Great location a trivial walking distance from grocery, restaurants, distillery, etc., right on the "Narrows" connecting the two big portions of the lake. Everything was as advertised and basically perfect for our group of 3. Clean. Comfortable. Functional. Exactly what we were looking for.

Fantastic stay! The property owner and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The little town was wonderful…just the best super chill vibe. We totally enjoyed a day out on the lake with their pontoon boat rental. Will was great with his send off that morning. Everything was just terrific. Thank you for sharing this property, Hilary!!

Perfect location!

Great location… between everything ‘up north’… Pedaling Beans, Nitolos, and Fiddleheads all within two blocks… wonderful kayaking…beautiful sunsets… hiking and biking trails abound…

Delightful getaway

Thoughtfully appointed; gracious hosts; relaxing setting with large lawn, fire pit, boating. Nestled in a 'cove' a few blocks to walk everywhere - food, coffee, drinks, post office, church. Would clarify "European kitchen" for longer stays.

The Narrows

Property was just as advertised. It was a quiet week just after the Labor Day holiday and we had the place to ourselves. Very peaceful. Great view of the Narrows - we saw otters, swans, herons, you name it. Friendly hosts and walking/biking distance to all the peninsula has to offer.

Great property and location

We enjoyed being on the Narrows for our first time in Northern Michigan. Easy access to many sites (Leland, Dunes and Traverse City++) and also plenty to do right where we were. The property was clean and had a great perch to check out the boats passing through. Kids loved the fire pit, walking on the docks looking for fish and kayaking out to the North Lake. We didn’t have time to rent a Pontoon boat but you can do that too. Friendly staff and easy check in process. A perfect place to disconnect and relax.

Perfect spot on The Narrows

We wanted a central location that allowed us to easily shoot over to Leland, Northport or Suttons Bay, and then Glen Arbor or Traverse City. This loft was perfect. We had free access to kayaks, SUPs and fishing poles. The market, coffee shop and a few restaurants are in close walking distance. Lake Leelanau is a charming (very small) town in an incredible location. The 2nd story deck at the property is an excellent place to lounge with a drink after a long day of hiking/swimming/boating, watching the boats idle through The Narrows while taking in the breeze and watching the sunset.

The loft was clean and was outfitted as advertised, the problem is MAINTENANCE ISSUES. Could not get the TV or the AC to work - - and AC was a major factor in choosing this place. (We've stayed in other places that provided operation instructions for TV...AC.....hot-tub....ect....) Also, multiple light bulbs were out, one of the floor standing fans did not work, one of the light switches was dislodged from the wall hanging by wires, the bathroom fan and light above the shower did not work, and the windows were generally, difficult to open. Bed mattress was too soft / had a large divot on the left side. WIFI worked well, and microwave and refrigerators worked fine. Location was great.

A lovely loft

Artfully laid out and nicely decorated. Lovely views and we made good use of the easy access to the water right out the front door. Super location for reaching all Leelanau County has to offer. A small standard refrigerator would be helpful rather than the minifridges provided.
