We were very happy with the cleanliness of the condo. Kitchen is well stocked, though you should plan for your own seasonings/Ziplocs etc. there's plenty of towels, beach equipment, bedding and pillows. Brian was a great host and quickly answered any questions. Our family of 4 had plenty of space. Something to note is that the AC is only in the bedroom so if it's particularly hot the living room is not very comfortable, though there are plenty of fans. Overall we were happy and would stay there again.

The condo was perfect for the 2 of us. It's located in a quiet area of The Palms. Since we were on the upper level, we enjoyed the open lanai (sunny) as well as the shaded covered area often. Well furnished with everything you need, whether for cooking or beach-going. We loved our time on Maui and so happy to have found Brian and Marie-Christine's unit, it was exactly what we were looking for. Brian was an excellent host and we felt well taken care of. Especially when Hurricane Lala came knocking, he made sure we were safe. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We had an absolutely awesome stay in Maui. We come to Maui twice a year and have stayed at multiple VRBO’s. The condo we stayed in was absolutely perfect. It was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities needed. Just like we were at home! We are already planning our next trip and definitely will book this condo again!

Host had prompt communication and property grounds are great; as is the location. But clean, maintained unit in pictures/described in many of the latest reviews was pretty dirty, in need of maintenance, and didn't match what was presented online.
Grout is light in color; maybe a light grey or off white. It is now mostly stained black with dirt and what seems to be mold/mildew in patches
Both of these dimmer units are falling apart; should they finally break further they would pose electrical hazard.
Many bits of grout in this tub are missing; likely mold growth behind the tile/tub. Tub is stained and much of the light colored grout is again dirty and seems moldy/mildew stained
Who knows when the bed headboard was last dusted. You can see the thick coat of dust compared to where we wiped down. Thick coat of dust was on all blinds and many surfaces of unit.

Lovely stay at Brian’s condo! Lots of beach items to use which was just brilliant - cool box, chairs, umbrella, noodles etc! Lovely, comfy big bed, we slept so well! Brian allowed us to check-in early which was really appreciated. Fantastic host, thank you!

We had booked Brian’s condo for our honeymoon and it was exactly as advertised. Brian was super keen on having the place clean and also provided some lovely recommendations around the island while being available for any questions we had during our stay. 10/10 will be back again.

A Nice Place to Stay

The condo was very clean when we arrived and provided everything we needed for our stay in Maui. Location is great for nearby shopping, fine dining, snorkeling, and so many beautiful beaches within a 5-10 minutes drive. Large lanai is great for relaxing on and has both sun and shade places to sit depending on what you want.

Really nice stay

I really enjoyed the condo at the palms. We had a good space, nice balcony, and it also came with some of the necessities for laundry and dishes. I would have liked to know clearly it had central air or not, but we made it work with the bedroom air and windows. I would definitely stay here again.

Great open floor plan, spacious lanai and location. The property and pool are beautiful and quiet. This unit is fairly dated and has some deferred maintenance. It could also use a deep clean. Basics cookware is available . However, there are no spices, cooking oils, etc. No extra toilet tissue or paper towels beyond what were in the rollers . There is only one small AC unit in the bedroom so the unit was pretty hot in the afternoon.

Great location, enough room for 4

We loved this location in Wailea. Its is not a short walk to the beach but we used it as a home base to explore the beaches in the area. The unit was well equipped and spacious— enough room for our family with 2 college aged kids. This complex is a bit dated compared to others but the communication with the owners is great and the location excellent!

Unit was clean and as expected from the listing. The description of the unit lists a bbq on the lanai. Unfortunately, there is no bbq on the lanai. Please update the listing for future guests. Thanks.

Wonderful!

My 12 year old and I just stayed at this unit. It was very clean, spacious, close to the pool and beach! Location in Wailea is perfect-close to shops and restaurants. We loved it and will definitely go back and stay again. The hosts were lovely and very attentive. They helped us with suggestions, things to do and were prompt in replying to our questions. Thank you Brian and Marie-Christine!!

We very much enjoyed our 7-night stay in this Palms condo. Brian was an excellent host as he was always available to answer our questions and did everything to ensure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The unit is exactly as pictured and was complete with everything we needed. We really appreciated all the beach items – towels, chairs, and umbrella, along with the hard side cooler which we used everyday as we visited every corner of the island during our stay. We valued the proximity to town with the beaches, restaurants, and grocery store five to ten minutes away yet just a few minutes from Highway 31 making it a good base for the longer day trips to Hana and Haleakalā. Hopefully, we will return to Maui soon, and with any luck we will rebook with Brian for that vacation.
