This beautifully decorated apartment offers a comfortable night's sleep on either of the queen size beds. Kitchenette is fully equipped for your convenience. Two patios offer you outdoor space to enjoy the gardens and magnificent views. Property is off the beaten path providing a retreat-like setting while only minutes from town or the mountains. Taos is filled with culture and also great for outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, rafting, fishing, and skiing.

Unique property central to many attractions.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable. It is located close to many destinations in the area. The mountains are beautiful.

A Peaceful Get-away with Gorgeous Views

Maura's place was perfect for a nice couple's get-away. It had everything we needed, was clean, quiet and a great location to explore Taos and other towns. We loved the backyard and the sunset views. We would definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend it.

Clean, well maintained apartment

This is a nice one bedroom apartment attached to a home just north of the town of Taos. It is minutes away from Taos, Taos Pueblo and Rio Grande Gorge. The host is friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful weekend retreat

The property is as stunning if not more stunning than the pictures provided. The view is absolutely spectacular. The studio space is very tastefully decorated, very clean and perfect for two people. The location is also great. It is just outside of the main town so the views of the mountain are spectacular, but it is just under 10 minutes to drive into Taos proper, a very short drive. Would highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay there again.

Great weekend in this beautiful studio in El Prado

Maura’s attached studio apartment is beautiful. It has high beams, a well stocked kitchenette a beautiful outdoor space and lots of windows. The sleeper sofa had such a comfortable mattress I could barely get my son up in the mornings. It is a perfect quiet place for two. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning for another visit. Thank you Maura!

Beautiful Mountain View’s and very clean, Comfortable living space. Enjoyed the area - dirt roads were a bit tricky at first, but able to navigate.

Really enjoyed our short stay

We only spent three nights and could have stayed longer. Place was very nice, clean and well supplied. No oven but that was no problem. A quiet place a couple of miles out of Taos. Great views. The flowers were just starting to bloom. Maura was a great host.

Beautiful studio in lovely El Prado

This is our second stay in Maura’s lovely studio. The beds are comfortable and the kitchenette is amply supplied. The dining room table has windows so you can watch the beautiful Northern New Mexican sunsets.

Outstanding location and host!

This rental was all we had hoped and more. The suite was immaculately clean on arrival and just as advertised on VRBO. The location is perfectly quiet with stunning views of the sage brush and mountains surrounding Taos and a beautiful night sky. Maura is a wonderful host and we are already discussing our next trip for a longer stay.

A quiet oasis

This Vrbo appeared as advertised. Suite and property immaculate. Home in quiet area but 10 minutes to the Plaza. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful location, friendly hostess

The property is just beautiful with an incredible sweeping view down onto Taos. It's less than two miles from town, so a great location for seeing incredible night skies and sunsets while still just a hop, skip and a jump to town. Maura is friendly but not intrusive. Providing coffee in the unit was a really nice touch! Highly recommend.

Quiet retreat

The property is outside of town and away from the busy area, but close and easy to get to the shops if desired. It was a little challenging to find in the dark/rain, but we managed. Easy access to local hiking. Apartment had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable.

Idyllic location

We loved our stay in this apartment and Maura was a perfect host - not intrusive but available if we needed her - and a great source of information about the area. The location is beautiful with great views and very quiet. Yet, it is just a short drive to Taos. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a few days' stay, and even though it feels wonderfully remote, the wifi was excellent! We would defintitely stay here again.

Clean, hospitable, with great views & night sky

Joyce H's review seems just right to us, both about the lodgings and about Maura. The gravel roads could be a problem for bikers, but the views (including of the night sky) afforded by being close to town but on the top of a mesa more than counterbalance that. There are also advantages to living in an apartment connected to the owner's house. When I walked into a cupboard door, she brought over ice and additional bandages. She also talked over trails with us. We would gladly stay here again--much better than the town option we had also considered.

Beautiful Property and Views

This is a beautifully decorated apartment on top of the mesa. It's perfect for 1 or 2 people. Very comfortable, clean, and quiet with beautiful landscaping, and views of the mountain. It's a lovely 15 minute drive from the town of Taos. The apartment is connected to the owner's home, and she was always available, friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again.

Relax Restart Regenerate

This casita was so nice and Maura has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and great! The two outdoor seating areas were so nice as we moved from shade to shade. Short drive to Taos center and grocery store. We stayed a week so a little bit larger fridge would have been nice. Beautiful property, beautiful sunrises and sets, lots of landscaping to enjoy. Loved this! Thanks Maura!!!

This newly remodeled apartment is close to town and Taos Ski Valley, yet off the beaten path in a retreat like setting. You’ll love my place because of the location, the outdoors space, and the ambiance. The property borders Pueblo Indian Land offering stunning panoramic views of the entire Taos Valley. My place is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, artists and writers. Taos is a destination rich in culture and also great for recreation like skiing, hiking, biking, and rafting.

This studio suite has been thoughtfully decorated with antiques and artwork from local artists to create an inspiring and relaxing atmosphere. Quality linens and towels will make you feel pampered.

The brand new kitchenette has granite counter top, 2-burner glass stove top, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and stainless steel sink. It's equipped with dishes, glasses, cookware and utensils. For your convenience, coffee and tea are provided. The dining table has seating for four. An American Leather sleeper sofa with queen size Temperpedic mattress, in the living room, offers a good night's sleep for additional guests. HD satellite TV and Sony bluetooth stereo offer inside entertainment.

You can take in the view while you sit on one of the patios and sip your morning coffee, have cocktails, dine, watch the sunrise, sunset or stargaze. Garden flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies. The flagstone walkways lead to either of the patios designed for your enjoyment. Patio cushions are not waterproof and it is best to store them inside when not in use.
