Quiet and peaceful

Booked for a last minute weekend trip and couldn’t be happier, very clean and cozy, the fishing was great and the water was perfect. 10/10 will definitely visit again.

Lovely property

The property was well maintained and had everything we needed for a nice weekend. The communication with owners was exceptional. I would highly recommend this property a quiet late weekend.

Great getaway

Very good getaway. Close enough to drive to lots of things to do but secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful. Thouroughly enjoyed our time at the lake cabin.

Lovely experience

This cottage provided us with relaxation, comfort and a great experience on Lake Hartwell. The cove location is perfect for floating, kayaking and paddle boarding. Thanks for the great stay!

Great dock, views, and location. Cottage well stocked, and I mean well stocked. Host was more than awesome. We should have read the intro letter for guidance to cottage, gps does not work well. Intro letter gives all needed information for stay. We hope to come back again and try kayaking. Great stay!

Relaxing lake trip

Very cute and quaint lake home with easy lake access. Enjoyed floating in the lake. Nice outdoor spaces. Communication with host was very easy.

Super relaxed.

Beautiful, peaceful cottage. Just the right atmosphere and great access to my preferred lake activities. Quiet and calm. Wonderful. We will likely try to stay here again in the future.

Memorial Day Weekend

Very clean and well maintained property in a gorgeous setting. Only issue was what seemed to be a Frat house two doors up jamming music. They did shut it down at 11 each night though.

Cabin on Lake Hartwell

Upon entering the cabin you are aware of mold or mildew odor. Mattresses need updating, not comfortable.

Linda, There is no mold nor mildew in the cabin. I am very sensitive to that as well so we keep up with those kind of things steadily. Perhaps you smelled the brand new flooring we put in two days prior to your entry? If there was a residue from that, we apologize. Also the mattresses are all new this year. The queen bed is a firm mattress requested by many guests. Kindly, Cyd

Meets and exceeds description!

Stayed for the week of the 4th. Hosts keep a very well stocked, comfortable, and clean home. Dock area was quiet for even the fourth and there are plenty of outside spaces in the sun and shade depending on the time of day. Host was very responsive to any messages One thing, when we booked it said it had no WiFi, but the cabin DOES have WiFi and streaming access. Very important if you have teens ☺️. Thank you for keeping such a welcoming place

A Fun Vacation

We had a great time on vacation. The owners were nice and easy to deal with. The snack basket was a fun treat. The cabin was cozy and stocked with lots of essentials. We loved the privacy of the location. The kids had tons of fun, as did the grown ups. Everyone loved the kayaks and the canoe. There were plenty of floats and water toys. The only downside to the trip was that the air did not work properly our entire stay, so it was really hot, but the owners did try to have it fixed. We made do with fans, and of course, the lake was a great place to cool off. All in all, we would definitely go back.

Family oriented

This was a great little cabin for our family of 5. My hubby was able to fish his heart out. My daughter, 11 yo, enjoyed the fishing and being able to Facetime her bestie to show off the wonderful cabin. My 12 yo son (Autistic and other delays) enjoyed the bedroom (great WI-FI) for him to be content. He also went down to the dock and watched the fishing, the area is quiet enough for him to enjoy being outside (he has hearing sensitives) And lastly, my 3 yo son loved the cabin, inside and out, he loved the TV (it stayed on Disney the whole time, haha), the set up, so many chairs to sit it and stairs to climb. He also enjoy being on the dock helping with the fishing action. I loved the peacefulness between all of my crew and that they had a fantastic time. The 3 yo keeps asking to go back!! Kimmy

Cute, quaint little cabin right on the water. My teen daughter and I hung out on the dock and water all weekend and had a lovely time. The water was deep enough for her to dive, and she played like a 10 year old while we were there. The cabin itself was small and cozy, and worked well for the two of us, since just one bathroom. Couple of little things that we noticed that were not big problems - we couldn’t open the front door as it sticks, so we used the sliding glass doors on the deck to go in and out. The bathroom door doesn’t catch or lock. This was not a big deal for us, either. The great things about the cabin: the beds were clean and comfortable. The cabin had ceiling fans in each room and ac kept it cool inside. The rental came with kayaks and paddles, which my daughter used one day. And we especially loved that there were life jackets available to use. We appreciated that the owner had paper plates and utensils out, in addition to dish ware. It cut down on doing dishes! It was good to have Wi-Fi and we were able to log in to our streaming accts on the tv in the evening. The best part was definitely the dock and the water,m! The owner was very kind to check on us and make sure all was good. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us, we would love to come back!

Lake Hartwell

Cabin is as advertised. Very easy to check in. Nice amenities. We had a little difficulty finding the address, mainly bc it sets back from the road a bit. We found Cynthia to be a gracious host.

Great lake, yard and home

We loved our stay at the Quartermans'. The house is cute and quaint. Great access to the lake. Great yard with multiple and different places to sit and relax. The Quartermans were very accommodating kind and proactive. We look forward to staying again!

Great little spot on the lake

Enjoyed being right on the lake. Took the kayaks out and napped on the dock. The boys enjoyed the hunting channel on tv.

The cabin is very cozy, clean and the place is so beautiful. When we arrived we were surprised with a Friday of sweets. The owner was very kind. And everything we need utensils had in the cabin. Obs. The place is much more beautiful than in the photos..
