Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath town home located in Santa Rosa Beach. This property is located right of Scenic 30A and just steps from the sugar white sands and emerald green waters of the Emerald Coast. You’re just a stones throw from Gulf Place. This community features restaurants, shopping, cafes, and seasonal concerts. You are just a short drive to all the other wonderful locations 30A has to offer. The Legends is a wonderful quaint complex that offers all the wonderful amenities needed for a vacation destination. Enjoy the community pool, hot tubs, and tennis courts located on property! There is also a volleyball court perfect for a beach vacation. The Legends offers two beach access points located close by.

Often referred to as “the town that began it all”, Santa Rosa Beach is the first established community in South Walton. Today, many of the communities that make up this majestic collection of beachfront developments are technically in Santa Rosa Beach. The most notable is Gulf Place – home to restaurants, bars, shops and galleries. Other attractions include Eden State Garden Park and the Santa Rosa Beach Golf Club. Guests seeking to spend their vacation in Santa Rosa Beach can opt for studio style condos at Gulf Place, large vacation homes with private pools near the beach or beachfront custom homes or townhomes.

Easy Beach Access

Stay here for the proximity to the beach. The unit is on the far west end of The Legends complex. It is a block and a half walk to Spooky Lane Access. It is close enough that you can easily walk back and forth to the beach during the day.

2024 Spring Break

It was comfortable, could use update, carpets/furniture should be replaced. The location is amazing, we’ve been coming to this area for 20+ years. Couple minute walk to the most amazing beaches! The price was a bit lower than other rentals in the area, we could see from the photos what to expect, it was pretty much as anticipated. I’m fine with outdated decor but cleanliness is important. Bedding felt fresh.

Great spot!

Our stay was fantastic. There was good space storage and easy access. The best part was having the beach access right across the street along with options for food within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. They were plenty of towels. The place was basic but comfy! The only suggestions would be to provide a bit more essentials (salt, pepper, coffee filters etc) but we’d definitely stay again!

Great Rental

This is indeed a great rental. Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. It has all the amenities of a home. Would definitely rent again.

Worth the inconveniences of residence, for the beach access

Mostly as previously reviewed, but improvements to kitchen supplies have obviously been rectified, though the problems with all but a few of the vertical binds persist. Clearly guest are unfamiliar with the correct operation of these, it must be a nightmare for owner, managers who clearly aren't repairing what you can get by with anymore. I found several broken pieces as others have said in various places and was able for privacy sake to lean them up against the glass successfully. Best if you bring an eye visor to sleep in for the master suite. I FOUND the dustpan ( it had fallen behind the dryer) and reunited it with the broom in the pantry. I was going to email the managing company about what is clearly a blocked dryer vent , extending dry times in the dryer by 150%. So be aware if staying on the heels of our stay. Also if stairs are a consideration there are 18 from the parking, and an additional 17 to the bedrooms above. Now , for the extremely positives, Location!!! Great close beach access and powerful whirlpool tub. No hassle checkin and out smooth.

We loved the place. Could use some new curtains/blinds. Master bedroom had paper towels for curtains and some of the blinds were broken. Other than that great property. We would stay there again.

Nice but had privacy and maintenance issues

Arrived to find the toilet seat in the guest bedroom broken off and on the floor of the bathroom. Called and it was replaced that day. Master bedroom had no privacy. All of the vertical blinds were damaged and missing many pieces. I can send pics if needed. Found pieces under the bed, and others in a bundle in the closet. Called about this, but understand that these are probably custom so could not repair quickly. Had to make our own curtains using paper towels and tape. Did this same process trough out other areas in the condo or fixed the blinds myself. Found another piece of vertical blind behind the chair on the first floor. Would be nice to have a broom. Nice place, but I felt that I paid too much money to have to deal with these issues.

The blinds upstairs in the bedrooms are for the most part broken, so you have no privacy and the sun shines through in the morning. Just small touches would be nice, take some ownership of your rental.

Excellent location but

I would have given higher marks but, when we arrived and began to set up house we immediately noticed only one of the 3 televisions worked. Soon thereafter we noticed the window coverings in the master suite were in a state of disrepair (we used blankets to cover the windows for privacy). The first morning we learned that the main pool on site was out of service. By the end of the second day the pool was back in operation. The property manager was prompt enough to make repairs to televisions but, I believe this issue and inadequate window coverings sould have been easily remedied by a thorough inspection prior to arrival of guests. For these reasons, I would choose a different property in the future.

Our summer vacation

Fantastic except for the parking. We stayed at the end and the back needs filled in. Other than that the unit was what was expected. Great location. We walked most everywhere we went. Pool area was nice.

Nasty!!!! We found old chip wrappers down in the couch! They had the door put together with a stick!

Terrible. Window was open and wouldn’t close. It smelled soooo bad. We tried to call and get refunded or whatever and no one would help us. The lady we talked to first hang the phone up on us after she was the rudest person ever.

Ok but not great

Overall the property was ok. But there was no can opener in the kitchen and the blinds are in terrible shape. Several were broken in the master bedroom so there was no privacy at all. I probably would not stay here again.

Excellent place! We love everything about our stay. Very easy communication and I loved the app!

They let us check in early which was a bonus for us! The pool is in front of the condo and it’s very clean! We love our stay!

Legends of Santa Rosa

If your only requirements are ICE cold air, clean and close proximity to the beach and surrounding activities, this is for you. It was cited in other reviews as a Basic contractor grade rental — and it is clear that is is a rental that has seen little attention. You receive bare bones provisions. One role of paper towels, three dishwasher packets, three trash bags and three rolls of toilet paper. The TV’s are the size of your laptop screen. The furniture is a mismatch of castoffs. The King mattress is amazingly comfortable while the two doubles are very uncomfortable. The laminate floors are swept but require mopping. The air conditioning filter hadn’t been cleaned in who knows when. Which we would have been happy to do but there are ZERO cleaning supplies besides a broom and a vacuum. The pots and pans and baking dishes and silverware (we had 6 total forks) were upgraded thanks to the AMAZING Ocean Reef gentlemen (i cannot find his name) who redeemed our Ocean Reef experience. I can safely say I will not rent from Ocean Reef again as we were treated as a number. They called on sunday as we traveled to Santa Rosa and told to please not use the second shower as it was leaking. Happy to comply. We Called monday - still not fixed. We Called Tuesday - still not fixed. We Called again Tuesday night saying we would use the shower and Ocean Reef sent the BEST guy (again cannot find his name) . He looked it up and the plumber had come early Monday. Odd no one at the 1-800 numbers knew that or called us. Emails weren’t returned from April to leave date and on question Calls were told ‘ to assume nothing is there’ and ‘call them if we needed something’. Interesting approach. So if you book after us, the kitchen supplies are much better — you even have scissors. Again thanks to the SUPER Ocean Reef gentleman who even got the kitchen sink cabinet to close and stay closed versus continuing to hit you in the knee :). Please be careful as the driveway in is SUPER narrow and the pilings are narrow to back in and out. Yes, our vehicle has a new tattoo. Overall sun, sand and a/c yielded a great family trip.
