This is a lovely old brick home with modern updates and great light. It's steps from Forsyth Park in historic downtown Savannah. The home features 2 big bedrooms, a comfortable living area with its original fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen. The beautiful brick accents and the thoughtful styling makes this home the perfect place for your next getaway.

We are always reachable by phone or message and strive to make sure someone can be there within 30 minutes if there is ever an issue.

Our property is located in beautiful Historic Downtown Savannah. All of the food, shopping and the river are right next door, a five minute walk or less. The neighborhood is clean and inviting with plenty of manicured parks to explore, unique shops to experience, and fine restaurants to try.

Historic Downtown Savannah feels big but remains small, thus most destinations are walkable. If you prefer to drive, street parking and parking garages are readily available. If you prefer to ride we suggest you try the free shuttle that comes every 10 minutes and will tour you around all of Historic Downtown.

quick getaway in Savannah

The unit was clean and bright. The mattresses were comfortable. There is some street noise as the unit is on a corner but nothing too bothersome. We enjoyed the back porch.

Unbeatable location and private porch!

This property is incredible! A very short walk to Forsyth Park gives you access to the free trolley straight to the river, and a Lyft ride back is less than $10. A shared front porch is nice, but the private back porch was our favorite place! The living room and kitchen are spacious with plenty of seating, but I especially liked how they separated the two living areas. This is ideal for stays with friends! One dedicated parking spot meant we were able to walk and ride public transit/ rideshare our entire time. Safe area, super walkable, clean, and easy check-in. Host was communicative too!

Some things to be aware of

The property manager does promptly respond to any issues. However, there are no blackout curtains, and the property sits on a well-lit corner. The front bedroom never gets really dark. Also, traffic outside the window is relatively heavy, and that, combined with the riverboat horns and the train horns just a few blocks away. These factors create an environment that make it difficult to get a good night's sleep. we did have some issues arousing from no one taking inventory between stays. So, we only had six forks and they were in three different sizes. The television had come offline, and we couldn't watch the internet TV on our first night. There were also no extra blankets. When I brought these things to the attention of the property manager he took care to them immediately.

Short but pleasant stay!

The property is charming and is in the Savannah Victorian district. It was well equipped, very clean, and the property manager was readily available for any questions and items we needed (it just happened to get very cold the two nights we were there but they quickly provided extra blankets.) I gave the location 4 stars only because it was a bit further from the squares and River Street than I thought it would be so we did have to drive for restaurants and shopping.. It was great to have a safe parking spot at the property - many places I looked at only had street parking and it wasn't guaranteed so for two senior women, it was important to be able to park the car at night in a safe place right at the house. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.
