This 2-bedroom Owners Cottage really convinces you that you are on vacation at the beach. Janie's special touch has given this cottage the flair and comfort that you just have to experience and appreciate. There are 2-bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other with a full size bed. In the living room ther is a sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. Bathroom with shower, kitchenette with stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, and more.coffee maker and more.

There's central heat & air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout.Broadband connection and Wi-Fi for work or streaming video? There is cable TV and televisions in the bedrooms & living room. Free phone service with long distance to US and Canada. Just outside your door there are 2-decks for sitting out and entertaining. There is also a Charcoal grill for cooking out. All very nicley appointed and professionally decorated in Florida Beach Style.
Deposit and payment to owner preferred.

Great quiet location

Close to beach, walked to several eating locations, quiet and nice to have a pool. Would come back again!

Wonderful place to stay. On the beach. Pool and very quit and peaceful. I would go back and stay a month!

Dream cottage

This is the ideal place to stay! The owner Joe is the best host, he checks in on you when you get there and if anything out of the ordinary happens, he’s on it. The cottage has everything you need, it’s clean and very home like. We have stayed in the Blue Heron complex 10 times thru 5 years and Joe’s cottage is by far the. Best! You will not find a more perfect place or host. Bottom line is it’s BEST!!! If you don’t stay here you’re a fool. Once you stay you’ll keep coming back…..we do and will continue to!

Perfect place for a family vacation

Literally steps to the beach. Great cottage in a great area of Indian Rocks Beach. We had no issues with the stay. The one thing that I wish it had was a washer and dryer but who really wants to do laundry on vacation. Hopefully we will be able to get the cottage again on our next visit to Indian Rocks Beach. It was a great vacation for our family of three.

Beach house

Quaint cottage with direct access to beautiful gulf coast beach. The unit has everything you need - lovely. We will definitely come again.

Cottage only has location

Love where it is and proximity to pool and beach. Cottage itself is in dire need of updating especially based on the top dollar we paid. No place to sit and eat inside. Bathroom too cramped and old. Microwave rattles. Outdoor equipment rusty and unsuitable. Then there was the red tide.

Great cottage and location

What a wonderful find! This cottage was perfect for our little group, which consisted of 3 adults, a toddler and a Boston Terrier. ~ While some might find things a bit cozy (it IS a cottage, after all), we were completely comfortable and were delighted with how nicely the place was appointed. ~ There were 2 things that stood out: the location is amazing, and Joe was easy to communicate with. ~ This cottage is one of 8, right off the main road AND within a short walking distance to the beach (The pool is between the cottages and the beach - what a perfect combination!) ~ And Joe was a great communicator - he answered my many questions via text and email, both before and during our stay. ~ We loved the "house book" which had info on recycling pick up, restaurant recommendations, and other odds and ends that are always fun and useful. ~ We look forward to coming back in the future!

Perfect getaway spot

Calm, quiet place

Joe's little cottage was great. The low-profile porch meant no problems using a wheelchair, and the crushed shell driveway was packed so the wheelchair didn't bog down. Equally valuable was that this cottage backs directly up to a public access path, which meant wheelchair access to the beach was extremely easy on the concrete and wooden trail. There are eight cottages owned by different landlords, but all the guests got along. I can't promise that for anyone during any other week, but it was great for us, chatting with a variety of other beachgoers ranging in age from 15 to 75. We had no car, so it was nice that there is a small grocery/convenience store about two blocks away. (Publix also delivers groceries!) The only improvement I could suggest is some way to hang up or mechanically dry wet towels. Site rules said "no clothes lines" and stressed keeping the area neat, but by midweek we were straining under the weight of all our towels being damp. I am not sure what can be done, but just thought I'd bring it up. Overall, Joe's cottage was grand, accessible, and just what we needed.

Amazing trip! Will stay again.

Joe was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He went over and above by getting a pack n play and beach cart helping us save space in the vehicle. The cottage was clean and the neighbors were friendly. We look forward to coming back and staying in this cottage. Thanks again Joe for everything!

Misrepresentation

Tiny trailer on wheels not on beach. Gravel parking lot. Nosy mean neighbors. Tiny house and worse bathroom. Pool is tiny community pool not the rentals pool and colder than ocean. Dogs not welcome despite promises they were.

Terrible spring break experience

Listing shows ocean views there are no ocean views unless you walk to beach Property manager doesn’t text only calls We had to wait extra hour for key We had family staying 2 blocks down beach manager complained about nieces and nephews visiting just a terrible experience never agian will we stay at this property

This place is truly a gem!

The cottage itself is just adorable. The property is well maintained with a great heated pool. The beach is right there and you can hear the ocean from the pool and cottage. They thought of everything, and the host is also a gem. The location is also terrific. It is walking distance (0.3- 1 mile) to many restaurants and shops. My favorite VRBO to date!!

Our Vacation

We had a few bumps in the road in the beginning but the owner was very accommodating and available. The cottage was cute, clean and had all the amenities needed for a nice stay. There is a pool and the beach is just over the dunes. We enjoyed and would stay again!

Paradise in beachfront cottage

You will fall in love with the property of Blue Heron — gorgeous. Each cabin is privately owned and you are friends right off the bat with everyone; renters or owners. There is nothing not to love. Just cute, cozy and everything you need. In our particular unit we could use some chairs for the front porch as thats where the action is. The grill was old and not useable which was a bummer.

Beach bungalow

Great beach location and a lovely little cottage! We enjoyed the small community feel and our neighbors for the week we were there. Close to walk to shopping, restaurants and bars. Joe was exceptional to work with and we hope to return again!

Peaceful and Family-Friendly

We had an amazing time enjoying the beach and our beach cottage. The accommodations had everything we needed, were clean and was a perfect size for our family. The ocean was beautiful and the beach was nice and private; lots of space to enjoy the water!! We loved it so much we want to come back next year!! Highly recommend this unit and the owner, Joe, is a super nice man - we are so grateful to him for making our stay so memorable!!!

Great location!

We enjoyed the Blue Heron cottage 5. It had a cute costal feel and It was a great location, clean and accommodating. Joe Plummer the owner was very personable and even hand delivered our security deposit. Daniel did a great job of preparing our unit for an earlier arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped

Loved our stay st this charming cottage! The cottage had all the amenities that one could want in a beach cottage. Everything was in working order and the cottage was very charming in its beach decor. Only steps from both the beach and pool, the cottage met all our needs.
