Welcome to DragonFly Lite a single family home in Marathon, FL the heart of the beautiful Florida Keys, the house has 2 bedrooms a Queen in the master and 2 twins in the guest room, one bathroom + an outdoor shower, all the towels you will need for the pool or beach (please leave the sand outside). Kitchen is stocked with basics , so there is everything you need to cook up a storm, enjoy! Living area has a large TV, comfortable seating. Your own heated saltwater pool & patio area is complete with a gas grill, outdoor dining and seating areas to enjoy. Off street parking for your car & boat. A 10 minute drive to Sombrero Beach, voted best beach in the Keys. Less than a mile walk to Seven Mile Bridge. Plenty of shopping on Marathon and you are just an hour from Key West.
Dragonfly Lite!! is a wonderful island getaway for a couple or family looking to come to the keys to kick back, relax and enjoy each other’s company. A special place to celebrate your honeymoon or anniversary a wonderful retreat for you and your family to enjoy. We look forward to hearing from you.

Amazing!!! Was a beautiful, private, oasis with our very own pool! The house was extremely clean and well stocked with pretty much anything you needed. Loved the outdoor shower. Jerry was fantastic with tips on places to eat or visit.

The BEST vacation home in Marathon for a small family!! My family of four (including two boys, 3 and 6) just ended our stay at Dragonfly Lite and are already dreaming of going back. The property is clean, comfortable and a perfect base for exploring Marathon and the surrounding Keys. The beds are super comfortable for sleeping and the AC keeps the house nice and cool for a break after you’ve been in the sun all day. Outdoor shower was just as awesome as we remembered! Kitchen and grill area are perfect for cooking any meals! We had a great suggestion from Jerry this trip to try Kings Seafood Market and cooked a few amazing dinners of shrimp and fish. You can walk to a few great restaurants, Porky’s was our favorite this trip! We also walked to Lazy Days South for dessert at sunset and to the 7 mile bridge for sunset one evening. (Beware of the bugs with this walk but the views are a must see whether you walk or drive.) Our other must do’s from this trip were Bahia Honda Sandspur Beach (just over the 7 mile bridge from the house) and the Butterfly Conservatory (Key West.) We spent the majority of our mornings exploring Marathon (beach, snorkeling, jet skis, aquarium, shopping) then swimming in the pool mid day, and enjoying fresh seafood dinner early evening before watching the sunset. If this sounds like your dream vacation, you have found the place! Thank you so much to Jerry and Lynn for creating this perfect piece of paradise and sharing it. We will absolutely be back!!

Wonderful hosts. Property was clean, neat and well supplied. Cottage was welcoming and lovingly decorated. Grounds with pool, table with umbrella, and cabana made relaxing outside a perfect place to kick back and enjoy life.

This was a great property in the heart of the Keys. Our family of four, had plenty of room in this house and it had everything we could ask for. It is an hour to Key West, an hour up to Islamorda and close to everything in Marathon. We walked to Lazy Days South, 7 Mile Grill, Castaways (saw mantaee's) for food and even walked over to 7 Mile Bridge to see a sunset.The pool is the highlight of the property. We used it everyday and it was very tough to get my 14 year old out of the pool. The best was enjoying the pool in the late evening, floating and watching the stars above.The house was clean and had everything we needed. We did laundry one, fridge was plenty big enough for a weeks stay (mostly holding left-overs, as we enjoyed all the great restaurants). The A/C was perfect to get our of the July heat & humidity. The outdoor clothes hanger was indispensable to dry our swim suits and beach towels.Jerry was great, constant contact, even popped over at 9pm for a fix. He was there when we arrived and showed us all around the house & property, making us feel instantly welcomed. His recommendations were spot on.

Excellent stay, the property was our own private oasis, barely left the entire stay, the backyard is phenomenal, everything we needed was right there! Excellent communication with Jerry from directions to restaurant ideas. We can’t wait to go back.

Lynne and Jerry were great and so is their place. Well stocked on all points, their local restaurant recommendations we went to and not one disappointed. We really enjoyed ourselves, we would love to return and stay forever! Thank you for every detail, you’re the best!

Just what we needed after a chaotic and sometimes stressful last year or so. Comfortable place with a pool that was perfect to paddle around in, do a version of some water aerobics moves, and enjoy the jacuzzi action. It felt more like a family home than an impersonal rental. We did nothing but read and enjoy the pool. We walked to the restaurant at the marina and had some good food. Even though we just stayed around the pool, there's tons to do around there. We plan on going back.

The owner, Jerry, was quick to respond and very helpful when needed. The property was extremely private and the pool was excellent! The outdoor shower was key for me! I don't think I ever toook one inside. The house itself was a perfect size for my wife and I and the location was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Lovely getaway home

Perfect for my wife and I .The pool area was the best. Many restaurants were nearby with good selections. Only an hour to Key west.

Great Vacation Home

We enjoyed the amazing outdoor space everyday! The home was well supplied and perfect for our vacation. The owners gave us great tips on the area and were more than accommodating. We would definitely return to Dragonfly Lite!

Very nice, lovely stay. Backyard is very relaxing, house is just right size. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Bridge is walking distance. Has about anything you need to start your stay.

Private Oasis

This was our first time visiting the Keys. It was so nice to be able to escape and enjoy our own private oasis and pool!! Loved the location and beautiful home!!

Poolside Paradise

This was our first visit to the Keys and we were very pleased. The house is cozy and clean, and the outdoor pool area is phenomenal. Jerry and Lynn were wonderful hosts. The only bad part of the trip was returning to central Illinois weather.

Wonderful week vacation

We had a wonderful relaxing week in Marathon thanks in part to this great vacation property. The pool was fantastic. Landscaping beautiful. Jerry was so friendly and Barbie was great showing us everything the property has to offer.
