and cross-country skiing trail systems.
This property is operated by the Crowne Plaza Hotel and guests may enjoy our indoor pool, hot tub, fitness facilities, and seasonal private beach across the street on Mirror Lake.
We do allow dogs. Maximum 2 dogs. Pet fee of $150.00 plus tax.
We do not allow parties or events. Noise audible outside the Property (including music or loud conversation) is prohibited between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m.
While we provide an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through the first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, and anything else you may need for the perfect vacation.
CHECK IN IS 4:00PM and CHECK OUT IS 10:00AM. We will contact you on the day of arrival with the door code as soon as the rental is ready.

Great location for a group of 6 adults to explore various points in the ADK. Property was clean and as advertised, with plenty of space. A couple improvements could be made - bedding could be updated, and could use a few more items like real dishcloths, recycling bins, spare blankets, etc. Definitely spartan for the price, as other reviews have noted, but you're paying for location here.

Lake house stay

Our stay at the Lake House was quite pleasant. We went to the hockey games, which was a 10 minute walk. Everything was as expected. We had a great time.

For the price it was disappointing— minimal bedding old. One would expect a better experience. Towels were non existent- scents of room odd. Not even a keurig. Paint and wall art outdated. Could be so much better. Wow. Does not come close to some cheaper options. Did not appear cleaned.

Lake house during ESWG

The house was wonderful. Perfect for an extended family staying for ESWG! Walk into town, private yard for the dogs. Very spacious with all the necessary ammenities!

So great I don’t want anyone else to steal from us!

We have stayed in other homes and the lodge before, decided to bring our fur babies with us on this trip. This house was perfect for us - 5 adults, 1 kiddo and 2 furries. Tucked back off the main road, there is a decent sized yard for the doggies. Lake was frozen so a quick 5 min walk across the ice to main street. Plenty of parking. House sets up great for multiple/blended family & guests. 2 masters with their own bath and then 2 bdrms with a shared bath. Plenty of room for ski gear, washer dryer, towels - clean. Just all around a great place. 1 star knocked off of check in only because there was a disconnect btw VRBO and the Crown Plaza (who owns the house) - BUT - it was resolved quickly so no worries. 10/10 recommend

Perfect Location

The house is the perfect location to town and whiteface mountain if you are there for skiing. The have definitely listened to past reviews as many items were in the house. There is only one TV, but what worked out fine. House was clean, layout was great. Wonderful stay

This home was everything we expected and more! Beautiful view of Mirror Lake across the street. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Spacious and clean. Access to Crown Plaza indoor pool and fitness.

Great location, layout, and remarkably clean.

Beautiful location, views and layout of the house. Property manager was very responsive. By far the cleanest and most cared for home we have rented. We will most certainly book again :)

Another great stay

We enjoyed our first visit last December so much, that we booked again for Thanksgiving. The house is very well suited for multi-generational families. There are two master suites and the grand children had their own bedrooms. The location is perfect for all Lake Placid activities. We hope to return again soon!

Better than expected!

We were already excited about our stay but arrived late. When we woke and saw the home and it’s location on mirror lake our family’s expectations were exceeded. It was spacious and clean. The central area was great for games and gathering. Cooking and food prep was easier. The garbage and recycling was easy to manage. They even had dog bags for east pick up. The only down side was the fireplace was not usable and had a fake light instead. Otherwise great for family gatherings or a quiet getaway. Easy access to local exploration or traveling in the area.

Wonderful place.

This property is in a great location over looking Mirror Lake. It sits on a large private lot. The amenities and 4 large bedrooms make it a wonderful place for a family and/ or friends stay. Highly recommended.

Annual family trip to lake placid

This was a fantastic place for a family trip to Lake Placid. The half walk to the beach, the big yard, easy access to Lake Placid made it perfect for all. Highly recommended.

Wonderful!!

Our second year at this beautiful property and it was wonderful! The house is perfect, so spacious and clean. All the comforts of home, nearby to all the and the view is spectacular. Property management and maintenance are fantastic. We couldn't ask for more! Cannot wait to plan our next getaway at the Lake House.

We had the best time in Lake Placid. This house is located so close to town and is clean, and comfortable and the view is beautiful. Our family gathered to celebrate an engagement right on Mirror Lake. We will be back!!

Perfect set up for families

The property completely met our needs. It was spacious for our three generation family. Location couldn’t be better, close to village and if ice is frozen, you can walk across the lake to the center of town.
