Welcome to the A Loft at 108 N Main St in historic downtown Hendersonville. Built at the turn of the century by W J Davis, this 120 year old building offers you a comfortable space blending old world charm with modern amenities. This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, full kitchen, dining and living room apartment provides all comforts while visiting our vibrant town. Our walk-able downtown features unique shopping, entertainment, a mixture of eating and drinking locations, all right out your front doorstep. The apartment has it's own parking spaces (2 vehicles in tandem). Within a short drive, there are several parks, hiking and other activities. Make this your vacation home while visiting our beautiful mountains.

The A-Loft is the back unit of two condos in the building over downtown retail (Homestead Linens). Located in the heart of downtown Hendersonville across from the historic courthouse. Walk to everything downtown has to offer.

Entire apartment and parking for 2 vehicles (in tandem behind apartment). Note: On second floor with no elevator: PLEASE be comfortable with STAIRS. (Historic building)

Unique shops, restaurants, cafe's, bars, children's museum and aquarium, and all the other amenities of downtown are right at your front door. Please note that Downtown Hendersonville is active at night and Oklawaha brewery often has live music, mostly on weekends. The music is not generally heard in the bedrooms and ends at about 11:00. Easy drive to Flat Rock Playhouse & Carl Sandburg Historic site including trails and hiking.

No vehicle needed for downtown area, but a car is suggested for all the amenities and sites in the mountains. Public transportation is minimal.

Note: On second floor with no elevator: PLEASE BE COMFORTABLE WITH STAIRS.
Common building hallway has cameras. There are NO cameras inside the loft.

Our New Hendersonville Favorite!

Hendersonville has been a favorite of ours for years. We love the pedestrian-friendly Main Street with its restaurants and shops and have stayed just off Main Street before but never in such a great place. Some places rely on location and reserved parking to make up for so-so accommodations. That is NOT the case here. From the exposed brick charm to a small but comfortable kitchen with all the conveniences to a comfortable king bed, this loft felt more like a friend's vacation house loaned for the weekend than a rental.The furnishings were substantial: a beautifully broken in leather sofa and two solid chairs were great for curling up and watching TV during the rainy evenings.I can see us returning to this property for years to come.

Such a gem

This is our second visit to this amazing loft. The fact that we wanted to go back for a second visit and stay speaks to the comfort and quality. Location is perfect with access and the ability to walk to any shops or restaurants in town. It is on the main street, but totally private and quiet at night. It is easy to travel nearby hiking areas as well as Asheville. The kitchen is well stocked, the living area is relaxed and tastefully decorated to create a cozy atmosphere. Everything feels like home. The communication is great, and we know if we want to return to the area we will try to stay in this loft.

Great location in a very nice small downtown area. Live music from next door was a little loud, but didnt bother us. Host was easy to work with and provided very good communication. Thank you!

My husband & I came across this gem of a place when we were looking for something a little different than our usual rentals & we truly could not have been more pleased with our stay. The owner was super speedy with communication & he was flexible and accommodating with special requests.To say this space was clean would be an understatement. I am a neat freak, so I really appreciated how well it was cleaned and taken care of.The space has ten of anything & everything you could possibly need, it’s decorated and furnished with an attention to detail that you don’t see very often in rentals. The bed was cozy, they had beverages stocked in the refrigerator & there was a sweet treat when we arrived. They have hundreds of books to choose from! We appreciated having a washer/dryer & they had the supplies for us to do laundry. It was just my husband & I staying here, so we used the extra room/office to keep our luggage & clothes in, worked perfectly. This is a loft style space so while it’s not a huge area, it was so well laid out that we never felt like we didn’t have enough room. We had some friends over for a few hours one evening & there were 6 of us with plenty of room to entertain in the living space & the half bathroom for them to use. Location- literally could not be more ideal. You’re on Main Street so you have walking distance access to the numerous restaurants & shopping. Stairs were no problem for us. Cost was more than fair. Couldn’t recommend higher!!

Such a Gem!

Loved our stay in Hendersonville and we were thrilled with the loft! So tastefully done with a so many details to provide comfort. The location was excellent-right in the heart of town, however quiet and private at the same time. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the brewery right out the back door, as well as easy access to Asheville and a multitude of state/national parks for hiking and beautiful views. Would highly recommend the loft and hope to stay again on future visits. Everything needed was provided, communication was excellent, a list of restaurants, local sites and brochures were on hand, and the loft was even decorated for Christmas!

Great Spot on Main Street

We had a great stay right in the heart of downtown. This was probably our best rental experience. It’s a very quiet, spacious spot in the heart of Hendersonville. It’s just a short walk to all of the action.

The most charming loft in the best location

This loft is charming and in the BEST location! Walk right out the door onto Main St.! The owners are very accessible and responsive, provided excellent instructions and information for all our needs, and equipped the loft with every imaginable amenity! We will definitely return!
