Direct River and Beach access from our deck. Winter Sports paradise! Only 15 miles from Government Camp,OR. Downhill skiing is only 15 miles away Cross country is only 23 miles. Snowshoeing is five miles. Year-round skiing at nearby Timberline Lodge, summer training for the US Olympic Team. Snowmobiling and Kid friendly ( the gate to the river can be locked) with one bedroom on the main floor, it's perfect to bring grandma and grandpa along.
During the summer time enjoy hiking, jogging, walking and bike riding right out the front door. Sandy Ridge Trailhead
1 mile for mountain biking( all skill levels),Twenty seven holes of Golf are only six miles away at the award winning Inn at The Mountain. Rafting, kayaking, fishing, you name it!.
Come enjoy a stunning view, gather friends and family. Sleeps as many as 14! Perfect for large gatherings with a fully stocked kitchen, large living and dining space! Bedrooms: Master suite with seating area and Cable TV , 3 Bedrooms with queen size beds, Bunk room for Children sleeps 5~6 with Cable TV .Dining room has a large log style table and seats 12. Living room has two seating areas with large big screen TV, DVD player . WIFI through the house.
Large two level deck facing the river. A hot tub overlooking the river will inspire all.

Our group of ten enjoyed their time at this beautiful spot on the Sandy River. The deck was great and the sound of the river while soaking in the tub was really nice. Thanks for making it available!

Beautiful property, amazing place for a little getaway. Perfectly suited for a group event with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of beds. The hot tub was definitely the best part!!

The location is wonderful and the house is so spacious, it was perfect for our large family. We had plenty of options and things to do, swimming in the pool, playing tennis or hiking trails. The views are spectacular. The kitchen has everything you need, lots of pots and pans to make food for a crowd. The hot tub was the perfect spot to relax in. This is a great house for large families.

We had an amazing time and the house was perfect! Communication and check in with the owners was easy and great. The house was incredibly clean and was appointed with everything you might need. There are tons of beds and lots of space for everyone. The deck is amazing and we spent most of our time just relaxing outside. This was our 2nd time renting this place and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Amazing cabin! Plenty of space for our group of 14, including parking. The hot tub was in great shape. The deck and view are outstanding. Access to the river was easy and gorgeous. Would definitely stay again

The space is amazing especially for big groups. We had 14 women…the big table was able to accommodate us all for meals, the hot tub was very relaxing and the massage chair was a huge plus considering I fell and hurt my back the morning of our arrival. There was plenty of seating inside and out.The only thing I didn’t like is there was an additional fee not mentioned in the listing for Clackamas County. I worked with Chris on the fee, but really feel it should be mentioned in the listing or added to the nightly rate to avoid these issues later. A few of the ladies mentioned the mattresses being uncomfortable, but I think that’s probably common with most places as they are not what we are used to.Overall though we would totally book again and already have for next year!!

Hot tub was great, the house was clean and it’s next to impossible to beat that view! Chris was super helpful and Linda was also great, they both gave us some fantastic info to make for a fun and easy fishing weekend.

Beautiful home with enough bedrooms for each one of our family to have their own. The scenery was amazing with the river. Everything was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked.

We had the best time at this VRBO! We had a group of 13 people and never felt like we were too cramped or missing items. A few of the best parts include the location, hot tub, river/beach access, and kitchen. The host, Chris, and housekeeper, Linda, are wonderful and incredibly easy to work with. I definitely recommend staying here!

House was beautifully decorated in log cabin style furniture. Plenty of wood to keep the fire going and the house cozy. Kitchen had all the utensils and many extras in the pantry. The house keeper stopped by with a cake even to help celebrate the 50th birthday celebrations so a extra thank you for the wonderful surprise. The whole family really loved the house for so many reasons. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

We had a wonderful stay here! The location is great and the view of the river is absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed how spacious the house was and the large dining room table was big enough for all 10 of us to comfortably sit around and eat or play games. There were plenty of places for people to spread out and do their own thing or come together as a group. The hot tub was used regularly and was a wonderful amenity. We felt we had almost everything we needed and a few extras too.

We loved having our women’s weekend there. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked it for next year!The view cannot be beat. There is nothing like sitting in the hot tub and watching the roaring river. There were 12 of us, and the space was great for us. We were able to all sit at the table for meals and games. There was a regular fridge and a small fridge. The living room easily accommodated all of us on couches and chairs. They left more than enough wood for us to keep fires going through the weekend. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. So fun!!

We bought Sandy River Lodge many years ago and all of those who have visited call it "a little bit of heaven" by the river! Groups during the winter months have stood outside singing Christmas carols as snow fell around them! Others have enjoyed the warm summer month, sunbathing on the deck overlooking the river! A hot tub provides relaxation while the sounds of the river whisk away stress!
