We received very detailed communication with our host which made our stay seamless. We had a very pleasant stay. The cottage had everything we needed. The hi-light was the incredible view of the harbour!

Great spot! So enjoyed our stay here. Bakeapple Cottage had everything we needed. Parking is a wee bit tricky, but doesn’t detract from the cottage. Would recommend!

Everything was perfect. Rochelle was in touch with us before we arrived and the check-in was smooth. Super-clean and we were in the heart of downtown in five minutes. There is a very nice coffee shop in a less than five-minute walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was welcoming, the view spectacular, and the host was wonderful and provided lots of information on what to do on the area; many of which were in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again of in St. John’s. Thank you!

The property is well set up and in a great location. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio. The kitchen had lots of cooking supplies and was easy to work in.

Amazing view of the harbour. We walked most places including the battery, Cabot Tower and downtown. Had a very fun night at O’Reilly’s for some great Newfoundland music. So interesting watching the comings and goings of the ships. The dockyards were quite noisy during the days with a quieter but still present thrum through the night. As a light sleeper, keeping the windows closed was needed. Very comfortable space overall. Great communication with the owner who knows the area and provided lots of suggestions for things to do and places to see.

Unit was as advertised. Somewhat difficult to locate. Needed to ask assistance from area residents. Parking a bit challenging as road is very narrow. Loved the Battery Cafe which was very short walk. At times somewhat noisy unit above. Unit could use central air as was quite humid. Overall convenient place to stay.

Beautiful spot right in the heart of The Battery and within walking distance to downtown. The view of the harbour was awesome. Great beds and everything you need for a short or longer stay. We did the BIG hike from the far end of The Battery to Signal Hill and the views there were spectacular. Would highly recommend this property.

Comfortable homely cottage with fabulous harbour views - a great place to watch the ships come and go. An easy short walk into town and easy access to the coastal walking trails and Signal Hill.

We absolutely loved the suite. It was well equipped with lots of tableware and cookware and basic seasoning. The view is amazing and the location can’t be beat. For us Cabot Towed, Qidi Vidi, and George Street were all within a nice walking distance. We would highly recommend this suite!

What a beautiful and comfortable cottage! It was very well appointed. The view of the harbour was stunning and the location was wonderful. Rochelle was very friendly and her responses to our questions were always most timely.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
