Located in the heart of Bend and walking distance to downtown, Newport Ave shopping and restaurants and quick warm up ride to the bike trails!

Newly built mid century ranch has 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms with a king sized hide-a-bed in the large living area. Sleeps 6. Home is 4 blocks from Newport Market and a 10-15 minute walk into downtown Bend. Just walk a couple of blocks down the hill and you'll be on Newport Ave, where you can enjoy many of Bend's west side favorite restaurants and coffee shops.

This architectural home features an open floor plan with high ceilings, towering windows and quality finishes throughout.

Living area has American Leather (highest quality) king size sleeper and cozy chairs which surround the gas fireplace and huge 60" HD TV for relaxing in the evening after a day on the trails.

Gourmet kitchen has everything you need for dining in. All brand new stainless steel appliances, great cookware, Vita-mix for your morning smoothie and more..

Dining room has seating for 6. Sliding doors which go out onto covered patio for kicking back after dinner and relaxing on the back patio...Back patio has lounge chairs for 6 and a commercial grade gas barbecue.

Quality furnishings make your stay in the Portland house as comfortable as possible.

Huge master bedroom has brand new king sized bed, high thread count bedding, walk in closet and sitting area. Off the master bedroom is a large master bath.

The second bedroom has vaulted ceilings, large closet and new queen sized bed with high thread count bedding.

This is a brand new home, located on Bend's west side and close to everything. You can truly park the car and walk everywhere.

Phil's trailhead is about a 15 minute warm up ride.

NW Portland is a great location, close to food and easy to access mountains and trails. A peaceful home, where two deer came each day to hang out briefly in the back yard. And always clean and tidy!

We had an amazing stay at Paula’s home in Bend. She was so accommodating by providing a high chair and pack & play for our youngest daughter. The house had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. It was close to everything we wanted to do in Bend. We will definitely be back!

Great stay

Our family had an amazing stay here for the week. The house was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. Good location close to town and Paula was an amazing host. Couldn’t ask for a better stay!

An Absolute Gem in Bend!

This home has everything you could want in a luxury VRBO. The kitchen is well appointed and beautiful, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is ideal. Our Mother/Daughter weekend was fabulous! I have stayed in the smaller apartment on the property before, so knew the host was amazing and leaves you nothing to want for. We will be back!

Very Clean Great place to stay for surgery recovery

Due to surgery recovery cleanliness was the most important thing we looked for in a place to stay. We appreciated how quiet and relaxing the house was. four deer came to visit in the backyard. this was extremely relaxing to watch through the big beautiful windows.

Fantastic modernist place

This house is very modern and well appointed. It's the kind of place where I would like to live and the appointments are all first rate. We stayed there for a couple of days skiing at Mt. Bachelor. The drive was easy and markets and such were easily accessible. The owner was very gracious and accommodating. We will be staying here again when we are back in the area.

Great home base in Bend

This was our second stay at this wonderful home and I would literally move in if I could. Everything about this vacation rental is ideal - it is beautiful and well equipped beyond most, spotlessly clean, and the owner is great to work with. Our party was my husband and myself and our daughter and her husband. We skied all week and cooked dinner and relaxed here in the evenings. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and peaceful home

I have stayed in roughly 20 short term rentals. This home is in the top few in terms of the quality of the house itself and everything inside. Great shower in MBR, kitchen very well supplied, wonderful outdoor sitting area for our morning coffee and evening wine. There are several walkable restaurants as well as the Newport Market as long as you don’t mind climbing a hill back up (we did not). Paula is an excellent host who was quick to respond and gave us great recommendations for hikes and restaurants. Loved her place and Bend in general.

Wonderful stay

My family stayed at Paula’s place for several weeks this summer, and it contributed to making our trip a wonderful and comfortable one. The home is bright, comfortable and pleasant to be in, well stocked, and well located. We enjoyed our time there, and would highly recommend it. We slept well on the bed, but would say that it is the one major incongruous part of the home. The home is modern, well built and furnished, but the mattress lags in comparison. It has a topper that is slightly smaller than the mattress, and is fairly comfortable, but not exactly up to snuff. Screen doors would be helpful to keep the bugs out. Hot water does run out in the shower. Overall, 5 stars, and we would stay here again.

Exceptional property

Perhaps the best vacation house we've ever experienced. The craftsmanship/construction of the house is extraordinary for one built on-site (vs pre-manufactured) which enriches the experience. The back yard offers attractive natural landscaping and enough room for seating options for all hours of the day. Note that there are only 2 bedrooms, which wasn't a problem for us but could be for larger traveling parties. There are no black-out shades, so be prepared to get up with the sun! We stayed during the peak daylight time of year so we got a particularly early start for the day to enjoy the many hiking opportunities. The only downside is the distance from Old Bend (downtown, 20 minutes or so). This might be a bit of a hike for some folks, through some busy commercial and residential streets. But that didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay. The design of the kitchen-living room combination is among the we've seen in any house! We'll definitely be back!

Perfect spot

Paula’s house was perfect for 4 friends exploring Bend. Clean, well appointed, and comfortable, it is in a great location. A short drive to downtown, the Old Mil District, close to restaurants and a good natural foods market. Paula provided great restaurant recommendations, and was very responsive to our questions. The check in/ out process was easy. We highly recommend this property.

Annual Golf Trip

Fantastic Location with Incredible Amenities!

Mt. Bachelor was the main reason for our trip, and it absolutely delivered. The skiing was fantastic—great snow, beautiful runs, and easy access from where we stayed. Really enjoyed my time here. The location is excellent and downtown was close enough to walk to and explore at my own pace, which I appreciated. I love walking, and this spot made that easy, whether it was heading to the city center or just enjoying nearby parks and local streets.The amenities were a standout—modern, clean, and everything thoughtfully arranged. I also found a few great restaurants nearby, with plenty more options once I got into town. It struck a great balance between peaceful and accessible. If you’re someone who enjoys walking and likes having the flexibility to explore on foot, this place hits the mark.

Perfect home base in Bend

Cozy, Clean and Close to everything!

We loved everything about this house, it has everything you need and more & feels like being at home, only better! Easy walk to parks, coffee, restaurants and shops! 30 min to the mountain and you can see deer in the backyard! Paula was a great host, very thoughtful and friendly, we'd definitely stay here again!

Best rental in Bend

I was so excited to stay at this home just from the pictures and property description when we booked. Once I saw it in person I was beyond pleased. It was even better than the already beautiful pictures. Paula was amazing and very responsive if needed. This will be the only place we will stay when renting in Bend! We look forward to our next vacation here!

Best Stay, EVER!

We just spent the most amazing long weekend in this magnificent property. It would be hard to over state just how wonderful this property was. The host, Paula, has done an incredible job creating a really relaxing and welcoming environment. The property itself is really beautiful and it has a glorious garden and patio to the rear with outdoor seating. Paula has thoughtfully provided all the amenities you may need. The location was perfect! Everything that Bend has to offer is within easy walking distance. Paula, thanks so much for a really incredible stay in your beautiful property. Such a Gem

This home is a 10/10! Has everything you need, is beautiful, clean, very comfy beds, responsive hosts, walking distance to so much! Within 10 min walking you can be at Newport market (great for everything but especially the premade stuff, back porch coffee, Nancy P’s bakery (we went daily), and a bunch of good restaurants… park nearby too if you have kiddos. They also had things for the kids like toys, high chair and pack n’ play. They have the rental set up beautifully so that it’s super kid friendly but if you don’t have kids then all the kid stuff is stored away! I’m ready to move in lol! Will for sure stay again!

Now relocated in Bend, we spend most of our time on the trails and enjoying our Oregon roots.
