Located in the heart of La Quinta Cove, this luxury home is perfect for any type of getaway you may be looking for. Its outside offers complete comfort with a private pool and patio, including BBQ and outdoor furniture to kick your feet up on and enjoy amazing views of the Santa Rosa Mountains.

The home features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, a dining room seating 8, a gourmet kitchen that includes brand new stainless steel appliances and stocked with dinnerware and cooking utensils. The kitchen opens up to a large living room with a cozy fireplace, large designer couch for 7 and a 85" 4K OLED Sony smart TV. Wireless high speed internet with speeds up to 500bps throughout the home and all TV's have access to YoutubeTV, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime ect.

Within the home are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. First bedroom features 2 comfortable Full beds with a large closet and 50 inch HD smart tv. Second bedroom includes a California King bed, large mirrored closet and a 45 inch HD smart screen tv. The master bedroom has a plush California King bed with 2 walk in closets and large spacious bathroom, including his and her sinks and separate bathtub and shower.

Our property is blocks from Old Town La Quinta, with dining, shopping, art shows, and a Farmer's Market on the weekends. It is minutes from spas, tennis, golf, and there are hiking and bike trails in walking distance.

Winter Getaway

We love the La Quinta Cove area and were happy to find a house close to the walking trails as we have stayed in the area before. We were disappointed by this property as it is sadly neglected and needs a lot of TLC. The yard is in very poor condition with a pool in need of repair and the surrounding coating cracked and crumbling. The pool itself while old was clean and serviced on a regular basis. The outdoor furniture was in poor condition and uncomfortable . My husband and I spent the better part of an afternoon sweeping, cleaning the bbq, replacing broken and missing lights and washing down the furniture and concrete. We purchased some cheap outdoor rugs from Walmart just to cover up the mess and make it more bearable for our stay. Overall, we did not find this home comfortable and it is unsuitable for a long term stay.

Horrible owner/host

The house had great extras. The grill, iron, huge TVs, dishes and utensils. It wasn’t as kept up as you would expect. Holes in the walls, missing floor slats, master tub dripped, and the string of lights above the pool had a broken bulb. Not just missing or not working, but broken glass hanging above the pool. Wasn’t told there would be a strange man in the backyard 2 times. Ended up being pool guy, but should’ve mentioned that as we were a house of women and kids. Had an issue with the host demanding we pay the final payment 3 days before the due date. He switched the reservation dates and told us to leave early since we didn’t pay. Then he deleted the payment so we couldn’t even pay it early. Had to call Vrbo customer support to get it sorted out because the host was being rude and inconsiderate. House 6/10, host 0/10.

We are an elderly couple that needed to get away from doctor visits and outside retractions for a few days We had a relaxing time. The house had a nice layout but there were a number on maintenance items that should have been taken care of. It appeared no one had done anything there for some time.

Pleasant family getaway spot with pool under the mountains

We stayed two nights here as a base for a day trip into Joshua Tree Natl Park. We enjoyed the pool and the BBQ. Great for families.

Great floorplan for a large family

We had a great time at this property. The floorplan was perfect for a large family, and the heated pool was a hit with the kids. The location was on the edge of La Quinta, with nice views of the mountains. The check-in/out process was seamless, and I would recommend this property.

Clean house with great amenities and tons of space for the weekend

My friends and I booked this place for the weekend and it was the perfect place to fit my big group of friends! There was a ton of space and the beds and rooms were all well stocked and comfortable. We loved having the pool in the backyard which was a great way to cool off during the day. Instructions were very clear and Ian was super quick with communication. We will definitely be booking this place again if my group of friends are ever back in the Palm Springs area.

A Lovely 3 Weeks in La Quinta

We truly enjoyed our stay in La Quinta. The location of our rental was perfect -- right next to the trails and mountains and a short distance from the historic town centre. We took advantage of all the amenities of the home which was well- supplied from the kitchen, to the bathrooms, to the pool towels. Our host was excellent at communicating and we really appreciated how attentive he was to our questions. The home has in some parts been renovated with lovely counter tops, etc. The only downside was the master bed could use a new mattress and there were definitely some "finishing" (paint refresh, missing baseboards, lamps that didn't work, outside lights broken, pool bottom, front yard, and the like) that could be undertaken to make this spot truly lovely. We were very comfortable in this home and would recommend it highly.

Very happy with this rental

Nice layout for 2 couples, could’ve easily accommodated 3. Didn’t have to purchase any essentials for the kitchen. Home was well-stocked. Pool was great and the patio provides both shade and sun most of the day. Beds were comfy. Easy checkin and checkout. Great location.

Lovely House

This house was lovely! The backyard/pool area was well maintained and had a BBQ. There was just three of us, but the house could comfortable accommodate a bigger group. You do have to jump in a car to get to most restaurants and retail stores. A path that leads to several hiking trails is a few-minute walk. It's a quiet neighborhood. I love the layout of the house. The kitchen had full appliances and supplies to cook basic meals. This perfectly suited our needs to a quiet getaway to reset before the new year. Thank you to Ian for being a wonderful host.

La Quinta Cove

This house is a great place to get away, which was our main reason for renting. Although we were by ourselves, it would be the perfect place for 3 couples. Private. A lot of the reviews had some great feedback which really helped us make our choice, but was hoping some of the problems might have been fixed. Hence the 4 stars. Still a lot of things that need attention. Easy to fix. Hopefully Ian will do some detailing. Thanks for the stay.

Awesome vacation. Excellent communication with the host, Ian. Great home for our group which was 6 adults and two kids. This house had everything we needed. Three bedrooms with a bathroom for each bedroom. Great kitchen to cook in. BBQ in back yard. The pool was a hit for all of us… so relaxing and tons of fun for the kids. Thank you

Comfortable and well equipped

Loads of living space, great kitchen that had everything we could need. Super walk in shower in the en-suite. Spent a lot of time in and around the spacious pool. Ideal location for town or trails. Easy check-in and out and a very relaxing stay.

Need new tv

The smart tv in the room was kind of outdated and difficult to connect to Wi-Fi , and didn’t have up to date app for the tv . But all and all 5 stars , since we didn’t use the tv like that we had more fun with each other . Definitely coming back 💯💯💯

La Quinta in July

This is the second VRBO my friend and I have used in order to attend our daughter's dance competition at the Hyatt Regency which is about 10 mins from the property, which was a plus. A previous review mentioned the front door area was dark and gloomy, so I was nervous about that knowing there would be late nights during the week due to the competition, but the porch light was bright and checking in was easy. Overall house was nice and as described. There were some nitpicky things, like the pillow top mattress on the Master bed moved around and slide down the side, but I always seem to have that problem wth pillow tops. There was a beeping sound coming from the garage. The garage door opener mounted on the wall displayed a Battery Replacement Message. I notified Ian, letting home know it was loud enough to hear in the house. I hoped he send someone to check it out but it just beeped all week. It didn't bother anyone so we just ignored it. Kids loved the pool, there were plenty of towels and other supplies. We ran out of kitchen trashbags on the last day, but no biggie. Being July in the desert, the A/C worked well and kept everyone comfortable. I had to add another night and Ian was able to accommodate us. Overall, a satisfactory experience.

Sunshine Getaway with friends

This was a wonderful home with amazing pool to enjoy and relax. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms made it a super comfortable stay. Time by the pool was perfect.

Good for a short stay

Pool was wonderful on hot days and evenings. Would have been nice if the skimmer was not torn. We had some wind and could not skim the debris off the water. Kitchen was well appointed and beds were comfortable. Location was perfect for Cove adventures.

Palm Desert area was a destination I frequented a couple times a a year for vacations, golf, music festivals and relaxation and ultimately saved enough to by a place of my own. I have realized that life does not provide enough time for vacationing at my young age and would like to offer up my home to all who seek a great experience in La Quinta / Palm Desert.
