Located in Harvey Cedars on LBI’s exclusive north end, this home is conveniently close to Sunset Park and the marina with rentals. Close to Harvey Cedars bay beach and restaurants. Amenities include air conditioning, internet, gas grill, outside shower, beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, and 6 beach badges. Seven day minimum, Saturday to Saturday from 7/4-8/30

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The owner Jim was easy to communicate with and keeps his property in perfect condition. We especially enjoyed the beaxh themed decor and being steps from the beach.

We had a great week! Host occupies the downstairs unit, which isn't totally clear from the photos or description, but this was in no way a problem. It's a unique house, and a nice departure from the generic beach-house model. My only quibble is that on very hot days, the air conditioning isn't quite up to the task of keeping the downstairs bedrooms cool. Linens and towels are provided, which is a nice bonus!

Excellent LBI getaway

Wonderful vacation, loved the deck and extremely close proximity to the beach. Jim was very easygoing and accommodating, we had a very easy stay, everything was just as great as we had hoped.

Lovely stay. Just a few houses from the beach so we are now completely spoiled. Narrow part of island so also easy to walk to bay. Host, who lives downstairs from the rental, could not be more gracious and friendly. Supplies not only bed linens and bath towels, but also beach towels, badges, chairs, umbrella, and more. Kitchen fully stocked with cookware, bakeware, tableware, glasses, utensils, you name it. If you cook you may want to bring your own spices. Unit is compact and well-thought out. Common space very comfortable. A/C is a little quirky but it works. Several high quality fans are also provided. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The house perfect for our trip to LBI. Clean, equipped and steps from the beach. Jim was a wonderful host. We will definitely be back.

Great house close to the beach

Jim is a terrific host! The house was better than advertised. Very clean and welcoming. The location is phenomenal! Jim made us feel very comfortable and we can’t wait to go back!

Sweet place right near the beach

Jim has a very lovely little apartment three minute walk from the beach. It is clean, well stocked and has a wonderful outdoor deck. I highly recommend!

Family Beach Trip

Our stay in Harvey Cedars was all we were expecting and more. The property fit our family perfectly. The location to the beach and everything we needed at the property made for a great vacation. We enjoyed walking on the bay side in the evenings enjoying the sunsets. Jim was a great host and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

We couldn’t be happier!

The owner was present and always very helpful. The accommodations were very well maintained. Cooking supplies were clean, abundant and perfect. Beach was less than a minute walk and lovely. Owner had chairs, umbrella and boogie boards for guests to use on the beach. We were very happy we made this selection.

Very nice beach vacation location

Interesting A frame design only 4 houses away from the beach. Some minor issues with washer and kitchen faucet clearly explained by the owner during check-in. Communication with the owner is one of the best strengths of this property.

My son and I loved our trip and stay at this cozy home in LBI! Jim was so welcoming as the host, and so kind and helpful to us both. He made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay and treated us like friends. The house was a perfect spot, so comfortable and very clean. It comes with great conveniences including beach passes, towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, a list of recommendations for local restaurants and activities, full kitchen and a great outdoor deck. A couple of houses down from the ocean beach and also close to a bay beach, it’s a great location for families with plenty of things to do in town/neighboring towns. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Simple, no frills, PERFECT beach vacation

We had an incredible time at Jim's property on LBI. Not only is the area extremely family friendly and easy to get around, Jim is an expert host. So welcoming, friendly and responsive. He has beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, towels etc to make the stay easy breezy. We felt like we were part of his family. I 100% recommend this property for a simple, no frills PERFECT beach vacation.

Great spot

I really enjoyed my stay here. this home was perfect for a long weekend, and I hope to return. Walkable to Neptunes and restaurants (about 10-15 minute walk). The home comes ready with pots, pans, a w/d, use of beach chairs, and the patio is a hidden little retreat. Fans, AC, and a cross breeze keep the home quite comfortable. Jim is a great host. He was very responsive to my questions and super friendly. I definitely recommend this rental.

A Relaxing Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this A-frame house in Harvey Cedars. The outside deck is definitely one of the major highlights. It is very private with comfortable seating and a nice grill for barbecuing. The bedrooms are a bit small and one is in an open loft area. The kitchen and living room area was very comfortable for our group of 5 adults and a child. Jim, who lives downstairs, was extremely helpful and accommodating. We hope to return sometime soon!

Cute A-frame At The Beach

We had a very enjoyable family week on LBI (four adults and 2 tweens). The owner was very hospitable and showed real pride of ownership in this rental. We enjoyed our meals on the deck surrounded by the beautiful flowers. This was one of the cleanest and most well-kept houses that we have stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the loft bedroom was excellent. We all made use of the convenient outdoor shower. The downstairs bedrooms were not air conditioned. We had to rely on the living room air conditioner and a fan to stay cool, this was the only negative. We would definitely rent here again!

Everything about the house and location was wonderful. We were there from Monday afternoon till Friday. Jim was very helpful and responsive if we needed help. The house is on the beach block and near 1 cafe (1 minute walking) and near the beautiful bay (5 minute walking). Life guard was at the beach. The house was very clean. The house had all the towels you would need and bedsheets and pillow cases. It also provided beach chairs and beach umbrellas.The house is on the second floor. Once you enter the apartment, you will see 2 bedrooms on that floor and a stair case that takes you up to the third bedroom which is a loft. There are 2 ACs. One in the third room (the loft) and one in the livingroom/kitchen area what will also help cool the bedrooms. For us the ACs were powerful enough that we only needed to use the it for 2 hours a day to cool the entire house. The week's temperature was about 72 to 85 degrees. In the evenings, you don't need the AC at all.From the pictures, I was worried about the slanted roof everywhere, but in reality, it was not a problem at all. Not in the dining area or the living room sofa area. The bedrooms are also not a problem. There is a spacious deck for you to sit and have a meal and to BQQ. The first time we tried, it rained on us. And our last day there, we tried again and it was a successful BQQ event. There is a deli about 3 minute drive where we bought corn cobs and meat and veggie burgers and etc.

THIS is a beach house! Close to the beach and close enough to anything you'd want to do at a beach. Jim is a wonderful host - attentive and responsive. The home has everything you'd need to cook a meal, grill out, or head down to the beach. Leave your chairs, towels, and boogie boards at home.

We had the best stay here. Jim and Debbie were both so wonderful and accommodating. They had awesome recommendations for us as well and it was just nice even getting the chance to chat with them since they were so kind! The house was outfitted really well and had nearly everything you would need for cooking in the kitchen which was great since we did make some meals. It is 3 houses down from getting on the beach too which was exactly what we wanted and needed. Plus grabbing that outdoor shower after is one of my favorite things ever. Short trip to Harvey Cedars Shellfish Company too for a fantastic dinner. Overall, a perfect stay and we will 10000% be coming back to stay with them again either here or at another one of Jim’s properties. This is a must stay!

Die Wohnung von Jim ist in jeder Hinsicht perfekt, sie ist geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Balkon mit Weber Grill ist ein großes Highlight. Das beste ist Jim selbst, er war der beste Gastgeber den wir je hatten. Wir haben uns bei Jim wie zuhause gefühlt. Top Kommunikation vom CheckIn bis zum CheckOut und super nett. Zum Abschluss durften wir sogar mit ihm und seinem Boot in den Sonnenuntergang fahren, das war super schön, danke noch einmal dafür.

A Frame in Long Beach Island

The premises were great. It was very clean, attractive and well appointed. As advertised it was steps from the beach and consisted of a lovely deck for hanging out on. Jim, the owner, was lovely to deal with and attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend.
