We love staying at the Little Stonehouse! The best part was lake access kayaks, back chairs and the SUP board. We enjoyed every day at the beach. The house was charming and comfy!

Wonderful stay. Very good, detailed communication from our host Nancy. This is a very unique and charming property. Location in the Tahoe region is convenient to everything while being private and quiet. Highly recommend, 5 stars!

The Little Stone House is a wonderful place. It was very charming and comfortable. It was filled with everything you would need for a wonderful stay at Lake Tahoe. We were able to cook great meals both in the kitchen and using the grill. Plus, you are very close to Stateline / South Lake Tahoe if you want to go out to eat or shopping. The decor was tremendous making it a very cozy place to stay. Everything you needed from linens to LOTS of games & puzzles was there. It was an added plus there was a washer and dryer since our visit was at the end of a longer trip to California. Nancy, the host, provided EXCEPTIONAL information about how to reach the property, how to use and find all of the amenities and TONS of information about what to do in the surrounding area. I can't think of much more you would need.Overall, a great visit.

Magical, peaceful, old Tahoe, the view of Tahoe through the trees was my favorite, a short walk to private beach, the host has thought of everything to ensure guests have a great time (kayaks and paddle boards included) and left clear, detailed instructions to make the trip seamless. We had the best 4th of July ever! Thank you Nancy for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

This property is beautiful and cozy. We really enjoyed the warmth from the fireplace and the very short walk to the beach. Everything was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Tahoe area!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Little Stone House!  Nancy, the host, was a pleasure to work with.  She was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The house is so charming.  From the moment we walked in, we were so impressed by the architecture and craftsmanship.  The home is very well stocked.  We cooked in 4 nights, and the kitchen had everything we needed.  The private beach is only a 5-minute walk away.  In the mornings, the water was so calm, it was perfect for kayaking.  In the evenings, the sunsets were beautiful.  It is so peaceful and quiet at night. The location is ideal for exploring all that Lake Tahoe has to offer.  We enjoyed hiking, with our 3 favorites being the Eagle Lake trail, the Rubicon trail to the lighthouse at D. L. Bliss State Park, and Picnic Rock trail. On the east shore, we were amazed by the rock formations and the colors of the water, from turquoise to deep blue. Bike riding, swimming, and taking photos were all so much fun.   After a day of adventures, we loved coming back to the house, relaxing with the fireplace on, and enjoying the serenity of this very special home.  Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your home with us!

There are plenty of places to stay in Lake Tahoe, but very few that actually become part of the experience. This one does.This home is a luxury cabin that somehow takes you back in time, and for us, that was a big part of what made the stay so special.Lake Tahoe is beautiful, but staying in a home that actually complements the character and beauty of the area is worth every penny. Having grown up in Tahoe, so many of my memories are tied to the pine trees, fishing and hiking, and the sound of small waves lapping against the shoreline. Waking up each morning and simply enjoying the rustic charm and setting of this home brought a lot of those memories flooding back.One of the biggest advantages, though, is the private beach access. With Tahoe’s public beaches becoming so crowded, it is hard to overstate how nice it was to walk down to a quiet, beautiful beach and still experience the peaceful Lake Tahoe I remember. You can also drive down, and parking was easy. The beach itself is gorgeous, with crystal-clear water ranging from emerald green to beautiful shades of blue.This will absolutely be our go-to place whenever we return to Tahoe.

Charming home! It was a great fit for us (2 parents, 2 kids) and in a great location during the winter. Nancy was a great host who made sure we had all needed info, as well as a ton of suggestions for activities. Will be coming back!

Very charming historic home renovated with all modern conveniences. Beautifulneighborhood and great location. Kayaks, bikes, beach chairs and toys included for use at the community's private beach. Perfect South Tahoe Getaway

What a great home! The beach is so private and the beach toys kept us entertained all week long. We loved the quick access to the grocery store and tons of hiking.
