Our family is lucky to offer you this beautifully remodeled queen anne victorian home that is on the quietest block in urban Denver. The home, built in 1893 has all the old world charm with the modern conveniences you will need. It boasts gorgeous crown molding, ten foot ceilings, a gas fireplace, italian oak stairway, skylights, original leaded glass windows and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. There are four balconies and a 2 ½ car garage which is very rare in this urban setting. This 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home is perfect for business or pleasure.

Located in the Baker neighborhood, the home is just a block from eclectic boutiques, fine dining, and some of Denver’s trendiest nightlife. Located just a 1/2 mile from light rail, and minutes from downtown Denver, this home provides the ideal location for exploring our majestic city on foot, bicycle or other transportation.

There is exciting Denver so close by, yet being on a cul-de-sac the house is in an oasis of calm with a secluded lush back yard and patio area to sip your morning coffee or evening night cap.

Excellent Home

The property was excellent as advertised. Beautiful, clean, and spacious. Indoor parking garage was perfect in the winter. The host was very attentive. Communication was great. We would love to stay here again!

Great for Denver weekend

Great location

The house was just as described and very charming. The host kept us informed and were quick to respond (we had no issues at all - all directions provided were clear and concise). Great location to restaurants, sports bars and Mile High Stadium. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Charming Home

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Baker Retreat! It truly is a home away from home. We especially love the kitchen.. very well stocked and you can literally host holiday dinner there. Sharpie, Thank you so much for being a wonderful host.

Great place and location

This lovely home came with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Sharie and John were such gracious hosts. The location was excellent for our travel to Coors Field and the neighborhood offered an assortment of restaurants. My favorite was the Hornet.

Absolutely wonderful place

The place was absolutely wonderful! My party enjoyed the the cleanliness, the proximity to stores and restaurants. A small concern with the smart lock unlocking it self on the last night but Sharie responded quickly with our concern. Sharie is the sweeties!

Perfect Weekend

We came to Denver for a weekend getaway and were extremely happy with the home. Just enough space for privacy and áreas to spend time together while also allowing for privacy. Such a charming historic home. The stained glass windows were my favorite. We lived being walking distance from cafés and restaurants as well as a short drive from so many other attractions in Denver.

Beautiful House in wonderful area

The house was very roomy for all of use, the house was big enough not to run into each. Well maintained loved the 2 car garage, short walk into the downtown area with many shops and eateries. Would love to stay here the next time I'm in Denver, no regrets. The host was very response every time I asked questions host would get back to me in a short time, just loved it.

Great location and house

We had a family gathering with our adult (20s) children to celebrate birthdas and Father's day. We absolutely loved this location and property! If you like to cook, Sharie's kitchen is stocked with every item you need to pull off a fabulous meal. Thank you Sharie for sharing your gorgeous, quaint, historic home with us!

Perfect

This property was perfect for three adult friends and two teenagers. The keyless entry was seemless as everyone arrived at different times. The ability to walk to shops and restaurants was awesome. We parked in the garage easily, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Sharie the host was super nice and easy to communicate with. We had a great stay at the Baker house! Thank you!

Long weekend

We have a wonderful stay this April. This charming house was perfect for our 2 couples. I only wish the weather was warmer to enjoy the back yard a little more. The location had so many great restaurants, shops, breweries within walking distance we really didn’t need to drive much at all. Sharie was very helpful prior to our stay with suggestions on restaurants and answering all my questions about red rocks. Would rent this wonderful home again for sure!

Family time

First, the house is great. Only change would be a headboard on the downstairs double bed and night table. We are readers and that didn’t work well for us. All else on home and communication with Sharie was a 10!!!! Re: neighborhood. We took grands out Sunday night walking on South Broadway. It was not a great place for them and they are 11 and 14. We hadn’t gone far and their mom said enough. Maybe had something to do with the music festival that was ending, not sure. Morning walks were terrific, though, and the many porches were a plus. Most meals were on the back patio, the zen spot!!!!!

3-night stay with family

We had three couples plus a 16-month old here for three nights after attending a family wedding in Denver. The upstairs master had extra room for the port-a-crib. We all fit well. The owner was very accommodating and had a bottle of wine, chocolate, popcorn, and ground coffee waiting for us. She even let us drop off our luggage early while the cleaning staff was there for the last guests. She texted when the home was ready for us. We enjoyed the close walk to various restaurants and bars (The Hornet , Spicy Basil, and Voodoo donut were our favorites.) We enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck drinking wine in the evenings and coffee in the morning. The home had a washer & dryer which we used. Two bedrooms and one bath were upstairs and one bedroom with connecting bath was downstairs with tub/shower good for the baby's bath time. We loved the decor and charm of the home and would definitely stay here again. It was almost 100 degrees when we visited, and the upstairs got a little warm but the owner had extra fans to use and one of the upstairs rooms had a ceiling fan. Thank you for the fun memories!

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience staying in this beautiful home for the weekend of my son’s wedding. I chose this home because of its proximity to wedding events, but I would choose it again for any reason to visit Denver! It is a gorgeous and immaculate home - so easy to find in the most interesting neighborhood. The homeowner was very responsive to any questions and left detailed explanations for security, garage, television remote. This was definitely a 5-star stay!

Incredible location, and good hangout vibes in the house. Primary bedroom was the most comfortable of the three sleeping areas. Everything was as advertised. Would stay again.
