The house accommodations were excellent. Location was perfect. Pool was perfect. Sleeping arrangements for 16 people were perfect. Only down fall was waiting for check in right at 5pm on Sunday.

Sounds like your group had an amazing stay! We're so glad the home, location, pool, and spacious sleeping arrangements were a perfect fit for your group. We do apologize for the delayed check-in. While check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., there are occasionally times when additional cleaning or maintenance is needed to ensure the home is ready for our guests. We appreciate your patience and are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. Thank you for choosing Port A Escapes. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for another island getaway soon!

We loved the property and our Port A vacation. The rental had everything that a large family needed- separate spaces with a large common area for family dinners. The location was ideal and everyone loved the private pool. We only wish that we had booked it for more days!!! We will definitely be back.

We're so glad everyone enjoyed the private pool and the convenient location. And if your only regret was not staying longer, we'd say that's a pretty good sign! Thank you for your kind review—we can't wait to welcome you back for an even longer beach getaway next time!

House and location are perfect for a stay at Port Aransas. There is plenty of room and great parking. The only issue we had was notification that checkin was running behind. A simple text would have lessened the frustration. With that said we really enjoyed the house and our time there. We plan on returning next summer. Thanks for sharing your house.

We also appreciate your feedback about the delayed check-in communication. You're absolutely right—a quick text update would have made a difference, and we'll use your comments to help improve that experience for future guests. We loved our stay at 616 Sandcastle. We had 13 and the three story property fit our needs perfectly, gave us all our own room and privacy while the 2nd floor common area accommodated everyone for meals and games at the large table which was appreciated. Just a couple of blocks from the beach and the kids loved the pool. Even the maintenance people were helpful when our grandson left his wallet under a mattress. We got to the property just in time before the codes changed and they helped us locate it. Loved that the bottom floor had a separate area so the ones with kiddos had a place for them to rest. Good memories.

It sounds like 616 Sandcastle was the perfect gathering place for your family! We're so happy to hear the layout gave everyone the space and privacy they needed while still bringing everyone together on the second floor for meals, games, and making memories. It also sounds like the kids had a blast with the pool, and we're glad the separate downstairs living area worked so well for the little ones. We're especially happy our maintenance team was able to help recover your grandson's wallet. It's always nice when a stressful moment has a happy ending! Thank you for choosing Port A Escapes. We hope your family made memories that will last a lifetime, and we'd love to welcome you back again!

House was misrepresented , first floor was not described as being separate from main house , master bedroom had no privacy because door would not close . Pool was not nearly as big as the picture showed . Door hinges were not attached to door facings .

Great family vacation accommodation!

Lots of space for our multi generational family to spread out and enjoy. Close to the beach to walk it, but you would have to tear us away from the fantastic private pool in the backyard, which was nicely shaded half of the day. Great house and responsive property management! Would definitely stay here again!!
