River Road Villas are located on the Guadalupe River, 20
minutes from downtown New Braunfels on River Road between the second and third
crossings. Enjoy the scenic cliff-side and beautiful 100 plus feet of DIRECT RIVER ACCESS right out your front door! Tube rental and shuttle service is provided next door. You can enter the
river here and exit at a variety of places up and down the river and be
returned to the property. This location is perfect for playing in the river or
just relaxing as you watch others float in the river below. Also if you enjoy
live music, the property is short drive to River Road Ice House, & Gruene
Hall. If you are a lover of antiques, the home is 10 minutes from the
town of Gruene, which provide antique shops as well as many
unique shops where artisans sell their wares. The home is also close to great
BBQ as well as several outlet malls. If you get tired of playing in the river,
'Schlitterbahn', a wonderful water park is located in New Braunfels.

This is a NEWLY CONSTRUCTED luxurious 4BR/3Bath. Open Kitchen/Dining/Living room with many amenities. Full Kitchen with dishes, all appliances and cookware
provided. 65" Flat screen HD TV w/ cable and blu ray player.
The home also has a washer and dryer.

Boating, water-skiing and sailing can be found 10 minutes away at
Canyon Lake. The drive up River Road to the lake is notably one of the most
scenic areas in Texas. Watch for deer, turkeys and other wildlife along the way!

Labor Day getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very helpful and communicative throughout the entire process! House was great, river was cold And the weather was perfect! We will definitely be back next year

We had an excellent stay! The communication was awesome and checking in was a breeze. The home was walkable to the river and tube rental/shuttle. Love staying at the River Villas.

Great River Weekend

Family river annual trip

Very very nice place. Very spacious and very clean. Clay was easy to get ahold of and called us back if he missed our call. Had a blast and would most definitely stay here again

Bug house

The master bedroom is infested with bugs. We got bitten so badly that I had to go to the doctor to get antibiotics, histamine and ointment. My husband also got bitten. The dishwasher was so badly calcified my husband broke pieces of the element. The utensils were all dirty due to the calcified dishwasher. The tables outside and downstairs have not been cleaned in a long time. The BBQ grill downstairs were disgustingly dirty. And then the neighbors were so loud at night way past 11pm, we could not sleep. This place is no good for a family- if you are there to party and having a bachelorette or something then maybe. I wish VRBO allowed to post photos of how I look like.. The owner did offer to move us to a different unit but we had so much stuff to move just for two nights was not worth it. We slept in the other bedroom. It was supposed to be a good and fun trip to celebrate my husbands 50th and did not expect to go home with multiple bites. I also asked for how he would make it right and have not heard anything from him at all. What a disappointing weekend it was.

Great family trip!!

We had a great trip to the river and enjoyed our stay here! We did have a couple issues when we got there about gate/room codes but the owner was very prompt at helping us get in!! The unit was perfect for our family group of 9!!! We had plenty of room for everyone!! The only complaint that I had was that there were some pretty rowdy neighbors in the other units, which could obviously not be controlled! I addressed this to the owner so that he was aware and he immediately responded to me! The owner was very prompt at responding to a couple other minor things that I addressed as well!! We would definitely recommend this property!!

River 2022 with friends

Was a great experience overall! Beautiful Home and amazing showers. Great location for the river. Only complaints is keep in mind where the sun sets this seemed to be the hottest house because of where the sun was and this house but easy access to river with plenty of shade down there! Didn’t know how to turn on patio door lights and didn’t think to bring to toilet paper. Over all would definitely revisit this house. Clay was amazing and a very quick responder

Great place to stay !!

Very clean and accessible to river. This is the Second time I have stayed in one of Clay’s rental properties on the Guadalupe . Definitely recommended and will be coming back .

Great River Trip

This house was perfect! The tubing rental co. next door was very easy to work with. The house was well equipped. The only suggestion is to add to the list of things to bring: toilet paper, trash bags & kitchen towels. Can't wait to go back!

Bad experience

The house was very dirty. Location really bad because it was a lot of noice the all night, its not a quiet place to relax. This place is not for family with little kids. The river very dirty.

Nice home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home! Listing was clear and as noted. Relaxing upper deck. Safe area with nice gated entrance. Floors could use a good scrubbing. Overall a great river location beside the tube rentals, although not directly on the water.

Just as advertised

Location is great for a relaxing weekend, we didn’t have to drive anywhere the whole stay. There’s a nice spot to get in the water or out a chair down. Tube rentals in walking distance. The house is as shown

Great house

We had a family filled weekend at this house that included all age groups and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of space for everyone and I especially loved that the house included a washer and dryer. There was room for the kids to play outside and the house was close to the river. The home owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon.

River road retreat

Peaceful retreat on beautiful River Rd. The whole place was great. We especially enjoyed the large 2nd floor deck. It has lots Orr room and plenty of places to sit. The bathrooms and kitchen are also a big plus!

Relaxing weekend

We needed a place to get away from our busy city life and this place exceed our expectations. The house is roomy and clean with beautiful view. And Clay is very responsive which is a great bonus.

Great stay

The house was beautiful. Everything was as pictured. We loved the showers.The stairs were wobbly and it got pretty hot at night showers. Would be our only complaint. Definitely would stay again. Oh yea Clay was so nice.

Buddy River Trip
