Jamaican Jewel Trip of a Lifetime

Wow doesn’t even cut it! Place was incredible and the staff was outstanding! There were 12 of us total (7 adults and 5 kids) and the accommodations were perfect! Each bedroom comes with its own bath and the den has a pull out couch (right outside 2 of the bedrooms) can be closed off with privacy (bc then the 2 bedrooms can use the doors leading outside to outside patio). Each bedroom has its own bathroom plus there’s a half bath right outside the den area leading into the living space. I was lucky enough to stay in the upstairs primary suite and loved waking up everyday looking out into the blue Caribbean Sea. Gorgeous views from the entire backyard and the pool was perfect! Staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly and made us feel welcome the entire trip! We went to the grocery a few times with the driver, Norman and butler, Desmond and they were so helpful and made the process smooth! Chef Beverly is an amazing cook and made the best meals we didn’t even know existed! Plus she was so gracious to accommodate 5 different children appetites! Communication was top notch and this place was an absolute dream come true! We didn’t want to leave but hope to return back! Excellent!!

Had a great time, with a few suggestions

I had a wonderful time and truly appreciated the kindness and effort of all the staff. Desmond made my birthday special with beautiful live music, Beverly’s food was very good, and the house staff kept everything clean and even decorated for my birthday. The gardener also keeps the grounds stunning—it’s a beautiful place with friendly staff! That said, I have a few suggestions: Transparency about costs. The 15% tip of the total stay amount should be listed upfront to help guests plan or choose another option. Grocery shopping. Daily trips with the butler cut into our time in Jamaica. Planning menus and collecting dietary restrictions before arrival could help streamline this. As well as invoicing for groceries afterward. Dietary restrictions. A few restrictions were missed—ensuring these are followed could improve the experience. It also felt like we were not allowed in the kitchen, and would often want a snack again later after dinner. We only had hot water for one day, and the TV only worked the last day once we fixed it. Clear instructions at the start would be helpful. Completed laundry was left in the wrong rooms and was only done on the last day. One planned meal wasn’t served. It’s a beautiful home with amazing staff, but some small adjustments could make it even better for the cost to feel worth it. Thank you again for making my birthday so special!

Gorgeous Retreat In Paradise

From arrival to departure, this venue and host was top tier by far. The villa is very well managed and maintained. The house staff was exceptional and the house chef serves the best food in Montego Bay. My guest and I were beyond spoiled by the care and detail that was afforded us while staying here. If you are looking for a super host that is hands on and takes pride in the service you receive while enjoying a vacation, look no further. Camille is the best! There was no stone left unturned to ensure we enjoyed our stay! We will be back again and again.

Beautiful view and house

Celebrated my Mom's 70th birthday and it was perfect! The only thing I would suggest is adding to the posting that food is additional and not part of staff cost as well as suggested 15% gratuity based on price of rental so people know up front prior to booking.

Jewel of Stay

My wife wanted to have a birthday gathering in Jamaica. The space was perfect for the seven guests and well set up for fun. The staff catered to our every need, kept the villa spotless, and were great people. The meals were great and we customized our meals for the whole week. Everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious. They gave my wife a special dinner on the patio, with lights and happy birthday banners. Camille, our host, was absolutely great to work with in setting this up. She was responsive to every email I sent and every request we made. Her attention to detail was reflected in the staff that took care of us and the beautiful art hanging on the walls. Built into a hillside the Villa has stairs both inside and out. That may be a challenge for some but, except for the master BR, all of the bedrooms are on the main level with doors that open up onto the patio. The largest bedroom suite is upstairs with a private deck and a huge bathroom. We loved our time and I suspect we’ll be back.

Perfect!

This property is love! The home is older than you can tell from the pictures, but has all the charm and peace of Grandma’s house. It’s spacious floor plan accommodated 4 couples easily and restored and filled us all. All of the rooms were spacious, cool and clean. Some areas could use attention such as how to turn on the shower, but that doesn’t detract from the experience AT ALL!!! Camille and all of the staff Desmond, Norman, Lorraine, Violet, Donald, and Ms. Beverly were all such beautiful and pleasant people. If you want to be restored, be cared for, and eat the best food of your life from Ms. Beverly this is the place for you.

Great Accommodations! Great Staff!

This villa was perfect for our group of six with plenty of room to relax and spread out. We spent most of our time at the porch or around the swimming pool. The house is well maintained by a wonderful staff who took care of everything from shopping, preparing meals, making drinks, keeping our rooms neat, to driving us wherever we wanted to go. They were there when needed and invisible when not. We ate all but two meals at the house, and the food was fantastic - better than one of the very high end restaurants that we ate at one night! Everyone of the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The villa is in a gated community so we were not at all concerned about our safety. If you are planning a trip to Montego Bay, I highly recommend this property.

Caribbean Jewel

The Caribbean Jewel was everything that was advertised and more. The staff was beyond amazing. Very attentive and helpful. We had problems with our luggage not arriving and Desmond stayed on top of the communication with a representative at the airport the entire time. Camille was also amazing. She helped with a couple of sensitive needs we had as well as stayed up one night waiting for the delivery of our bags. Chef Beverly created the best meals. We thoroughly enjoyed just relaxing at the villa. I would recommend the Caribbean Jewel to anyone and look forward to going back.

Family Time

We were very happy with our stay. The house, pool and grounds were lovely. The staff were also really great. It was amazing to have home cooked meals out in the warm night air, not to have to clean up after ourselves and to have a butler to arrange things for us! The one thing we did not anticipate was the hilly neighborhood. Walks with strollers and runs were hard and we are a very fit group. We should have realized this because beautiful communities like where this house is tend to be up from the roads that go along the coastline. This slight negative was offset by the amazing views from the house out to the sea. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Jamaica.

Beautiful

From the initial booking and working with property manager Camille to getting to the property the entire process was seamless. Personnel was attentive and personable. Desmond and the team ensured all our needs were met. We elected to cancel a day of excursions to stay on property as it was so beautiful! Kudos to Mrs Beverly the cook who is a true gem! We willl definitely visit again!

Vacation at the Jewel

I just can’t say enough about this villa. It was amazing and full of excitement, but very relaxing at the same time. Everything you read about the house is on point. The view of the ocean and outside living was wonderful. Beverly’s food was out of this world. The staff made us feel very welcomed. Lorraine and Devon where very quick to respond to any questions we had sorry I can’t remember the other two staff members name. I would definitely recommend and would return again. Camile was easy to reach and her response was always quick.Thank you.

Staying at the Jewel

I had a wonderful time here in Jamaica. My family and I really enjoyed the staff. We were not use to anyone catering to us like that. The chef was excellent. The food was just great. Over all everything was just great. I can go on and on but I will come back again. Oh yeah! I got to tell you that our driver Mr. Norman took real good care of us. Great place to stay.

Perfect in every way.

Camille was an incredible and thoughtful host. The entire staff is kind, gentle, and does everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Chef Beverley's food was the best we had, we ate out one night, and in hindsight, there was no need. I was celebrating my 30th, and with Camille's help, we had two very beautifully prepared celebrations at the villa. The full time driver is a must, and Devon, the butler, was incredibly thoughtful and patient with my lively group every day all day. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay!

Camille, Desmond, and all of the staff at the house were absolutely excellent! The house was extremely clean and the staff was meticulous about keeping the rooms in order. The chef was also excellent - there was no need to eat out. Would highly recommend for a family or friends gathering - just remember to bring bug spray!

Absolutely magnificent!

This is my third trip to Jamaica, and my first not staying at an all-inclusive resort. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my friends and I were blown away by the hospitality, care, and dedication of the staff and Camille to ensure we had the most amazing experience. Every single meal was on point, the butler, Desmond, was beyond incredible at working to meet all of our needs and then some. The chef, Beverly, made some of the most incredible, tasty food we’ve EVER had, and it was all incredibly reasonable. Camille also helped to arrange private transportation for our stay, and it was well worth it. The driver, Romaine, was a gem! Absolutely no complaints, except that the trip had to come to an end. We will absolutely be back, and we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else! If you’re on the fence, don’t be! You won’t regret it!

Absolutely Amazing!

Ms. Camille and her staff were absolutely amazing. I chose this villa to celebrate a milestone birthday with 8 of my friends and it was perfect! The staff went above and beyond to make this stay and birthday the most memorable one yet! If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. The Villa itself was stunning, extremely clean, well kept, and literally looks exactly how it is pictured here. However, the service is what truly makes this Villa stand apart. They fulfilled all of our wants and needs, expressed and unexpressed. They were the most attentive, genuine caring, staff ever. The service received here is priceless. The Villa Owner, Ms. Camille is truly a gem. She is easy to reach and hands on with her guest to ensure the best experience ever. A special thank you to Desmond, our amazing Butler. He makes anything happen! and Norman our driver, you wont be late or mislead with any activity or excursion with him! and of course to Ms. Beverly our Chef. The food was DELICIOUS. I would recommend pre-stocking all meals for her to prepare. and last but certainly not least Veronica and Violet who kept our rooms spotless and clothes cleaned at all times. Phenomenal Vacation! Can't Wait To Go Back!

My experience at the Caribbean Jewel was nothing short of AMAZING. Our party of nine women spent five days at Camille’s villa and none of us wanted to leave. From the time we booked, which was several months prior to our stay, Camille was extremely helpful and responded to our many inquires timely. Upon arriving in Montego Bay we were picked up from the airport by the driver Norman. We also utilized him as our full-time driver throughout the duration of the trip, which was the best decision we could have made. Norman was professional, extremely prompt, gracious, and due to his presence, the nine of us felt safe everywhere we went no matter the time of day or night. The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean with breathtaking views. However, none of those things compare to the staff. The butler Desmond’s service was exemplary as he ensured that we had everything we needed at all times. Violet and Veronica kept the home immaculate, and the gardeners kept the grounds gorgeous. Lastly, I must acknowledge Ms. Beverly, the chef, who cooked the most delicious food I’ve ever tasted. Our last night in Jamaica we decided to eat out and we were highly disappointed because the food was nowhere near as delectable as Ms. Beverly’s. We asked her if she would come home with us, but she politely declined. I have never written a review before though I felt I had to share my experience regarding Caribbean Jewel in hopes that others will visit, it is that remarkable.
