Phoenix X is one of the most popular condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach. This unit is also just one condo away from the parking convenient!!

There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix X. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while your grilling your BBQ.

Come relax on the spacious 4th floor balcony with breathtaking views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master with balcony access! There is also a king bed in the 2nd bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit has been upgraded to included new furniture and new cabinetry. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls. Don't forget we are right next door to the Flora-Bama!

Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $60 per vehicle.

New Year Fun

Spring Break

Excellent location for enjoying beach and Florabama. Clean and everything we needed in kitchen for cooking and was nice to have washer and dryer. Great views of beautiful beach!

We had a fantastic experience here. We wanted a nice little getaway and it was wonderful. The condo was beautiful, spotless and all around everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful weekend!

Great location

Wonderful location! Located near Flora-Bama restaurant which had tasty food and drinks. We could just walk over from our chairs at the each. Super close and convenient. Condo was clean. Amenities were good. Only complaint is the master bath bathroom door. It is barely usable and barley hanging on the track. Kinda frustrating. The three hot tubs and indoor and outdoor pool were nice. Family friendly. Would def stay at this location again.

View and location on point

This is our second stay at the Phoenix X. First time at this unit. We throughly enjoy this spot for location as you get a beach view and the florabama right next door. Beds were comfortable and everything was good for our 5 day stay. I wish the laundry was a full size set so you’ll do more laundry if you’re staying quite a few days. We went to use the oven and it didn’t turn on but we checked and it actually wasn’t plugged in. Once we plugged it in it worked fine.

Loved Phoenix X

Loved the complex. pool, staff, and location. Condo itself needs help. Cleanliness was awful. Mirrors alll smeared;, toaster, oven etc. dirty; broken cabinets; lights out; air conditioning not working but fixed; wifi out but fixed. Dust bunnies under all furniture. Oven mitts dirty and burned up..

Views are amazing

The property was in a great location. It was very clean and pictures are exactly the way the condo appears. We ate in several meals and the kitchen was nicely equipped. We did bring our own griddle which made things a little easier. The outside area was very clean around the pool and the grills. Parking was nice, the unit is on the 4th floor and you can park in the parking garage just steps away from your vehicle. There are carts available to load your belongings on to make it easier to carry things in. The views are amazing from the balcony. We sat there most of the time when in the condo. I would definitely stay at this condo again!

Great Condo and beautiful beach

Property is clean and the grounds and beach are beautiful. I appreciated having the parking garage and ample luggage carts available. Never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for an elevator. It was busy and I felt the outside pool should have been heated. There was no space in the indoor pool. Way too crowded while the beautiful outdoor was empty as it was freezing. Condo needs a new bathroom door. It doesn’t close and broken. Could use some new pillows in the master and new quilt. The kitchen sink is also clogged. Overall with just a few changes, the condo would be perfect!! Orange Beach is very pretty, clean, and lots to do.

Great location but Disappointed in Property

We loved the location of this property and it was furnished nicely. However the cleanliness and maintenance of the property lacked a great deal. When we arrived the linen closet had towels just thrown in (we rewashed all). There was also towels in the washing machine. The master closet had a blanket and pillow just thrown into a laundry hamper. There was also some maintenance issues such as one of the drawers in the kitchen was broken and the door in the master bathroom was broken. This would have been a great place if more attention to detail had been done on the cleanliness and maintenance.

Comfortable, needs attention

Floor had not been swept, debris on floor, crumbs and salt on counter, nasty dirty wadded up towels in kitchen sink, no light in master bath, coffee table needed wiping down. Manager said towels and kitchen debris were likely appliance people who installed new appliances. Regardless, should’ve been checked before renting. Bed configuration in 2nd bedroom prohibits door from being able to close. Decor is nice, view is spectacular. 2nd bedroom could use some tweaking. Old lamp with cord wrapped around it just sitting in there, old tv in closet so we had to move it to hang clothes. I give it a C+

Needs attention but enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to the area for many years and have stayed at Phoenix X mostly however this was our first time in this unit. The unit was nice but needs some attention. For example, the lint trap in the dryer had not been cleaned in many uses, the dishwasher had mold in the vent and did not efficiently clean dishes. The floor had not been vacuumed/cleaned as there were crumbs under the table and spots on the tile from the door to kitchen sink. I vacuumed and mopped before we moved all our stuff in. I cleaned the dryer vent and area as best I could. We ended up hand washing our dishes. We still enjoyed our stay as we love the area but don’t know that I would stay in this unit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property could’ve been great but it had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time. There was black mold growing in the shower, fake eyelashes leftover from the previous guests, dirty dishes in the cabinets and trash rolling around under the bed. We came as a family and honestly did not feel comfortable having our 6 month old sleep here. Rather than calling the housekeeping crew that had supposedly already cleaned the unit, we ended up buying our own cleaning supplies and losing a day of our vacation to make it livable. The property’s owner reached out asking about our stay and when we informed him of the conditions he refunded our cleaning fee but it also took us sending another email in order to get that money back. Overall, would not recommend this property unless you like to clean while you’re on vacation.

Disappointing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Other than the location, this was a pretty disappointing condo rental. The communication was fine with the rental company, but it would’ve been nice to know several things about the actual building/condo prior to arrival and even selecting this condo. For instance, it would’ve been very nice to know that the pool was going to be closed the entire time we were there. That’s kind of a big deal and there was nothing said about that. Also, the elevator in the parking garage was only working part of the time. Because there was a bunch of construction and maintenance going on on the decks of the building. No mention of that from the rental company. And $60 to park per car? Give me a break! We talked to several other people renting and they were also very disappointed and felt misled. As for the condo itself, a little upkeep and TLC would go a long way to make it so much nicer. I read several reviews about little things like the toilet paper holder being loose. Someone needs to just go in there with a dang screwdriver! They clearly know about it because it’s been mentioned several times. The same could be said for a couple doorknobs. It just makes you think that if these obvious things need to be addressed, what am I not seeing?? Being next-door to the FloraBama was fun. I will say that much.

Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures on the website are very misleading. The entire condo is in desperate need of updating. The drawers in the kitchen were falling apart, the shelf in the freezer is very rusty, the baseboards were all marked up and chucks of word were missing, there was no privacy in the bathrooms, the door knob to one of the bathrooms was too small for the hole, there was a musty feel to the condo.

The shelf in the freezer has a lot of rust on it. The toilet paper holder is missing the piece to actually hold the toilet paper. Floors hadn’t been swept. There are brown stains from water leaks that they tried to cover up with paper towels and a bowl under the kitchen sink. Knob missing on closet door in master bathroom. The 2nd shelf on the coffee table still trash from the last occupant and looked like it hadn’t been dusted in quite some time. *rats were seen running around outside the area where the grills are downstairs and a snake😳...
