Start planning for 27 at our 2 Bedroom 1.5 bath Close to Leland and Suttons Bay

Time to think about your 2027 trip to Leelanau county. Do you just want to do some Kayaking, Biking, Boating and Hiking we are close to it all including The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore, multiple wineries and distilleries . Master bedroom has one king size bed, second bedroom has queen size bed also a full and twin bunk bed. Air conditioning in both bedrooms. New for 2022 a half bathroom. Internet access available upon arrival. Living room with flat-screen TV. Ruko only(in vacation mode, bring your own password. you set the date when they erase.), no cable. A new couch and love seat added in 2019. Newly remodeled kitchen and dining room for 2024, gas stove, microwave and full size fridge and we just added a dishwasher. Just bring your groceries. Also a full size washer and dryer. Fire pit and gas grill. Sets in the woods off of a main bike route, Eagle Hwy. Central to Leland (10 min.), Suttons Bay (15 min.), Northport (20 min.), Lake Leelanau (7 min). Glen Arbor/Empire is about a 30/35 minute drive to get to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Great day trip! Also a great location to access the many wineries the county has to offer. Pack & Play with bedding, high chair available upon request.

We had a great stay while attending a wedding in the area. Centrally located to lots of great attractions too. Bonus that our pups were able to come with us. Mike was a great host.

As always the property is clean, peaceful, and quiet. It's at the heart of Michigan wine country, great beaches, and Fishtown. Always family friendly and very accommodating. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Check in was super easyHouse nice and clean Quiet nights for sleeping (even for an afternoon nap) and close to a bunch of fun places and things to do non stopThe ability to do laundry was awesome so we didn’t have a bunch of dirty clothes to wash after getting homeStrongly suggest The Hop Lot in Suttons BayPlace was packed but we had a blast Great food and drinksWe would definitely stay here again

Extremely well stocked rental with everyone our family needed for our two week stay. Comfortable beds, plenty of cooking supplies and full kitchen was a huge plus, AC’s in the bedrooms, washer and dryer. Perfect central location to all the Leelanau Peninsula has to offer. Host was extremely responsive to any needs that arose. Ample parking with a nice lawn for our puppy and kids to enjoy as well as a ping pong table. Internet was on the slower side in this area of Michigan, which was completely fine for us, but could be hard if you’re trying to work during your stay. Would absolutely stay here again and/or recommend to others wanting to stay in this area.

This house was perfect for my husband and I. We appreciated that it was dog friendly. Most of the restaurants were dog friendly which was also helpful.It was clean and well stocked with bedding, towels, dishes and baking items. It was in the best location for all of our day trips, most close by. There are so many things to do, especially if you like to walk the different beaches or hike a few trails. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very quick to respond to the few questions we had. Checkout was easy.

This property is a great home-away-from-home. We had everything we needed to feel comfortable and cook our own meals. The kids enjoyed the ping-pong table in the garage, and the fire pit was great for relaxing in the evening and making s'mores. We appreciated having everything labeled around the house so that we could quickly and easily locate everything we needed.The location is great too, being central to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes/Glen Arbor, Historic Fishtown, and Grand Traverse Lighthouse. The grocer in Lake Leelanau made shopping quick and easy, not to mention the dozens of farm stands you come across. The only complaint was the farmers managing the cherry orchard across the street, which had machinery going what seemed like 24 hours a day, but that just happened to be the timing of the cherry season. Eventually we blocked it out as white noise outside, and you couldn't really hear it inside the house with the windows closed, especially with the A/C or fans going.

Perfect stay. This place is great. Bigger than I’d had worried, and the location is ideally placed smack dab in the middle of the peninsula. If you go, I highly recommend watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the front porch.

Great vacation house

This was a perfect location for everything we wanted to do. The house has everything you need to relax and enjoy Leelanau. Everything was super clean and comfortable.

John & Carol Coldwell have lived and raised their family of 3 daughters in Leelanau County over the last 50+ years. They are both retired from the State of Michigan and now spend their free time working on the family fruit and vegetable farm. Family is very important to both John & Carol as they enjoy spending time with their 10 grandchildren as often as they can.

John & Carol Coldwell bought this property after Carol's mother moved from the location. They wanted to have some control over who their neighbor would be. After renting it as a monthly rental for years, they recently decided to try it as a weekly rental property to better maintain the property.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Across the road from the rental is a cherry orchard and the rental itself sets on an 80 acer cherry & fruit/vegetable farm the owners run and maintain. The lake (Lake Leelanau) is about a 3 minute drive from the house or a few minutes by bike. Leland, Lake Leelanau & Suttons Bay are all within 15 minutes by car. The house welcomes family pets and offers a green lawn as well. Find your own piece of paradise to escape to with a good book, a board game with family or making your own meals while the essentials are all there for your use.
