A short ride (via auto or local bus) into downtown Seattle and a leisurely walk to Discovery Park, our comfortable, bright home invites you and your guests into a living/dining/kitchen space that is made to share!

There is lovely bamboo flooring and a fully equipped kitchen with a large gas cook top. Microwave, blender, coffee pot, toaster, electric tea kettle, full spice rack, coffee and tea round out the kitchen.

In addition to the kitchen table which seats 6, there are 3 bar stools at the kitchen bar. A separate dining room also seats 6 at a large glass table. Both kitchen and dining tables can be expanded.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and a large en suite bath with double sinks, a large bathtub and a separate tiled shower. The middle bedroom has a queen bed, and the front bedroom has two extra-long twin beds. All beds have quality linens. The two front bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

There are keyless entries for front and back doors. Relax on the backyard patio or curl up with a book or your favorite TV program in the living room. You will enjoy high speed internet for work or streaming and Xfinity TV channels as well.

The house is on one floor and handicapped accessible from the back entry. Parking is on the street in front of the house. Be sure to page through our visitor's library of Seattle books and magazines!

Magnolia stay

Great trip

Cute house in a nice neighborhood. Well appointed and clean. During the summer heat, could do with more options to cool the house as most other areas of the country do have AC. We had a great stay.

Convenient Location & Quiet Neighborhood

Perfect amount of space for my two teenage daughters, husband and myself. The neighborhood is quiet yet just a short drive into downtown Seattle. A grocery store is just a few blocks away and easy to walk to. There is also an Albertsons grocery store within a mile away. The house had everything we needed, and it was easy to check in and check out. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the Seattle area.

Excellent Central Location

In Seattle for our son's wedding, and our stay couldn't have gone better. The Magnolia home was centrally located to just about everywhere we needed to go. Amenities were excellent, as was the overall comfort of the home.

Nice quiet get away

Nice, quiet, backyard and neighborhood. Very close to Metropolitan market, within walking distance. There was some construction going on around it but it wasn’t that bad. Lovely getaway very clean, very well organized.

Great location that is easily accessible to all part of Seattle. Nearby grocery stores that can be accessed by car or walking. Property was clean and kitchen provided the essentials to make a meal.

Our third stay here and not our last!

Sally's "red door house" as we call it is convenient and clean and perfect for us! The lay out works well for a very young grandchild- enough play space and good proximity for bedrooms and laundry. It's also close to her school and Met Market. Another great stay- our 3rd.

Great house in great location!

This house is exactly as advertised- clean, well-set up, with a great kitchen and enough space for us plus our three college kids! It’s only a 15-20 minute drive to UW or downtown too. Great place.

Early Thanksgiving Gathering

We love this home! It’s our second stay. We were visiting our kids that live in Seattle. It’s such a comfortable home that our daughter, husband and their baby stayed there too even though they live just across the bridge in Ballard. Wonderful spot to gather!!

Charming home

I stayed with my family and we absolutely loved this home and neighborhood. It was immaculate and had everything we needed including a grill for barbecues with family/friends. It's a perfect location to everything, downtown Seattle/ferry, Pike Place Market, Ballard only a short drive out of the city to Snoqualmie falls. This home had a homey feeling that we looked forward to going back to at the end of our long days. We will definitely be back and would love to stay here again.

Comfortable, convenient and easy

We have stayed here before and are already booked for the future. This is our go to place in Magnolia. The house works perfectly, love having laundry so accessible and equipped and it's a great neighborhood for walking. 3 blocks from Met Market is a plus too!

Lovely home

Wonderful small vacation home. Well-stocked and very comfortable. Location is very close to Discovery Park and 15min drive to downtown. Had a very nice stay!

A home away from home!

This property will provide you with everything that you need. Situated in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The location is close to downtown Seattle and local attractions. The check in and check out process was great. After a long trip from across the country the home was a great option instead of staying at a traditional hotel.

Home Away from Home!

This home was in a perfect location! A short drive to downtown Seattle its attractions and the Bainbridge Ferry. A short walk to Discovery Park and the Locks. The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable. My mother and I were impressed with the amenities. This has to be the best-stocked home we have every had the pleasure of staying in. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend this home if you plan on visiting Seattle!

Nice getaway

Home is very nice and we enjoyed retreating here after our days out and about. Air conditioning isn’t generally required but when temps are in the 80’s the couple of fans provided were essential Definitely will be returning.

Each time we visited our daughter and her family in Magnolia we loved the area more and more! It is very close to all the fun that Seattle offers, and at the same time, so relaxed and friendly. When we found this house, which had been beautifully remodeled, we could not resist buying it. We discover an interesting shop or a great new restaurant each time we are there. There is nothing more beautiful than Seattle and Puget Sound on a sunny day...or on a wet one for that matter! We hope you will come to enjoy it as much as we do.
