Updated log cabin with great location.This rustic log cabin is only half a mile from downtown Buena Vista. The Blue Spruce Cabin sits on a large lot with blue spruce pines and many visiting deer. The master bedroom has a Queen bed and a private half-bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The living room has a beautiful gas fireplace, comfy seating and offers extra sleeping with two twin beds. The large kitchen which was updated in 2015 and has plenty of room for cooking family meals and you can enjoy them either in the dining room or outside.

The Blue Spruce Cabin is perfect for families who want a true log cabin without being too far from town. You can walk or ride your bike to shopping, restaurants, the Cottonwood Creek or the Arkansas River.

We loved our stay at this property! The owner was very good at communicating and made us feel very welcome. The location was fantastic—we walked to town several times and the park was really close. Leaves were poppin! Can’t wait to stay here again!

It isn’t a true 3 bedroom. There are 2 twin beds on the end of the living room. It met our needs for a weekend getaway, it was comfortable and cozy.

Fantastic.

Absolutely loved this cabin. Very cozy and clean with comfortable beds. Location was perfect and the cabin had all the necessities we needed. We will definitely stay here in future visits to Buena Vista.

Quaint property and great location!

Accommodations were great and location was perfect for hot springs and skiing. Check in was easy and we had no issues!

Perfect Cozy Cabin

Nice, well equipped house close to town center.

Nice house, located very close to the town center. House was equipped with everything we needed. Check in/check out was very straight forward.

Neat Cabin is great location

My friends and I stayed here for a night. The cabin is neat and tidy and has all the amenities we needed. Check in/ out was a breeze. I highly recommend.

Cute cabin & great location!

We loved our stay in this adorable cabin! We came to BV for a wedding and it was a 1 1/2 away from the venue and 1/2 mile to everything downtown which made all of our activities so easy to find. The cabin was clean, had comfortable beds and basically had everything we needed for our short stay. If you like a mountain rustic feel, this is the one for you!

Short vacation

The cabin was cute, clean and close to town, we could walk to restaurants, retail shops, and we loved watching the local deer hang out in the neighborhood each morning. We had a couple of hiccups with our trip which required us to reach out to the host, they were accommodating to our issues, and so helpful when our truck broke down in Tin Cup. We truly enjoyed our stay at the little cabin in town, we will be back!

Horrible Communication

The place was nice and our staff staying here enjoyed the property but the host is extremely condescending and difficult to work with since the beginning. She is not polite and her messages encompass a very belittling tone. As someone who managed 15 VRBO rentals during an event in Buena vista, I can say that there are much more excited and pleasant hosts around this area.

Well appointed cozy adventure cabin

Charming and comfortable cabin with all the things necessary for a good time. We went to the Hot Springs, shopped on Main Street, played games, drank tea and wine, and watched movies. Was an ideal short getaway with friends. Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, well functioning kitchen, wonderful fireplace, easy entry, Awesome host. Would be a great spot for summertime or winter time adventures in the area. Very convenient to town chock full of cute shops and good restaurants. Just beautiful, BV has stepped up the game. Had a great stay thank you.

Buena Vista is a small town that sits in a gorgeous valley surrounded by public lands on all sides. Thus, most of its attractions are outdoor recreational activities. In the winter, enjoy skiing at either Monarch Ski Area or Copper Mountain Resort. In the summer, enjoy whitewater rafting down the Numbers or Brown's Canyon, both runs are on the Arkansas River and are very close to Buena Vista. In July, Buena Vista has an Art Walk when all of the galleries stay open late, offer wine and appetizers, and feature local artists. In August, Buena Vista has a festival called Gold Rush Days, which has craft vendors, a parade, and a pack-burro race (the only sport indigenous to rural Colorado). Year round you can enjoy Cottonwood Hot Springs or Mount Princeton Hot Springs, where you can actually sit in the river where the hot springs come out of the ground! Make sure to check the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce web site for any local events that might be happening while you are in town.
