Kihei has some of the best weather in Maui and is home to lovers of golf, surfing,snorkeling, paddle boarding, fishing, kite boarding and lots of fabulous restaurants. The weather alone, and the sounds of the ocean just steps from the condo are reasons enough to visit beautiful Maui.

For those who enjoy shopping, Kihei has a number of small boutiques, the nearby Shops at Wailea, and several malls in Kahului.

Nice stay

Enjoyed it immensely. The only negative that I would like to point out is the floors could've used a thorough mopping. Black feet after 5 minutes of walking on it.

Whales!

Beautiful view of the ocean and fish pond. We saw lots of whales and turtles. The downside was the major storm that dropped heavy rain and caused flooding and mud slides all around us, which made travel from the room difficult. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay. Property manager was on top of things and check in was a breeze.

Perfect for our needs

This location worked for our needs. We were only on Maui for the 3 day Maui Invitational and did not really sight see. The only complaint is that the parking stalls were too small for our Ford Expedition. The unit had a nice view of the ocean and pool area.

One Stop Wonderful Stay

Menehune Shores is an all-in-one inclusive destination. Awesome condos with ocean views, immaculate grounds, beach access, pool, restaurant/bar and plenty of parking. I honestly think it’s the best destination in Maui. We have been several times now. Some condos are more updated than others so be mindful when you select your unit. The fall is a great time to go because it’s not hot— it’s just right. And the crowds are somewhere else. Can’t wait to go again. Aloha!

Beautiful Stay in Paradise

Cute 2 bedroom condo with a perfect view. We were able to see local canoes leave the shore every morning and take amazing walks on the beach. This condo is centrally located and has amazing food locations near by. Would definitely book again.

Magical Maui

My family of 5 had a wonderful time in Maui and this property was perfect for us. Spacious, clean, incredible views, and all the comforts of home. The Maui winds are crazy!! But they act as a perfect climate control with the windows open. The pool was great and not too crowded at all. And the beach was right next door. If you wake up early you can see the turtles at the beach! Great location. Many options for dining, shopping, and activities about 1-2 miles down the road. Katie is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Location

Your property was perfect for what we needed. Excellent location, close to shopping, and beautiful beaches outside the door and all along the coast within minutes. This had plenty of space and a loaded kitchen that met all our cooking needs. Loved the view and ocean breeze that swept through the whole apartment. I loved this place and made our first visit to Maui a very memorable one. Thank you!

Incredible views and location! First of all, it’s Maui which is 5-star and then you have stunning views, calm water in the ocean “pond” or bigger waves outside. Great condo!

Beautiful Views

This property is perfectly located. The views off of the lanai are absolutely beautiful. Access to the building and parking were very easy. I would have liked to have had access to a mop or a swiffer to clean up the sand that was inadvertently brought in, but there was a broom, so I made that work. We did have to purchase garbage bags and dish soap, but felt that was not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. There was plenty of silverware and glassware that we mostly used the dishwasher which soap was supplied for. We slept in the king size bed which was so very comfortable with the beautiful breeze coming through the windows! The owner was absolutely a blessing to deal with! I would definitely stay there again!! If you have children, I really feel that this is a perfect property with the shallow rocked area. There is also a turtle resting area just a little bit down the beach which was so awesome to see! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us.

What a great place!

What a wonderful place to stay! Comfortable, quiet, and the sound of the ocean breeze every night. We loved our stay and will definitely be back next time in Maui. Marilyn was an absolute pleasure and super responsive. Don’t hesitate to book!

Great Location and View

Communication with the owner was great and check-in went smoothly. Good location to explore different parts of the island. Condo is right on the beach with an awesome view of the ocean from the patio. Pool, lawn and condo complex were very nice. Condo itself is nice, was clean on check-in and everything worked but it is a little worn down.

A wonderful place!

Marilyn was absolutely an angel! Communication was amazing and so quick. Our condo was clean with the most beautiful views. They thought of everything by stocking it with all our beach needs. We were able to have towels snorkels and chairs to take to the beach with us. Everything was amazing. We would absolutely love to come back and stay.

Beautiful view but the condo needs updating

The view was beautiful, and the location was good unfortunately, the condo is very outdated. There is no air-conditioning in the condo, we knew that ahead of time but several of the reviews and posts made it seem as it was not an issue. Unfortunately, if you are staying in the second bedroom, it is very hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. Parking spaces are also an issue, each unit allows for one parking space and it was often hard to find even one available space. The silverware in the kitchen reminded me of something that would be provided at a high school cafeteria. Our towels in the master bathroom we're dirty. The Rooftop provides a beautiful view of the sunset, unfortunately because of the venting system, the smell from the Indian restaurant in the building overpowers the experience. The rooftop closes at nine which we were unaware of, and since we were there to experience New Year's Eve, we were very disappointed that we could not witness the fireworks from the rooftop also only one of the grills up there work properly. Sadly I would not recommend this place to my family and friends.

Family vacation

This was our 4th time staying in Menehune Shores and our 2nd time in the same unit. We brought our some of our kids and grandkids and actually had 2 units. They all loved it. We love love the location. It is quiet and beautiful. When going to Maui this is always our top choice. Owner communicates very well.

Kihei vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation in Marilyn's condo. The condo, the grounds, the ocean view were all wonderful. Marilyn was very easy to work with and I would definitely stay here and in Kihei again.

Family vacation

The property was in a terrific location and the pictures accurately capture the condo. The facilities are well maintained. We traveled with my elderly mother, who uses a wheel chair. The building has an elevator and the condo layout was easy to navigate. The walk-in shower was perfect for her. We installed a mobile grab bar to improve shower safety. The owner was extremely responsive after I reported a needed repair.

Menehune Shores

Loved walking the beach in the mornings. Bonus is seeing turtles in the lagoon area everyday. Enjoyed nightcaps in the lounge at the Monsoon Restaurant. Pool and barbecue areas were very nice. Looking forward to visiting here again.

I love my unit at Menehune Shores. Kihei has some of the best weather in all of Maui, and I selected Menehune Shores as it is among the very closest to the water. The location is quieter than other condos that are directly in the heart of the bustling restaurant district, yet groceries and additional restaurants are just a mile away.

I have selected and furnished this home with many upgrades. This building is an arc shape and I chose this unit as it offers a great cross breeze with a preferable view and away from the road. I love listening to the sounds of the waves and the 24/7 fantastic view. Beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and boogie board for your use.
