Excellent weekend

The house is in a great location. Very clean, nice bedrooms and bathroom. Great furnished balcony’s on both floors.

Close to beach

This place is a short walk from the beach and Pier Fun shops and restaurants all around. Lots of beach gear available to use was a big plus!

A great place, close to the beach

A great place to stay just a couple minutes' walk to the beach, pier, and downtown San Clemente. Our host responded quickly when needed, though not needed much as the place was great. Would definitely look to stay there again on future visits to the area.

Great Beach Access

We had a great 5 days with our adult children. Our boys walked to the beach each day and surfed while we went to Disney on 2 of the days (under an hour's drive).

Great location and setup

The location was great and just a couple minute walk to beach. The house had all the supplies we needed for kitchen, beach, comfy beds. The host was great at communicating and very helpful. Would recommend and stay again.

Great Location!

Location was very close to the pier. It only took us 5 minutes to walk to Fisherman's Wharf for happy hour. The condo was very clean and well appointed.

Location for the win!

The property was perfect for our family of 4 for 6 nights in SoCal. Was able to hangout in San Diego and LA for a couple days enjoying the PCH as much as possible!

Great Vacation

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Great condo, with a short walk to charming shops and, of course, the beach. Tracy, the owner, is incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. We’ll be back!

Vacation at the Beach

Tracy's home was so inviting, so close to downtown and the pier. She had everything we needed for the beach and all the amenities to vacation with kids. We will definitely be returning!

Loved our stay!

Great access to the beach. Tracy was very responsive. Love the living area and decks. Came for a girlfriends trip. We were able to hang out and have fun, and walk out and enjoy the scenery and area as well.

Great location!

Furniture (couch, master bed mattress) could use an upgrade and glassware. Otherwise, fabulous! Great views, new dining room table and outdoor furniture were great. Location, beach toys, etc. spot on! We look forward to our next stay!

The Sweetest Spot

San Clemente is the perfect beach town, and this property is in an amazing location, just a block from the beach. Tracy was a gracious host, and she gave us lots of tips on the best local experiences. We had a miscommunication that delayed our check in a bit, but Tracy bent over backwards to make it right, and gave us an extra late checkout to help us on our departure.

Best of the best

We have stayed all over the US in numerous VRBO properties. We have had lovely properties with amazing hosts but have to say this property and host was a five star in every area!! Host communicates quickly and considerately. Property pristinely clean and more than adequately stocked. Location is truly a minute walk to beach and same to charming restaurants. My family will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Beach stay

We enjoyed our stay in San Clemente. Our only problem was that it was very lived in. Every drawer in the bathrooms were filled, the kitchen cupboards were full. The cleanliness was not great. Location was awesome and Tracy was very accommodating. I would rent there again without question.

Great location

This property has a lot of potential; a few things could make it better. Closets and cupboards are full of what we assume are owner's personal items so there was little room for storage of clothing and suitcases. Also the kitchen smoke alarm was missing, and furnace/hot water tank closets should not be used as storage as this could be a fire hazard. We loved the convenient location and quiet neighborhood. This unit is well suited for families with kids.

Steps to the beach!

We really enjoyed both decks to sit and relax and read. Everything we needed was in this house including beach chairs, wagons, umbrellas, toys, towels. Love that there were 3 bathrooms and 2 showers! It was so close to the beach, restaurants & shops. We love the town of San Clemente, and riding the trolley for free is a huge bonus! It has a small view of the ocean from kitchen, but that’s okay since it’s just a short walk, grab a coffee and enjoy it on the beach or pier.

Great location, awesome place

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Super location with short walk to beach access. Surfed everyday near the pier. Parking at this property is great, since you're so close the the beach/pier access, street parking is tricky, but with this property you have a great driveway, and a garage included, so parking is super easy. Property is clean and nice, plenty of room for us (4 adults + teenager), and a great deck area to enjoy. Short drive up to Camino Real, and you can get food (dining out), or groceries to eat at this home. The view from the kitchen is really amazing, thanks for a great stay. We'll come again.....

Close to Beach

Property was in a great location, just a 5 minute walk down to beach and a couple restaurants. Remember that you must walk back up! While it looked cute in pictures, some furnishings were dated and cabinets needed repainting inside and out. Kind of dirty. Too much junk around, way too many pillows on couches inside and out. It had been raining for days and balcony was flooded and unusable. Much better drainage needed and outdoor furniture should have been covered. Was soaked through. Mattresses were too soft and one of the comforters was older and dirty. There was no place to put luggage in the secondary bedroom so one couple had to use the third bedroom just to set their luggage on the bed there. No chest for clothes. We made the best of it and enjoyed the area. Good central location to visit several other towns in the area.

Lovely Location with excellent spaces

As noted by ALL the reviews, this property has great parking and is in an excellent location for walking to the beach and pier in San Clemente. The owner was very easy to contact and very responsive. However, the photos on VRBO are outdated and there was no “house manual” for reference. We noted that the furniture is worn and needs a thorough cleaning. Cushions were torn with stuffing coming out and sofa had food crumbs under cushions. The hall bath shower door came off the track repeatedly. The property was clean on the surface, but the cabinets, closets and shelves were dirty and filled with owner’s items. The kitchen cabinets were sticky inside and utensils and china need updating. The Keurig would not work and the grill was so dirty we did not use it. The “outdoor shower” is a shower head on the front wall of the garage. This rental was disappointingly unclean and needs refreshing.

I am a school teacher in the California desert and I bought this lovely home to someday retire in.... I love that it is a walking town and a great escape from the heat! To me being a Native Californian I'm familiar with all of our beaches but, I believe San Clemente is the number one family oriented beach town that I know of.... I love the swing sets and the park right on the beach for my two young granddaughters, the ocean front happy hours for my husband, the yoga studios I can walk to, local surf lessons for the older kids, thrift stores in town that my teenager adores, as well as the most scenic and incredible beaches and walking/biking trails anywhere. You can park your car and never get it in again until it's time to go!! You can do as much as you'd like or as little as possible! It's Up to you! Please enjoy my home as your own!!

We love the location! It is so close to the beach, pier and shops. We bought it because we loves to spend the summer just walking or with a drink in hand sitting on the sand hearing the waves crashing on the shore! This condo feels like a private home with only two units on one lot. The layout is open and the many sliding doors and windows allow the beach air to blow in. I love the two large balconies so I can sit outside and enjoy the beach area scenery. You are right in the middle of everything yet it is peaceful and serene.

Walking from the front door to the beach in less than 5 minutes! No hassling over a parking place. There's everything in the garage from chairs to beach toys to an umbrella. I often walk up and down to the beach several times a day. You can hear the waves at night.
