Situated on the edge of Blackfish Creek this 3BR 2 1/2 Bath home allows you to enjoy the ever changing sights and sounds of life on a tidal creek. On the first floor you will find a large, airy master bedroom with queen bed and attached bath. Both the open concept kitchen/dining room and spacious living room open directly to an expansive deck offering seating for outdoor dining with umbrella as well as lounge chairs for relaxing and enjoying the view. A gas grill and outdoor shower are steps away. Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms and full bath with tub/shower. One bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, the other with two twins. A 1/2 bath is located off the well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning, HD TV's, washer/dryer, wifi, beach chairs and a basketball hoop are among the many amenities. Ample parking is provided for you and your guests. You will find yourself minutes away from ocean beaches, ponds, rail trail, Wellfleet Bay Life Sanctuary and the Cape Cod National Seashore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Terrific S. Wellfleet location with view on blackfish creek (watch the changing tides…) makes for easy access to everything in both directions on Rte. 6 Short drive to Route 6 (includes a short stretch of gravel road - this is the outer cape, after all).. The house is roomy and a great layout for our family group of 5 - bedrooms, dining area, large family room and a full-length back deck (with a table), accessible from both dining room and family room. From the furnishings and visit information provided by the hosts, you can tell a lot of care went into setting up the house for guests. Best compliment I can offer is that we hope to return!

Great location with fabulous deck and view.

A friend and I have have stayed here multiple times. The property is well maintained, and the location on the marsh is great as you can watch the tide come in and out every day. It’s very pleasant to sit on the deck and just enjoy!

Though only 3 minutes off Rte 6, the setting was secluded and quiet. We spent a lot of time on the large back deck dining and chatting with visitors, listening to the birds, and observing the changing tides in the salt marsh behind the trees. Marconi Beach, Lecount Hollow, Audobon Wildlife Sanctuary, Wellfleet Center, and freshwater ponds are all less than 10 minutes away. We arrived on one of the hottest weekends of the year and were grateful that the owner had turned on the air conditioners in all of the bedrooms. The large living room had its own mini-split AC unit which made it and the adjoining kitchen/dining area comfortable at all times. (Entire house was powered by solar panels.) While we never met the owner, he responded immediately to our text and e-mail messages as were getting oriented to the house. We appreciated that bed linens and towels (including beach towels) were provided, along with beach chairs, and that commercial-size washer and dryer were there in the basement, as we had several sets of friends and relatives stay for a few days over the course of our two weeks. We visit the Outer Cape almost every summer and would be very happy to stay here again.

Spacious home with lovely deck view of Blackfish Creek

This comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, very clean, with a large deck with an open view to the marsh through the trees is a nice place to hang out and also is a good base to return to after the day's activities. The AC was very welcome in the bedrooms and living room on hot days and nights. The quiet neighborhood is accessed by a rather bumpy dirt road. The house is on a large property and feels very spacious and private.

Very nice house, conveniently located. Communication with the host was great - very responsive. The kitchen is well stocked, everything works fine. Lots of streaming and live TV options, although we didn’t get to watch much. The a/c in the common area is a split unit and works great, wish the bedrooms had split units as well - there are window units in the bedrooms, that are a little on a noisier side, so if you’re a light sleeper and it’s hot outside, keep this in mind. However, it didn’t spoil our vacation, so overall impression was very positive.

Wonderful House-Lovely and Well Appointed!

This spacious and comfortable house has gorgeous views and is in an ideal location. The house had everything we needed and more - the grill is in pristine condition, the deck is enormous, as is the family room. Our kids loved, although monopolized, the hammock overlooking the marsh. All around excellent and we'd definitely book again!

Comfort, serenity, and a beautiful view from the deck

The house is very spacious, in a secluded and lovely setting near the end of a dirt road, surrounded by trees both front and back with a beautiful and tranquil view of Blackfish Creek from the large deck. The deck was our favorite part of the house. Birds galore filled the surrounding trees and we got a close-up view of a hawk who perched nearby. The AC in bedrooms and living room was much appreciated during the hot weather. The house was also very clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. We highly recommend this house and plan to stay again.

Excellent Wellfleet Location

Very nice property with a great deck with chaises, umbrella table and chairs, and gas grill. Spacious kitchen and helpful appliances like a blender and toaster. Overall, a most enjoyable experience.

Idyllic

The house sits above a tidal marsh with splendid sunrises and lots of wildlife. Everything was as advertised or better: clean, sunlit, and spacious. A perfect place for an Outer Cape Idyll.

Great Family Vacay Spot!

I stayed here with my family and had a great time. The house is right on a salt marsh, so the view from the deck is beautiful. It's located near a bike path - and PB Boulangerie! Also an easy bike ride to Lecount Hollow Beach. Eric responded quickly to any questions. Another bonus - the house comes equipped with bed linens and towels (though the listing says that it does not). Wish I had known I didn't need to pack those! Overall a great stay.

Great house and great location

My family just returned from our stay in Wellfleet. We loved the house - it had all the amenities needed to enjoy our stay. The location can't be beat - right off of Rte 6 yet in a very quiet, peaceful location. The house was spotless - we appreciate the extra cleaning that was done prior to our arrival especially this year - we felt very safe and comfortable. The owners were very responsive, quickly answering any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again - hopefully next summer!

Perfect getaway. Close to everything yet very private and peaceful.

Our stay was the end of June. My husband, myself, our 13yr old, my mother and aunt all thoroughly enjoyed everything about our week at this lovely, clean and well appointed home. Close to biking, hiking trails, kayak put ins and swimming. The peaceful calmness of the tidal creek with it's beauty and wildlife was a nice way to relax early mornings and after our full days of activities. The owners are quick to respond and very pleasant. Definitely recommend!
