Welcome to DragonFly Lite a single family home in Marathon, FL the heart of the beautiful Florida Keys, the house has 2 bedrooms a Queen in the master and 2 twins in the guest room, one bathroom + an outdoor shower, all the towels you will need for the pool or beach (please leave the sand outside). Kitchen is stocked with basics , so there is everything you need to cook up a storm, enjoy! Living area has a large TV, comfortable seating. Your own heated saltwater pool & patio area is complete with a gas grill, outdoor dining and seating areas to enjoy. Off street parking for your car & boat. A 10 minute drive to Sombrero Beach, voted best beach in the Keys. Less than a mile walk to Seven Mile Bridge. Plenty of shopping on Marathon and you are just an hour from Key West.
Dragonfly Lite!! is a wonderful island getaway for a couple or family looking to come to the keys to kick back, relax and enjoy each other’s company. A special place to celebrate your honeymoon or anniversary a wonderful retreat for you and your family to enjoy. We look forward to hearing from you.

Poolside Paradise

This was our first visit to the Keys and we were very pleased. The house is cozy and clean, and the outdoor pool area is phenomenal. Jerry and Lynn were wonderful hosts. The only bad part of the trip was returning to central Illinois weather.

Dragonfly Lite

Beautiful outdoor patio, amazing pool, and a very well air conditioned house. We had a great week here, only thing we wished was different was the jacuzzi connected to the pool was the same temperature as the pool, other than that, fantastic host and property.

Private Oasis

This was a much needed break! Dragon fly lite was absolutely perfect in every way. Jerry and Barbie were great at communicating. I enjoyed the peaceful vibe, the pool area is incredible!

Wonderful week vacation

We had a wonderful relaxing week in Marathon thanks in part to this great vacation property. The pool was fantastic. Landscaping beautiful. Jerry was so friendly and Barbie was great showing us everything the property has to offer.

Wonderful!

Perfect home base to enjoy the beautiful Florida Keys! We divided our time between exploring Marathon and relaxing poolside. The owners have made this home a private resort-style destination unmatched by any other place we stayed. Already looking forward to another visit!

Private Oasis

Wonderful stay and property!

We much enjoyed our week at the Dragonfly Lite. The communication from the owner and property manager is excellent, timely, fast. The home is nicely decorated and very clean. The pool and the entire backyard is visually very pleasant, comfortable, clean, and perfect for a family. We loved the privacy fence that the property provided. You won’t be disappointed staying here!

Fantastic property in paradise!

We had an amazing time at Dragonfly Lite! The house was spotless, Jerry and Barbie were wonderful, the pool was superb….I could go on and on about what a fantastic time we had. We will absolutely be booking this property again!

Enjoyed the Keys Outdoors

We had a great time at the Dragonfly Lite! The outdoor area and pool were exceptional! We really enjoyed use of the outdoor shower, as well! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Jerry was incredibly helpful leading up to and during the stay, as was Barbie, our property manager.

Absolutely wonderful!

We loved staying at the Dragonfly Lite! It was so clean and well kept! The backyard and pool were a true oasis and so beautiful and relaxing! We loved everything about staying here! Jerry met us and showed us around the property and talked with us about things to do in the area and made sure we knew we could call at anytime if needed. We absolutely will stay here if we are able to come back! Thank you, Jerry!

Great stay even with a Hurricane!!

This place is a hideaway with the way the owners have it set up! When you walk through the gate your private paradise. Even before and after the storm the owner and caretaker was checking on us making sure everything was a great experience! I have stayed a lot in the "Keys" and this has been my favorite !!!

Our best trip to the keys yet

Dragonfly Lite exceeded our expectations! We have always stayed in resorts but decided to try something different this year and we were so happy. The pool was amazing and the house felt like home. The neighborhood was quiet and in the best spot in Marathon in my opinion.

Tropical oasis

The process to rent this property was easy. The owner always answered emails promptly and very helpful. He made recommendations for things to do in area and places to eat. The property was quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

Backyard paradise

Perfect yard to relax. Sitting areas, grilling area beautiful swimming pool and fresh bananas. House was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small but functional. Close to restaurants, mini golf, sunset cruise and the old 7mi. bridge thats perfect for walking, keep an eye on the water we saw sea turtles and stingrays. The sun sets right across the street. It was very quiet during our stay

Excellent stay

Our family with young children enjoyed staying at Dragonfly Lite. It was so comfortable and well stocked with supplies. Our kids loved the pool so much. We brought our boat with and used the marina at the end of the street. We barely used our boat because the outdoor patio/pool of the house was so relaxing. Thank you for letting us make some amazing memories at your house! We can’t wait to come back soon :)

Best vacation we have had! The house is cozy and the pool area is amazing!

The house was so clean and cozy! Everything you would need is there! The yard and pool is so relaxing and the landscaping is beautiful! You can tell the minute you open the gate that the owners take pride and love it! The beachy colors and comfy outdoor furniture will make you not want to leave!! The house is super clean....beds are very comfortable....and the linens are very soft and comfortable! We plan on making this a yearly summer trip and making dragonfly lite our home away from home!

Hidden Marathon Gem!

This little hideaway was perfect for my family. It’s right off of US 1 but with it being tucked away with fence & trees, you would never know! The house is cozy and they have made a great use of space. I primarily booked it for pool and cabana because my kids loved to swim daily! Breakfast or dinner under the patio was fantastic. Great Marathon location, close to all our favorites (Turtle Hospital, Keys Fisheries, the Stuffed Pig, Publix) Jerry (the host) was a great communicator Before we checked out, I booked for next July!

AMAZING VACATION

Dragonfly Lite was all it said it was and more. My favorite was the pool and the amazing outdoor shower!! The only negative thing was my friend having to sleep on the couch all week because the new twin beds were hard as brick! Other than that, we had a wonderful time!! Thanks to Jerry and Barbie for making our stay great!!

Great Florida Keys Vacation

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Dragonfly Cottage. The location of the house allowed us access to several options for things to do with our son. The pool was amazing and our son always wanted to be in it. The house was very comfortable for our family of three and I was surprised at how much stuff was available for us to prepared meals. I also want to add that any time we had a question Barbie and Jerry were always easy to get in touch with to answer our questions. We had a great time spending the week down in the Keys.
