Our stay at Sky House/Doves Rest Cabins was amazing! The property is absolutely stunning, had everything we could hope for, and is in the most majestic location. It was truly a “WOW” moment when we walked onto the deck and saw that view of Palo Duro Canyon.The host is extremely communicative - responded immediately to any questions I had. We hope to return sooner rather than later!!!!!

The house was absolutely beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We were less than 5 minutes from the park entrance so the location can't be better. Definitely bring a telescope because the stargazing can't be beat. We will definitely book with them again.

Beautiful cabin stay near Palo Duro

The cabin itself was beautiful and the view of the canyon spectacular. Hosts were very attentive and our stay was very comfortable. Very convenient access to Palo Duro State Park.

Palo Duro Rapture

Beautiful

The house and property were beautiful and clean! The views of the canyon were absolutely stunning!! We were greeted multiple times a day by the rams. What an amazing stay!

Breathtaking views from back patio. I cannot overstate that. You are on the rim of the canyon. This could be a stand-alone destination. House very clean and correct. Very easy communication w manager and one small maintenance trip was timely with a friendly competent staff member. Highly recommend and plan on going back.

Canyon getaway

I had stayed here before and knew that I wanted to come back. Really nice cabin and GREAT view. We enjoyed the hot tub while watching the sunrise and the provided robes were a nice touch. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Gorgeous

Lovely cabin made even better by coffee, robes and outdoor hot tub overlooking the canyon. Pricey, but probably worth it for the privacy and peace and quiet. The goat visitors were always a treat!

Absolutely stunning!

The property had the most amazing views of Palo Duro Canyon! It was also VERY clean and updated and felt like the perfect oversized, luxurious cabin to stay at the canyon. Our kids said this was their favorite stop on our vacation. They even loved how peaceful it was there. Thank you!!

King and Queen of the Canyon

Our stay at SkyHouse was a wonderful experience. The specular view of Palo Duro Canyon from the back patio or from anywhere within the house (full glass in every room across the back) made us feel like the king and queen of the canyon. The location is quiet, serene, and easy to get to.

When I say the photos don’t do this home justice, it’s true! Clean, not a bad drive to town, right by the park, and an amazing view of the canyon. Private and quiet. Will be back!!!!

Beautiful Place

The view did not disappoint! The cabin was also very nice. It was very cold and so we enjoyed the fireplace. The grill did not work. All of the food that I brought was to be prepared on the grill. We called the manager and he said he would be by the next morning but he never showed up. The hot tub is nice but it does not work properly either. I was really looking forward to relaxing from the hot tub and enjoying the view. It was disappointing that we were unable to do so. Overall, it was a nice stay. It is just too expensive to have it not be as planned. We wont stay there again.

Perfect, Amazing and Breathtaking

There can not be better views in Texas! Everything was perfect from the champagne, hot tub, and robes waiting for us. The hot tub tripped a fuse and maintenance was there in 5 minutes and it didn’t happen again. Amazing service!! The hot tub was heated up and running when we got there and was perfect with breathtaking views and privacy ! They leave nothing to chance!

Long family weekend

We had a great time at Palo Duro Canyon. The house was perfectly located and all necessary amenities. Overall a very good stay.
