Large one bedroom condo for rent in beautiful South Maui. The complex is rated a "Solid Gold Value" by the Maui Revealed guidebook.

Located across the street from Kamaole State Beach Park II, this 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is located on the third (top) floor, with partial ocean view from the large and private lanai. There are no elevators at the complex, which provides for quiet and privacy as there are no walkways outside the bedroom window.

Shopping and several restaurants are within walking distance. Kamaole Beach II, has a lifeguard station, and provides good snorkeling, body surfing and nightly sunsets. There are laundry facilities, gas grills and a large swimming pool on-site.

Kihei Kai Nani is a quiet no smoking one bedroom complex. This is a fully furnished condo with a full kitchen, two TV’s, two A.C. units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, free parking, free Wifi and more.

Kihei is centrally located approximately 12 miles from the Kahului airport in southwest Maui with easy access to all island activities.

Excellent location, great owner communication

Arrival and check out was really easy and stress free. Unit was right across from the beach. Perfect for girls trip or small family. A few very minor hiccups with a fan and bedding while there but owners were immediately responsive and it did not sway any part of enjoying our stay. Great communication before booking and during!! Pictures accurately describe unit. Stocked kitchen had everything needed. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location and the host are very helpful

You could not ask for a better location. Close to the beach and several good restaurants. Plus, an ice cream shop is 200 yards away.

Our hosts' communication throughout was fantastic! Though the property seemed slightly older, it was good n excellent condition. Convenient to food, beaches, and where I needed to go for work.

Excellent getaway

This property is placed perfectly to be walking distance from everything you need and want from Maui. The amenities are great. I was in heaven the whole time.

A really lovely and homely place to stay in Maui! The location was incredible - the beach across the street was perfect for sunset viewing and swimming, and there were 2-3 others within 10-15 minutes of walking. The laundry on-site was convenient and clean (we went to the adjacent pool while waiting)! When we arrived, the area around the complex and the apartment did have a slightly wet, musty odor, but that completely went away the second day and never returned, so perhaps that was an anomaly. It was quite hot without the AC and fans on and it got warm at night, but it was manageable. Unfortunately the power was shut off for half a day during our stay for maintenance, but we booked an excursion so there was no problem :) Overall, would recommend! A great price for such a central location and apartment with everything you would need.

Comfortable and cozy

This condo felt like staying in a family vacation home, the kind of place where it isn't stuffy or fancy but is clean and has all the conveniences you need. The location is in a very busy part of Kihei, which is good or bad, depending on how you feel about lots of people. The unit itself is a ways from the busy road (not too far though) so there is no road noise - I was amazed at how quiet it was for sleeping. There are quite a few long-term residents there who were all very friendly and welcoming. We loved being so close to the beach. The unit had plenty of beach chairs/umbrella, kid beach toys, etc.

The condo complex is quiet and located right across the beach! I can't stress how convenient it was to simply cross one street and be on the beach. The complex also have free parking (with a permit) and a pool. There are tons of places to eat and shop that are next door or within a couple of minutes of walking distance. Foodland (groceries) and ABC Store is right down the road. The condo itself has everything you could need! We used the beach chairs, boogie board, and an insulated lunch box. The condo is clean, has a great balcony to sit outside and catches a great breeze when you have the sliding doors and front door open. Bedroom has a floor unit AC and living room has a window AC. The owners are very kind and communicative.

Very nice

Nice condo in Kihei. I would recommend to friends. Clean unit, homey and comfortable. Just a note for new people so you know what to expect. It’s on the 3rd floor, and the stairs are a bit steep. Ok for me, but tough for mom. The AC in the living room works fine, but the bedroom AC is a stand-alone unit and does not cool the room below 82. It’s quite loud but drowns out the incessant roster crowing starting at 1am. All this is fine if the temps stay in the 70’s. Last thing, the sofa bed is very uncomfortable and makes noise when you move. On the plus side, the sofa is super comfy. We love Kihei and this location is perfect.

Honeymoon trip

We came back to this place for the second time this time was for our honeymoon. This is a great location with all amenities around . The overall experience with the beginning to the end of the booking and stay at this place is excellent so easy to communicate with the owners of the property. We enjoy the place as it is so close to the ocean and so many things to do within walking distance. Would defenatly stay here again .

Had a great week!

Had all the amenities we could want and more in a great location. The complex has a front desk that is there to help out with any non-unit specific questions which was nice as well. Hope to stay again some day!

Amazing location

Amazing response and communication with the manager after having an accident. I can not express how much of an amazing people Michael and his wife are. Condo was as described. Location was perfect for us, a lot of good food around. We loved Kihei Cafe, we went every morning. Beautiful beach across the street, amazing sunset!! Love to see how people gather to watch the sunset. Our favorite beach was a 6 minute drive. Our favorite restaurant a 10 minute drive (Monkey pod). Convenient location to go everywhere. One hour to Lahaina. And very close to the beautiful area of Paia. Well, writing this review made me think of how much I felt in love with Maui. It was an oasis in our life events. Thank you!!

Amazing cozy perfectly located home

Our 14-days stay was fabulous. The home has just about everything that you need - beach chairs, coolers, plenty of towels, boogie boards, you name it! Wall-to-wall-floor-to-ceiling window gives you plenty of light and fresh air. We only used an AC a couple times for a couple hours! The location is simply unbeatable, you don't even need a car unless you want to do some around the island travel. We definitely recommend this home and hope to come back in near future. Thank you very much Michael and Clair!!! You are awesome hosts!

We love Kihei due to its central location. The condo was a perfect place to come back to at the end of our active and adventurous days. We would definitely love to stay here again!!

Wonderful location and great value

Kihei ended up being a great launch point for our trip in Maui and the apartment was wonderful. It was clean and easy to find. Location was so close to a bunch of things and right across from Kam Ii beach. The only negative I can think of is the A/C unit in the bedroom; in order to save power it is on a 4 hour timer. It would cool down relatively quickly when we would turn it on for the night but we would be woken up by it turning off and would need to reset the timer to make it through the night. This was relatively minor inconvenience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot!

Nice quite condo

We enjoyed our stay at this condo and our hosts were great communicator's. Wonderful to be just across the street from the beach and appreciated how quiet the location was. There are several wonderful eating spots (including a shout out to 808 Deli right next door) that we enjoyed. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to prepare several of our meals.

Enjoyed our stay!

This unit was clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive and we completed our stay without any issues. The only downsides are that the apartment was not very well-stocked (no shampoo or body wash) and the bed was a bit wobbly. Also the local area in Kihei and the condo complex are more on the busy-side. So great place to be if you want to be in a busy and lively area, but not so great if you’re looking for seclusion. There are a great many food options around and it’s a great location if you’re planning on driving up Haleakala or doing the Road to Hana.

Excellent!!!

Michael and Clare have been super responsive throughout the whole process. Boogie boards made for fun impromptu outings. Location could not be better, and the place was just great to come back home to.

Convenient location

The location of the condo was great for walking to restaurants, a quick walk to the beach for sunset, and across the parking lot to the pool.

Close to the beach and wonderful hosts!

Mike and Clare are great hosts and super accommodating. The condo is a short walk to the beach and there's so much to do (and eat) in Kihei. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect place

My boyfriend and I wanted a little place to stay at while vacationing in Hawaii. It was very clean and perfect size for what we needed. They provided all the necessities and communicated very well with us.

Quiet Kihei charm

Clare and Michael are wonderful hosts. We could tell on checking in that this condo is loved and is their second home. It made us feel at home as well. There was nothing missing, from a cooler, extra ice trays, to linens and well shoot I did use some bandaids from the first aid kit I meant to replace! We had everything we needed and more. We did not spend much time at the condo and didn't walk around the area, but it looks very walkable. Close to plenty of restaurants and beach, location was great for us as we traveled to kite beach daily and drive was manageable to get anywhere on island really. Thank you Clare and Michael, we hope to come back soon!

All we can say is Excellent! Best location on the Island!

This was our first time to Hawaii. We had an amazing time and your beautiful home was very comfortable and cozy. You supplied all of the essentials and more for us to have fun at the beach, cook, and pack lunches for an amazing stay! We toured to Hana which took most of the day and the road is CRAZY but beautiful with a lot of great stops along the way. We went zip-lining with Jungle Zip-line and they were fabulous hosts! Very knowledgeable of the area. We also went snorkeling with Maui Snorkel and that was the BEST DAY EVER! Swam with Huge turtles and 3 SHARKS! Then got engaged!💍 We walked to lava field and toured many other beaches all over butt... yours was by far the best! The mattress wasn't as comfy as are used to but other then that, We will be back for sure! Thank you again so much! Cory & Stephanie

We love this property as you can walk to the beach and swim and snorkel without having to get in the car. We love our condo because we are on the top floor which makes the unit very quiet and private and we get a partial ocean view!
