Hello, we are so very sorry that your recent stay with us was not up to expectations. As a VRBO Premier Host, we totally agree that any issues with cleanleness should never happen. Unfortunately this is the first we have been informed about this , had we have known, we would have gladly had the unit thoroughly cleansed again for you when you arrived. This has been addressed with our cleaning company who has a 5 star rating in the Orange Beach community. Per the pre-arrival checkin instructions that were sent to you. The checkin time is 4:00pm CST and if you try to enter your front door code prior to this time the lock will go into protection mode for 30 minutes. This information was plainly stated in our welcome message to you and the front door electronic log does show access was attempted a few minutes before the 4:00 pm set time. We welcome any feedback from our guest concerning our amenities or furnishings. Our unit is inspected in the offseason for any signs of wear or changes in decor trends that need to be made. As a Premier host we value everyone’s feedback and hope that we can sometime in the future have your back as a guest with a better experience. Our goal is to constantly evolve and change our unit with the suggestions and latest trends in the beach community. On VRBO we have a 9/10 rating and we strive to maintain this . We are very sorry that your experience at our Phoenix East unit was less than expected. I do want to point out that the work that just started on the indoor pool was not due to a breakdown but yet a constant effort by the complex to upgrade our amenities . As for the work on the outside of the complex , this had to be started immediately due to a recent weather event that caused exterior damage. Contact has been made to our complex maintenance directors to address the opportunities you had experienced with the construction workers and elevators as well as internet service. I do know that the Phoenix East Complex constantly strives to have the best complex amenities and with that comes construction as which there is no good time for it to take place unfortunately. Our hope is that you will visit us again and enjoy all the improvements the Phoenix East complex is making and we most definitely would offer you a special rate for your inconvenience.
