Beautiful location- in the midst of nature but not far from Portland. Cozy upper floor bedrooms with comfortable beds. Lower floor bedroom has squeaky bed. Well appointed kitchen and living room, great spacious deck. Hot tub was perfect!

This is a wonderful place for a family get together. The cabin was spotless, well equipped and well maintained. There were plenty of sleeping options and space to spread out in. Great place to make memories!
The beautiful Sandy river runs right by the cabin.

The cabin was wonderful, had the cabin feel with all the conveniences. Property is beautiful with the river so close. And we appreciated the hot tub after hiking

Gorgeous place for our multi generational family to relax and enjoy natural beauty of summertime Oregon, with all the amenities! There’s so much attention to detail here in both the inside and outside spaces. The huge back patio is incredible, with a giant picnic table, sheltered and open air seating, shady and sunny spots, gas range BBQ, hot tub and easy barefoot access to the Sandy River’s edge. We sat outside and bird watched in the daytime, listening to the soothing sounds of river rushing over rocks. The private river access — after a careful walk across the exposed rocks— was next-level incredible, offering us a refreshing swimming hole with a natural eddy perfect for playing on intertubes or floating in easy peace. At night we warmed ourselves outside by the gas fire. The over head lighting added a magical touch. The inside spaces were also lovely. Everyone slept well in cozy beds, in nicely appointed rooms. We will definitely be back!

Great House for a Family-Filled Weekend

Great house for hosting extended family. We stayed the weekend with family to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was a great spot to hang out and play card games. Close proximity to Mt Hood, where we also spent some time playing in the snow.

Sandy cabin

Great place. Plenty of space with an incredible view. There were only 4 of us but could easily accommodate 8. We used it as a base camp for day trips which worked out well. Will recommend to others.

Beautiful Getaway

We came to the area for a family wedding, and our family very much enjoyed this little oasis! Kids enjoyed playing in the river behind the gorgeous home, and we all enjoyed the gathering spaces both inside and out on the porch. Hosts were very kind and responsive. Would recommend!

Off the beaten path

Loved the setting! The back deck and river was the highlight and we wish we could have stayed longer. Home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Screens on the windows were perfect for sleeping with the sounds of the river flowing. Clean and fun get away. Thanks!!

Rustic and Luxurious at Once

First time using VRBO. Cool, clean, large cabin style home home with access to a deep swimming hole right outside, and a hot tub to warm up in afterward. Extremely comfortable and cozy inside, close to restaurants and store. Stayed 2 nights and definitely want to visit again, but for longer. Hosts were instantly responsive when I emailed w/ questions and that was awesome and helped me feel ready for my trip. Really a cool place to stay.

Family get together

Beautiful hidden gem. We were all skeptical at first driving to the property at night and confused by the look at the front of the house, we saw the lockbox, went inside, turned on the lights and felt and instant relief and left us in awe as we explored how gorgeous the backyard and rooms were. Thank you Jonah!

Beautiful!! Bigger than expected.

We had a really nice time but I will say that the outside part of the property was not wet weather friendly. The roof that covers the patio leaks when it rains and there's no cover over the hot tub, which makes it unusable when it's raining. The house itself is gorgeous and full of most of the amenities that you need, which saves on the need to pack bulky items. The river is much much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Like much much bigger!!! LOL Communication with the host was amazing and quick. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful property with us.
