We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The location is fantastic and we found the value to be exceptional. Would def stay here again

We had a great stay! The place was very well equipped with anything anybody might need! A spare toothbrush in the packaging saved us as we forgot one of ours! The bed we slept in was comfy. Really cute property. The bread and apple butter at welcome was AMAZING! Made it felt like being at a friend’s house! Would definitely have needed an AWD vehicle if we stayed with snow, but for the “leaf peeping” fall trip we took the mini van we rented was more than fine for traversing the area and getting up the driveway. Close enough to town for dinner but also just far enough to feel “secluded.”

Pat's house was wonderful to stay in while making a quick trip to the area. Though, we wish we could have stayed longer. Plenty of space to spread out! Peaceful, quiet surroundings. This was our second stay and hopefully we will visit again, soon. We were welcomed with a tasty, fresh-baked loaf of bread and homemade apple butter. Very thoughtful. House was very clean and very inviting. Everything you might need for cooking was available. It was a lovely home away from home.

Wonderful secluded location with easy access to Grandfather Mountain, waterfalls, caverns, and apple orchards. We'd stay here again!

We had a great stay. Very quiet area. Only about 8 minutes from downtown banner elk. Host was very kind, reached out to check on us as we got a good amount of snow during our stay. Great time with my family, would definitely stay again.

Winter weekend

The home was located in a convenient location to Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay.
