The property was in perfect condition, the host was immediately responsive to every question we asked, and everything described as being available on the property was available. Our stay there could not have been better.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it! The condominium is in a beautiful, well kept development with a private beach. It is updated, super clean and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and the beach. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Amazing guests! They are such a darling couple who are so fun. We have been blessed to host these wonderful guests twice now. We were very excited to host them again this summer, feeling like we had friends staying in our home. They always take great care of the condo, follow all of our house rules, and leave it very clean. 6 years of coming to Tahoe this was by far the best place i have ever stayed! The personal touch that was taken made my stay even more memorable.

The condo was impeccably clean, comfortable and inviting. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches such as yummy snacks and beverages in the fridge. It’s an easy walk to the beach and the property grounds were lovely and peaceful.Diane was an excellent communicator and it is obvious she is committed to providing a great stay! We had an incredible stay! The home is modern, fully stocked, clean, and very comfortable. Diane was a fantastic, communicative host who went above and beyond with thoughtful details — from a personalized note and welcome treats to clear, helpful instructions. The outdoor amenities were a huge highlight; having access to the double kayak, stand-up paddleboards, umbrella/chairs, and a wagon made our time at the lake seamless. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it!

This place is a gem! It’s conveniently located right next to all the amenities, and it even has its own private beach. The house is stocked with everything you need, and Dianne is an excellent host who makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend this place!

Amanda and her friends were great guests. I enjoyed hosting them. Amanda was darling and easy to communicate with. They followed the house rules and returned our home in good condition. I highly recommend Amanda to future hosts, and would love to host her again sometime.

Favorite place for a Family Vacation

We love this condo, the owners Diane and Jim are so welcoming, you can see they take pride in their rental with all the thoughtful little items they leave to brighten and make our stay even better! If you are looking for a cute condo for the family in a great community in Zephyr, this is the place to stay!!

We were blessed with hosting Ashlyn and her sweet family for a second time at our place. They were perfect guests again, and took excellent care of our home. Guests like Ashlyn, her husband, and darling kids make hosting such a fun and rewarding experience. The best part for us was the beautiful pictures the children had drawn as a thank you for us. ❤️ We highly recommend them to other hosts, and hope to get the opportunity to host them again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the “Tahoe Gem” in Zephyr Cove. The location was perfect, just steps from the shore, and the condo had everything we could possibly need for enjoying Tahoe.Diane and Jim’s attention to detail was exceptional. Beach toys, paddle boards, a kayak, a fully stocked kitchen, snacks and goodies, freshly baked pastries and bread, and even a thoughtful gift bottle of wine waiting for us—you name it, they seemed to have thought of it. Even if you forgot a toiletry item, chances were they had you covered.The condo was spotless, the Sleep Number beds were very comfortable, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Diane calls it her “Ta-home,” and that description really fits. It felt warm, comfortable, and welcoming rather than simply being a vacation rental.A beautiful place, fantastic location, and truly thoughtful hosts. We would happily stay at the Tahoe Gem again

This property exceeded all our expectations. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and even better than the photos. What really stood out was the owner’s communication: always responsive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Everything about our stay at Tahoe Gem was wonderful!!! The hosts were the absolute best and very generous with many extra amenities; like a stocked kitchen for a full breakfast, delicious snacks & even a bottle of wine with a personal welcome note & sign! We didn’t have a view of the lake but we were out most of the time and looked forward to coming back from the lake and our outings, to this beautiful gem of a home on vacation! Zephyr Cove is a clean and well manicured beach community and the condo is only a short walk to the beach! It’s the BEST view in Lake Tahoe, especially, for the amazing sunsets! We loved every minute and would definitely want to stay here again!!! The hosts answered questions we had and gave recommendations of activities, which were spot on! The boat tour to Emerald Bay was our very favorite! What a dream of a stay for us!!!

The condo was very nicely updated and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Diane left fresh muffins and a few essentials in the fridge which was very nice. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Having all the beach chairs, beach towels, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, etc. to use on the beach along with a wagon made all the difference. I loved having access to the washer and dryer to keep the towels clean and fresh. We will absolutely be coming again next summer.

Hospitality Plus

From the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcomed. In all the vacation retails we have done, none can match the little extras that were everywhere throughout the emaculate, well-appointed condo. If we had any questions, Diane emailed us right back. We highly recommend this lovely condo near serene Lake Tahoe.

Guy and his family were wonderful guests. They were very responsive and easy to communicate with before and during the stay. Really beautiful location. Unit was very nice. The hospitality offered by the host was simply the best ever. Everything from fresh flowers to snacks to the high quality utensils, extra towels, laundry detergent, breakfast food, bottle of wine and the nice personal welcoming card. Overwhelming. We will be back. :))

Wonderful Home!! Amazing Owners!

We had a wonderful time! The owners were incredibly considerate. Everywhere we looked there was something we may need, just in case of an emergency. They left lovely notes to make us feel welcome right from the start. It is a short walk to the pier which was lovely to see at night! The neighborhood is very quiet and a great place for some rest and relaxation. The home was impeccably clean, all instructions were clearly described, the owner was responsive to questions and we had an amazing time. It was one of my best VRBO experiences. You can tell that the home has been loved : )

Perfect Property

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The house was very clean. The beds were super comfortable, including a Sleep Number bed in the master! The bathrooms have been recently updated/remodeled. Everything was perfect. Dianne, the hostess, was wonderful! She included anything and everything you could possibly think of or need. There is no need to run to the grocery store to buy anything before arriving , she will have it covered! The beach is so nice, the walk is short. There’s a beautiful pier and all the equipment to enjoy your days on the water. I highly recommend this property!

Nicole and Stephen were dream guests! They left our home so clean and in great condition. They were so nice in all communications and followed all of our house rules. 50th wedding celebration

The property was just perfect. Got to take in a beautiful sunset on the beach at Pinewood. The place is very clean, recently remodeled and had all the comforts of home. We definitely will consider staying here again. The host did an exceptional job to make our stay feel special.

Great condo, beautiful and quiet beach

We had a lovely time here, the condo had everything we needed and the beach supplies were awesome (canoes, paddleboards, life jackets, umbrella). The host was so kind, helpful, and gracious.
